Great spot for a quick pit stop if you are around the 9 streets. The staff and location are hip and friendly and that comes with a price tag. It’s also a great spot to shoot some emails if you are trying to find an alternative place to work. And finally it’s located in front of one of the trendiest thrift shops in Amsterdam!

Surprisingly decent coffee for a franchise chain. During our last stay in Amsterdam we went to various Coffee Company locations and weren’t disappointed. Solid quality and really tasty Cappuccinos. Free WiFi too.
Defo recommended, the flavour is far superior to Starbucks.

After moving in to our new place in the Jordaan I needed a place for coffee for a few days while waiting for my new espresso machine to arrive. This location of Coffee company is the closest to our place, and I had found espresso at their other locations to be reasonably drinkable.
I went here three times. The first two times the server made incorrect change. It was less than € 1 each time, but each time it was in their favor.
The third time the server attempted to shortchange me by € 5, then shrugged matter-​of-​factly when I objected and he gave me the five back.
When it happens once or twice, it’s just an accident or a couple of bad employees. When it happens repeatedly, it’s clearly a management issue. If you are hiring thieves as a matter of policy, it won’t be long before you run out of customers.

Solid coffee shop (not the Amsterdam pot kind of coffee shop). If you are really coming for the coffee, get the filtered coffee made to order. I had 6 varietal beans to choose from and chose one of their Guatemala varietals based on the recommendation of the barista and my preferred flavor profile.
Served nicely in your own carafe with a description of the coffee. The coffee was very good, however I’m used to a bit more coffee beans in my cup of coffee — theirs was a bit on the light side. But it’s all relative.
Could easily be a pretentious place if it wasn’t for the kind barista who welcomed me.

As other said, Coffee Company can be considered the Dutch Starbucks. Coffees are OK, being Italian I am used to a different standard but still like them. There’s a full menu with different flavors and compositions. Every customers receives a code to use the Wi-​Fi for free for an hour, and there are tables made to host people with laptops, with power plugs and wide space.
