This place is super tiny but totally cute(also because it is so tiny!) and very cosy. It is a perfect lunch spot while shopping or while on a break from a busy school(or work) schedule :) I love the cosy spots upstairs. The sandwiches at this place are tasty and I love the goats cheese! The location of this place is also very nice! In the middle of the city centre, located in the ‘negen straatjes’ nine streets district, which is one of my favourite neighbourhoods in this lovely city. Yes Lef, you’re cute! And often there is even enough place/seats left to fit into this tiny place!

Had a vegetarian omelet(€ 4.95), a small orange juice(€ 2.50) and carrot cake(€ 1.50). Omelet had mushrooms and red union, but tasted pretty bland to be frank. Orange juice came in a small glass with a giant straw. Not chilled. Carrot cake(Dutch recipe) was fine. Will not visit again, allthough location and vibe are OK.

We discovered this cute little café on a sunny fall day in 2006, and have been returning each time we’ve visited Amsterdam. It’s located near Singelgracht, on the border of the Spui /9 Streets area, and offers a nice array of various breakfast foods such as egg dishes and fresh squeezed juices, as well as heartier stuff for lunch such as panini, sandwiches, and a soup of the day. The place is tiny, and has an upstairs area /loft that can only be reached by very steep stairs. The view from the top, however, is worth any broken bones ‘-D.
