Cosy place, nice atmosphere and the guy serving us was most friendly. Although this place is more something of a stylish ‘hipsterish’(in a good way) kind of a bar, they do serve very nice Asian style snacks, really tasty. Recommended, but do visit them on Mondays, Tuesdays or perhaps Wednesdays, because towards and during weekends it’s difficult finding a place to sit.

Wonderful kind and respectful service. Delicious fresh menu. Very generous with drinks, great atmosphere and music. Try the elderflower prosecco cocktail if you are in for it. A pearl in the heart of Jordaan!

Came here on a Monday afternoon. Delicious iced coffee! Obsessed with the atmosphere. Ordered the chicken and avocado sandwich which was delicious. My sister ordered a salad and said it was very good. We shared the Chinese noodle soup which was a good size to share. Came with a nice array of Chinese sauces to add in. Very reasonably priced and a great stop during a day of shopping! Great service as well! :)

Nice place and it is quite busy. Service was extremely slow and I saw several people leaving after waiting for a long time. My food was excellent, it was a sandwich with pear, cheese and honey! But my boyfriends truffle pizza was very disappointing! It looked like a small, overly cooked small tortilla. Very disappointing.

This place without branding, with maybe revoked renaming(was called Café Cake for some time — according to Unilocal) is very busy at lunchtime. It’s cozy and great to meet up with friends for a decent lunch. The food is really good and worth the waiting(calculate time generously). Actually, Wolvenstraat 23 is open all day long, so you could enjoy breakfast here, then read newspapers and magazines until your friends arrive for lunch, hang around the whole afternoon drinking coffees and verse muntthees, waiting for your friends to come back for the afterwork borrel. You could. If you didn’t have to work, too.
