Hier bin ich bei der suchen nach guten Cafés gelandet, die ihren Kaffee selbst rösten. Der laden bietet sich gut an für heute, die sich dort hinsetzen möchten und evtl. am Laptop arbeiten möchten, während sie eine gute Tasse Kaffee genießen.
Der Filterkaffee (Aeropress) war solide. Nicht der aller beste aber definitiv einen Besuch wert, zumal es ja auch immer Geschmacksache ist.

And I thought early morning meditation would revive me. Until I had a cuppa with almond milk. Will cost you 50cents more but so worth it. But of course only if you are onto those sort of fancy experiments on your coffee.

I love Coffee. I just do. I especially love it when it’s made with care and precision. I came at a rather slow part of a weekday morning and was helped by a friendly Dutch coffee expert.
F got a Hot Americano (because that’s what he is), and I got a little Cappuccino.
His Coffee got the job done, but my capp was just too cute. It came in an 8oz cup, not the standard American style that comes with a head of foam. The coffee was delightful, especially with a little cocoa and cinnamon sprinkling.
The prices were right, and the coffee was super high quality, so it was even more worth it. The inside was adorable, a rectangular sitting area with arm chairs and the long, communal table. They also make a cold brewed iced coffee which I regret not getting, it was the only time I ever saw it in my 3 week euro-​trip.
It’s right off the Tram, be sure to stop buy if you need a fix!

Granted we were in Amsterdam for a week and went to and fro, but we started everyday here. Large Café Americano and fruity youghurt.
The staff rotated but they were always pleasant, helpful, patient (with me), and played great music. Sorry, we never got their names but they all shined. I really enjoyed it when they Smiled. Good luck to all in your time in university:)

Great little coffee shop with early opening (7.30am), free wifi and prices are reasonable with coffee’s, innocent smoothies and a range of soft drinks available. Cakes also available — no obvious gluten free options but if needing a snack then the Eat Natural bars are sold here.
If I’m back in Amsterdam then I would return here — nice to be in a city that you don’t know well and still be able to avoid Starbucks (which was across the street).
Service can be a bit slow (though friendly) so if you are in a rush then this might frustrate you.
