What a quaint restaurant with delicious food! My husband ordered the all you can eat ribs. It was quite sumptuous, plentiful, and flavorful. This was his third visit and he is a true rib master… he knows ribs! Definitely, two thumbs way up!!!
I’m a vegetarian and he wondered if I could find something to enjoy. I certainly did!!! I tried the olive dish, Spanish omelette, mushrooms, and Spanish cheese! Everything was so good! Truly enjoyable!
Service was impeccable and friendly! Alvaro and Larisa are wonderful owners/​chef/​hostess! You will feel right at home! Maria provided helpful and attentive service, as well.
So now I’ve eaten at Castillo three times in the past six days! When you find great food in the perfect setting, why switch up?! Something here for everyone’s pallet. Do yourself a favor and try Castillo! Add this restaurant on your «to do list» while in Amsterdam!

Very good meal. Had a couple steaks — all we cooked as requested and very tender & tasty. The fries were good as well. Only disappointment was the salad — mostly iceberg.

nice little cozy place tucked away in the city. Great assortment of tapas. Staff was crazy busy, but very friendly. I sat at the bar. It worked out, but it is a small bar area… I was solo the whole time up there.
Food was yummy delicious. I had 3 tapas and couldn’t finish it all. I’ll be back for sure.

Une bonne découverte de restaurant argentin dans cette — très — belle ville d’Amsterdam.
Accueil sympathique, carte un peu chère mais viande à la hauteur des attentes et fajitas copieuse.
Le vin de la maison rouge est un argentin robuste à consommer avec «du gras» :) et le blanc assez anodin.
Bref, une adresse intéressante dans cette rue d’aspect touristique mais pas tant.

The best kept secret in Amsterdam. Tapas as good as the best in Spain… the cuttlefish is amazing… the iberico ham is beyond words. My favorite restaurant in The Netherlands. Their home made bread may be the best piece of bread i have ever put in my mouth… especially if you dip it in the sauce from the garlic shrimp. Outstanding! Chef and the owner bent over backwards to make an outstanding meal for us. After traveling all over the world and every state in the U. S… one of my 3 favorite restaurants on this planet.

We were out for good steaks and beer. This place was pointed out to us by a local. It wasn’t a problem to get a table for a party of 7. The place is not fancy, but nice. The tapas we had where pretty good.
We ordered some Sangria with it, which was good too. The steaks we had where a little overdone.
So I would recommend this place I you are looking for good, not pricey steaks.

Sehr nette familiäre Atmosphäre. Steaks sehr lecker-​sehr gutes Preis-​Leistungsverhältnis. Sehr leckere und preiswerte Tapas. Gemütlicher offener Kamin.
