Depending on your culinary requirement and budget, you can stop here to purchase cheap sandwiches, edible cheeses and other lunch time eats. Located near Rembrandt Square, it’s one of the best option when you are penny pinching. Food items are definitely low cost. My friends and I ended up purchasing grocery here and stocked up on breakfast items like croissants, cheeses, bottled water and other delicious things because we couldn’t afford to eat out 3 times a day. The only thing that sucks is they don’t take European Mastercard, but they do have an ATM machine inside the store if you need cash.

Excuse my American reference, but this place is like Whole Foods meets 7-Eleven! Located just a block from Rembrandt Square, «AH» is a one-stop shop. And a healthy one, at that. They carry plenty of prepackaged fresh food options including salads, sandwiches and wraps. They also carry some basic grocery items: bread, milk, bottled water, fruit juice, cheese, cold cuts, and some baked goods. Prices are very reasonable. In fact, I stocked up my hotel refrigerator with AH groceries and saved a ton of money. The best part was the free Holland soccer mascots. The Holland soccer team’s mascot is this cute little furry worm thingy. I took a handful of them home to give to my cat as a toy :) I love AH!
