This is one of the few drug stores open after 6pm, so it’s a godsend if you’re downtown and suddenly need allergy medicine, for example.
They have a good selection of drug store fare, including some natural remedies, and last time I was there I got a free Dutch football stuffed animal, so they’re all good in my book.

Kruidvat is the American version of CVS or Walgreens but just on a smaller level. You will find a chain of them all over the Netherlands. It’s one of the biggest Dutch retail chains. Kruidvat provides access to beauty supplies, health and wellness, a small selection of over the counter medicines, cleaning products and other miscellaneous items. I go to Kruidvat when I am looking for random health or beauty supply items. If your traveling then Kruidvat is where you would like to stop in to pick up your toiletry/​hygiene, health or beauty supplies.
