Stuffed Cakes

I just discovered this place the other day. Its within walking distance of my house which is a little scary. It’s a pretty cool concept; the cupcakes they serve are extras from custom orders so the flavors change from day to day. Also the cupcakes taste homemade. I tried 4 different kinds– some were better than others. Favorites were the Oreo and the peanut butter banana. Can’t wait to try more of the flavors!

This place is amazing! They made the best cake for our gender reveal and it was delicious! Highly HIGHLY recommended!

I was just surprised with a box of these amazing and delicious cupcakes as a thank you gesture from Donna & Joey. I am blown away by the variety, the taste & the presentation. They look beautiful and they taste even better! I will defiantly be purchasing these cakes next time I need a sugar fix! :)

I have used Stuffed Cakes for my daughters 1^st-​3^rd birthday parties and have been so impressed by the results! Cupcakes and custom cakes are top notch here and really one of a kind. Great, friendly, patient staff who will take the time to figure out your order with you to make sure it is exactly what you want. Great to support this local West Seattle company! I’d highly recommend!

Overpriced and way too sweet. We got 3 cupcakes and I asked for a fork and she said «this is a bakery, we don’t have forks». LOL.

The only place I could find good gluten free birthday cake for my eldest daughter’s 65^th Birthday Celebration. I it was very good cake!

Genuinely love this bakery, but frustrated with the fact that despite attempting to place an order for my son’s birthday with over two weeks notice (and not a complicated cake order at that), I was contacted days later and told I had missed the two week deadline for a specialty cake order. Upon attempting to place an order for cupcakes for a baby shower (over a week in advance as recommended per the website), they were still unable to fulfill the order. I understand it takes time to make these amazing cakes, but if I’m told to place an order 1 – 2 weeks from date needed it’d be great if it would actually work out!

I don’t know about their stuffed cakes but, the stuffed cupcakes were awful. Dry, small and the frosting was too sweet and was the same on all the various cupcakes. I’m sticking with CR!

After trying these, you’ll never go back to Trophy or Cupcake Royale! (sorry guys).
These are — without a doubt — the best cupcakes you will ever eat! We got the mini-​cupcakes for our wedding, and I got to try three different cake/​buttercream/​filling combos, which were all wonderful. Donna even made a flavor combination that EXACTLY matched my favorite cookies when I was growing up! My brother is now making me get him 2 dozen mini cupcakes for his birthday (but how I’ll ship them to Wisconsin, I’ll never know!!). They are friendly, super helpful, and have the most fantastic flavors ever!

We are so glad that we found this place. We ordered a small two tier cake (gluten free and vegan) and 300 mini cupcake for our wedding last weekend. I have food allergies so I was feeling bummed at the thought that I might not be able to eat cake at my own wedding. This was not the case thanks to stuffed cakes. We loved the cake (lemon blueberry with blueberry frosting and the other tier was chocolate cake with vanilla frosting) and everyone loved the cupcakes (worms, rainbow rolo, and jeff). We will definitely be going back often since it’s what my husband calls «Jenn friendly» (food I can eat!!!).

Love this cake shop. Everyone is so nice and creative. The owner is the sweetest and she really wants to make your cake dreams come true. She came up with the best idea for my daughters 1^st birthday cake and her smash cake. I am and will forever be getting my special occasion cakes from here!

Great flavors and beautiful cakes. Always good when fresh but become dry quickly when trying to keep for several days. So the message is, eat it that day! :-)
We have used them for min cupcakes the past two years for my daughter’s birthday and each time people comment on how delicious they are.

We recently got 14 dozen cupcakes for a wedding. I drove to Monroe from West Seattle to where the wedding was being held. They were packaged wonderfully and I had no problem with anything about how they were packed. I kept the air conditioning on in the car because it’s been warm recently. The cupcakes them self were amazing. I think they were the best cupcakes I’ve ever had. Seriously…
I would recommend this place to other people. Delicious.

Truly a fabulous cake/​cupcake bakery! They have many varieties of GF, vegan and regular cupcakes and all are gorgeous. We tried the pink champagne (vegan + GF), Guinness/​Choc/​Irish Cream, Vanilla w Raspberry filling (GF) and Mint Chocolate Chip (GF) cupcakes. They were ALL so yummy! My fav was the vanilla/​raspberry.
Donna was very helpful and friendly! Can’t wait to go back to try more flavors!

Im writing this review based on there take out boxes that they put the cupcakes in. I bought 8 mini cupcakes, and by the time I got home from a 10 minute drive, most of the cupcakes were smushed against the box and fallen over. I wasn’t even the one driving! My husband was and he’s far from a crazy driver especially with a two year old in the back seat. I was sitting in the passenger seat, where I was trying to keep the box steady, so it wouldn’t get ruined. Especially when I had purchase some of the mini cupcakes for family members to try I didn’t want it to look all sloppy. Stuffed cakes should really invest in some better take out
boxes puhlease!

Donna and her staff are very friendly, and I had custom order cupcakes and birthday cakes there twice, they always turned out beyond expectations and delicious!

The place is a little slice of magic. Darling store front and cheerful interior. The vegan cake options are AMAZING. Due to allergies in my family, we have to have vegan options, but most people’s experience with vegan is «cardboard-​y» and tasteless. Guess what? Our specialty cake and delicious mini cupcakes were ALL gone by the end of the party!
The flavor combinations and stuffed options are amazing! Well worth having to order in advance. We will be ordering for future parties as well.

Stopped by to pick up 3 dozen assorted mini cupcakes for sister’s bday party this past Saturday. Even though I called too late to put in an order (this place must be gaining popularity… i called about 11 days in advance of party day, and they were already booked for special orders), I was told that I was more than welcome to come in and pick an assortment from whatever was available. I went early in the day, half hour after opening and was pleasantly surprised at the wide selection for both minis and regular sized.
Party-​goers LOVED the cupcakes, even those normally without a sweet tooth chowed down on multiples. I tried the double-​oreo– tiny housemade oreo balanced on top of vanilla cake with oreo-​flecked white frosting. As I bit into it, was pleasantly surprised to see another mini-​oreo baked into the middle of the cake. Now i get the «stuffed» concept, and I LOVE it!!!
It’s a good thing that this cute little bakery is so far away from where I live, otherwise I think there might have been lots of unneeded cupcake-​based calories in my future. However, i would definitely drive out of my way for a special-​occasion treat!

ANOTHER bakery in West Seattle. Yes, YES! Just what I want, nay, need to fulfill my sugar addiction. I didn’t even know this place was open but thanks to my fellow’s sister (shout out to Denise) she filled me in. I consider myself a cupcake and cake master. I’ve had a lot: good ones, bad ones, and everything else in between. My palate has been seasoned, if you will. My palate knows that these are damn fine cupcakes.
Stuffed Cakes is in a little shop full of personality. The window is filled with cake and cupcake models, the walls are bright colors with their logo colored in by many a child’s hands. If your child wants to partake there is a table with pages of their logo ready to be full of Crayola. What makes Stuffed Cakes different is their offerings of the day are based on what custom orders they have. You get to try a different cupcake each time you enter their doors. That sounds like an adventure to me!
I went a little crazy and snagged four cupcakes: Momma’s Margarita, The Rolo, The Bourbon, and a strawberry frosting topped white cake cupcake. Yes, you heard margarita and bourbon. THEY DO BOOZY CAKE! I can comfortably say not one was a no. Each and every one of those cupcakes was impeccable. Momma’s margarita was a drink in your mouth, salt and all, plus stuffed with a lime filling. The Rolo, oh my god The Rolo, was a chocolate cake, with caramel buttercream frosting, with the clincher: caramel in the middle. The Bourbon I felt I should savor as I would a bourbon neat while the strawberry frosting on the last cupcake tasted like strawberry ice cream. It was impossible to pick a favorite.
I had some questions about custom orders and while they were up for anything they are unable to accommodate multiple cupcake flavors in a dozen. If you want more than one flavor you have to order one flavor in a dozen than a second flavor in another dozen. Not a dealbreaker by any means especially, according to the website, they can make any flavor in cake or cupcake form.
Stuffed Cupcakes, thank you for operating. I anticipate we will have many encounters.

Their customer service was the worst I’ve ever dealt with.
I called to get a quote on a specialty cake and they said Donna the owner of the store would call me the next day, I never heard from her. I followed up with another call so I could get a quote on how much my cake might cost but Donna was too busy to talk to me. When we were hanging up the phone her employee literally said, «What a bitch!»…I was still on the phone.
I called back and told them I didn’t want to work with them and I couldn’t believe they would treat a customer like that. Donna didn’t really apologize for her employee, but put the fault on me because she was too busy and I should have waited for her to call me.
Obviously, I took my business elsewhere.
