This is a hip little café in West Seattle. I thought my late was weak. I didn’t enjoy it. I did however buy a back of the three pecker and that turned out to be really good. I add an extra scoop as it is a bit lighter than what I am accustomed to.

An excellent neighborhood coffee shop! Once you pick up your new reads from the library across the street, head on over. I’ve always had delicious lattes here(they make their own syrups), and if you’re lucky they won’t have sold out of their tasty baked goods yet. I have mixed feelings about the remodel, but I usually prefer to sit outside anyway.

This was a beloved hang out. I used to come here a lot. Sometimes with friends, sometimes alone. I like the coffee and the lunch food. Coffee and Chai are equally on point. Good selections of alt milks. Granola is good. Sandwiches are good. I used to enjoy staying and eating my lunch here, but since the remodel, its super cramped and hard to enjoy lunch. It would be a 5⁄5 for me but I had to remove one star, because, at times, I feel like the staff is kind of not attentive or something. I do notice a lack of consistency with the food service.(under-grilling a grilled cheese to where it was like, cold in the middle, serving«for here» in a «to-go» container, not asking if i want salad or chips with my order, assuming i want chips). I will update if I have more consistently better experiences here.

Love this place! Staff is AWESOME. There’s even sometimes a dog. ;-) coffee is incredible and reasonably priced. There’s not a lot of seating but it’s a great place to stop on your way somewhere. If you go, try the gluten free sweet potato biscuits! Or the jalapeño cheddar bagel… Yum!

Was craving a mighty-o donut this morning, but was out of luck. HOWEVER… the cinnamon pastry with cream cheese frosting was AMAZING. Morning saved! Thank you Bird!!!

This is a cute little coffee shop. They had good coffee and some pretty solid food options(baked goods and breakfast options). The breakfast bagels have always been pretty tasty. The baristas are always pretty attentive and the service is fairly quick.

Perhaps the nicest baristas & staff in all of Seattle. They’re always happy to see you and can make your morning a little better just by being present. The drinks & food are great too. Give your money to Bird on a Wire!

Their coffee is delicious with a cozy neighborhood feel. Great gluten free food options also. I don’t usually eat breakfast, but when I do I’ll definitely be stoping by again for a gluten free breakfast sandwich again.

I am so upset it took me 4 months to try this place. Don’t make the same mistake, go there! They have great lattes and cappuccinos and their baked goods are great too! The place is small and quaint with some outdoor seating. The service is friendly and the prices are reasonable. Go there soon!

This place is awesome. Little shop, alot of the stuff is made in house. I had a biscuit and a Cuban coffee, both were fantastic. I’ll be going back same day for some lunch and probably every time I’m in W Seattle, check it out!

Over in the neighborhood for kid baseball and wanted somewhere local. Ordered an americano and the flavor is great. After finding out I was going to be outside in the cool weather the barista offered to steam some cream for the top. Great service, great atmosphere will definitely be back. The treats look great as well.

Best place to get breakfast or tea. In the whole area I don’t drink coffee. There food sells out all the time. Soup great. Bagels great. Lots of bacon there!

Ever wondered what sort of coffee you’d get from an espresso bar utilizing something called«Three-Peckered Billygoat» coffee beans? Well, wonder no more! That’s what they use here at Bird on a Wire. And it’s not bad. Low-acid with berry notes and chocolate finish. Makes a good mocha! Less unusual, but still very tasty, are the food offerings here. Wraps, sandwiches, salads, soup and pastries. All solid and flavorful. Service is laid-back and neighborly. There is VERY little seating, and it’s usually occupied by children on weekends, so don’t expect to kick back and relax. Prices and portions are average for the neighborhood, and that’s what this place is about: neighborhood. Cool local spot with good food and an interesting coffee you can’t find at other cafes. Worth a stop!

I am visiting from California and stopped by for breakfast this morning. Coffee was very good. The people behind the counter were very nice. The place was very cosy and I decided to dine in when I originally had not planned to. My fellow customers were especially pleasant to be around. I had a almond croissant which I enjoyed. I also had some type of biscuit with butter on it. The biscuit was very good but I am not the biggest fan of butter so as a whole it wasn’t my favorite thing but that’s my tastes, other people will probably love it. Good experience. I recommend.

This place is a cozy oasis in West Seattle. You could easily overlook it but that would be a mistake. I went in and was treated to a wonderful latte with the perfect amount of coffee and milk. Sure, lattes are easy to make, but this one was just perfect. What to pair with the such a tasty beverage? A unique pastry creation: pretzel roll, sliced with a chocolate ganache spread, wait for it, panini press heated with a little sea salt on top. Just right. The place closed at 4 according to the sign, but at 3:50 three different family units showed up and the woman behind the counter served them all with a smile and ease that made me think this may be a weekly ritual. I left at 4:15 and the others were still chatting in this warm and wonderful gem. Apparently they have a second shop in another business on California. They also have a much larger menu that I didn’t try. Free wifi, although I used the xfinity hotspot. I’ll definitely be back here.

My absolute favorite coffee shop in all of WA state! I live quite a ways away, but I am in the area roughly once a month. A trip to the Bird is always on the agenda — I pick up a couple of pounds of Deadman Roast to bring home, get a cappuccino and lunch. The people there are unfailingly friendly and pleasant. Coffee and food and espresso all excellent. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

BESTCOFFEESHOPINSEATTLE. Some may argue with that sentiment but at the very least, this is the best coffee shop in West Seattle. The baristas truly care about making good, artisan coffee and espresso drinks, and their breakfast sandwiches are LIFECHANGING. Currently, there are locally handmade items for sale as part of a small business Saturday holiday bizarre but they seem to have a cute assortment of little things to shop from year-round!
