I LOVE their grilled veggie sandwich! It was so full of flavor, and the perfect size for a filling lunch. The staff are super friendly, and we’re very patient with me while I fumbled through ordering coffee(I had just started). Really positive experience!

Quaint, unique ambience and very good coffee and espresso drinks. Their menu looks great and super friendly staff(much friendlier than I am at 6:30am)Perfect little place with NO line. I know other places that have a line so long I could get to Bellevue faster!

I’ve only been in Seattle for a month or so and I’m sold on café osita. It’s nice being new and having a place to go where they know your name. Excellent coffee, prices and superior service. Mike is great and I’m a a loyal customer now.

Always happy with Café Osita! Superb vanilla latte and just tried the sausage breakfast Sammie for the first time — I’m hooked! Incredibly fresh, soft focaccia and a little hot sauce for kick. The proportions are just right. And have to mention the outstanding customer service. I left with a smile because they sincerely care about each and every customer. They chat with customers as though they are old friends(who knows, they might be, but had me fooled). I’d only been in once before but I felt so welcome, like I’d been there a thousand times. It’s amazing what a little friendliness and positivity can do for business. I’ll be back again soon!

Café Osita is the best, no doubt about it. The coffee is perfect, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is fantastic. Mike and Andrea always make you feel welcome and it’s a perfect way to start the day. My personal favorite is a tall latte accompanied by an egg and cheese sandwich, tasty to be sure. There are no shortage of great coffee shops in(West) Seattle, but Café Osita stands out… you won’t be disappointed!

Always in search of the perfect cup. .. .. .. .. .. Used to be in the coffee business /roasting and I know fine espresso when I have it. Café Osita is the ideal. .. .. non chain. .. .. .. attention to detail. .. .. .. .. .. . perfect cup type of place. Wish I had a job in west Seattle all the time to frequent this wonderful café. You must make time to stop and visit Andrea and enjoy a well brewed espresso and friendly customer service. Six stars :)

The brew here is really unique. The breakfast sandwiches are great. If you are looking for a small local coffee shop with fun people and good coffee and eats, this place is what you are looking for.

I live across the street from this café and avoided it for several years for two very lame reasons(1) I had to walk across the street and 2) I wasn’t sure it was going to last and I didn’t want to get attached to a shop that may go away(to be fair, we lost two coffee shops in the area in the past 5 – 10 years). Well four years later, I ended up finally going there because a good friend stopped by and asked if we could grab coffee at the closest place near my house. Well after that visit, I could see why this little coffee shop has not only survived, but thrived! First off, the coffee and their barista skills combined = amazing! The coffee is hot, smooth, non-acidic and darn tasty. Beyond that, they have lots of amazing snacks to choose from – some healthy, some gluten free, and some that are calorie-laden but totally worth it. Best of all though, are their sandwiches and sammies(breakfast sandwiches). The bread they use is amazing and I love the flavor combinations. My favorite is this turkey sandwich they make with apple slices and some sort of mango(?) chutney. I can’t recall exactly what’s in it – but trust me – it’s amazing. Café Osita is clearly run by two owners who love what they do and love the customers they serve. Everyone is greeted with a smile and most people are greeted by name. It has a cozy neighborhood vibe to the place which I love as well. It’s clear they have a very loyal following and I feel remiss for not stopping by sooner. Don’t make the mistake I did — if you live in West Seattle, drop by and grab a cup of coffee and a snack from them. You won’t regret it!

Never stray away from anything that is tried and true and you know you love! Today I threw away my hazelnut latte from Bird on a Wire and headed down to Café Osita. Not only was it not as tasty as the delicious ones at Café Osita, but it was tainted with rudeness from the person making it. If I’m paying $ 5 for a coffee, the least you can do is smile when you hand it to me. I’ve only been here 3 times, but each time the barista smiles(regardless of who it is working there) and makes me feel welcome to be there. I’ve chatted with them about randomness every time, even after they’re done making my coffee(which is the best hazelnut latte I’ve EVER had!) All it takes is one great experience. Now I’m hooked and can say I will be a regular for a good long time. Keep up the great work guys!

Great little spot in our neighborhood. Friendly, quick, and good coffee! I’m currently pregnant and can vouch that their decaf lattes are among the best I’ve had yet. They even have a few gluten free treat options.

I ordered an egg sandwich. Girl reaches into the mini fridge pull out a plastic wrapper, takes out my sandwich, wedges into the toaster, *ding,* girl uses knife to pull pieces of my sandwich out of the toaster. I had already paid. One bite and in the garbage can.

Andrea and Michael are great and half of the reason to go into Café Osita. I would be in there more often, but they are closed when I am leaving for work, and closed again on my way home. Great place for a lazy weekend morning to pick up some good coffee and a breakfast sandwich in one place.

What they said(previous reviewers) ! Andrea and her staff are top notch baristas and friendly to boot! I absolutely love their coffee/espresso — these folks make a great drink with great flavor. The shop(though a quaint café size, yes it is small) is nice and cozy enough that you want to stick around to enjoy your drink; the rotating art is nice too. I only refrain from a five star since: * No hours of operation posted anywhere on the café door/window * Closed when I am on my way to work(no coffee before 7AM) :( * Closed at or before 5PM Sadly, I rarely get to enjoy a coffee there, due to my work schedule & their hours of operation. I’d love to be a regular someday, maybe they will consider opening earlier, to make customers of morning commuters and bus riders such as myself. Until then, I sadly spend my coffee $ at other places that ARE open. I do hope their business does well; there wasn’t a good coffee place nearby until Café Osita came along. Cheers & Good luck!

I LOVE this joint. It is a must hit when I am traveling(especially southbound) on 35th in the Westside. The coffee is good, but the service is fantastic! Rotating art selections on the walls… Friendly regulars at bistro tables… Egg Nog Lattes in OCTOBER! Zoinks! A nice choice of nibbles — even for the vegetarian. Now, this café is SMALL, but don’t let that discourage you. Drop on by and have a cup. Andrea will likely help you and she is nice. Real nice.
