The brunch is solid. The best quality of the place is the outside patio, i find the staff rude and unprofessional. I recommend going for brunch during the summer months.

Place was packed on a Friday night! They had plenty of back room seating though. Place looks pretty good for brunch. The drinks weren’t half bad. Would love to come back for their brunch and get some bloody Mary’s.

I’m not from here, I’m new. And love local places and beer. Around the water cooler, at my new job at Amazon, I heard murmurs of this hip joint called Linda’s. Had to scope it out with the crew. I arrived early wanting to not miss a sec, as I was waiting for a table I notice how totally cool and tatted the staff was. How nirvana, I was feeling the Seattle vibe. I was immediately magnetically pulled to the bar. The bartender was a magician with his charismatic I don’t give a hoot persona and soul piercing eyes. I needed to be in the in group here. so I nodded a sup and ordered a whiskey and a local rainier can(ha me!) he seemed impressed. My friends were blown away when they showed up and I simply said hey Joey 4 car bombs! He nodded with a odd look I can only say was respect and approval and within seconds they were there. Great place, you’re instantly part of the gang.

Went to this bar because it was the last place Kurt Cobain was seen alive. Dark lighting, western paraphernalia, and rock music made this place seem like a place he would’ve enjoyed. The food was good, I had the Mac and cheese. My lemonade tasted kind of funny, and the waiter was not that nice to us. Would’ve stayed longer if we had received better service.

I am not a fan of Linda’s. It’s dark, divey, grungy, of questionable cleanliness, one unisex bathroom, loud and crowded. The pool table is cool, but you have to pay to play. Otherwise the food and drinks are reasonably priced. If you want to be in a frat basement outside of a frat, this is the place. I typically avoid this bar unless friends insist on going. I would not make this place the bar of choice of my own volition. The only reason to go is because Kurt Cobain was seen here; go in, check it out, and then leave.

They have a decent draft list and good prices for Capitol Hill. The place needs a renovation and is overrun with Amazon/Microsoft entry level brats most nights tho. Kinda brings it down a star.

This restaurant serves fair looking food and drinks, but they had made a complete mistake having hired a racist bouncer at the door. I arrived at the restaurant yesterday(11/06/2015) 7pm to join my group who already got a table inside. The bouncer asked me to show my ID. I gave him my Hong Kong ID card, which is equivalent to the driver license here at WA and is a universal proof of my identity in every country in the world. He looked at it and rejected my entrance. He said i must showed him my passport. The way he spoke to me was rude. He was smoking and ignoring me the whole time without even looking at me while talking to me. This experience was humiliating. It was ridiculously enough he did allow my Canadian friend to go in just with their Canadian ID card without asking them to show him their passport. Obviously he was acting differently to different people with different races. I am so disappointed at your restaurant. I am a world traveler and have never had any problem with showing my HKID in other countries at all — at least for 7 countries in Europe, 5 countries in Asia and Canada. The only time I needed my passport was entering the United Nations for security check. Despite the good food and drinks you may have created to serve your diners, your reputation is ruined with a rude and biased staff you hire to greet all your guests at the gate.

The food: Yummy and plenty of it. I had no complaints about food. It wasn’t anything I’d brag about, but filling and good. My issue was the speed of service. SUPER slow. I mean it was a sunday afternoon, so we weren’t in any rush but it took ages to get our food and any refills on drinks. The staff were really nice and all just really inattentive.

Linda’s is pretty cool I like the atmosphere because it’s dark basically. Okay really though, if you need a fairly neutral venue to kick off your night, Linda’s is it. Right in the middle of Capitol Hill and full of locals. They play good music and the drinks are fairly priced. Be sure to check out LindasFest! Great punk shows in the summer. Pretty sure it was a better alternative to block party this year. They’re porch is KILLER! It gets a little packed with bros earlier in the evening. But if you hold out till later and start your night outside, you’ll feel right at home. I like to try and grab a table and build from there. It’s great for groups and late ninth shenanigans. I’d feel completely comfortable suggesting a work happy hour here too :)

I had breakfast on the patio on Saturday with friends. It’s a great dive bar with good food. I had the French toast and we shared a pitcher of mimosas. It was exactly what I needed after a fun Friday night. Crystal was our waitress and she was awesome! I’ll be back to try the Bloody Mary.

I am being completely honest when I say I was a little intoxicated by the time I got to this bar. However!!! I absolutely remember how awesome it was. It’s a little divey and the prices are incredibly reasonable, especially for this area. I think a shot of tequila and a PBR cost me 8 bucks. It has a beautiful outdoor seating area that kind of surprised me. I stepped outside and was shocked at the space they had! Our server(even though it was super busy) was quick and always there for anything I could have possibly needed. The bartender was kind of mean– maybe because we asked to split a tab for some shots and he blatantly refused. Besides that, I’ll be back fasho.

Perfect dive bar. I had heard this was the last bar Kurt Cobain was seen in alive and I wanted to check it out. They have a divey atmosphere and some pretty cheap drinks. I tried a Manhattan here and it wasn’t my favorite but it would be worth ordering again. I’ve become a bit of a cocktail snob since I’ve been in Seattle and there are great options for cocktails nearby. This place has a really great atmosphere and I will definitely be back here again to kick off a night.

A place with personality and a backyard. Perfect for winding down with friends to discuss the night’s(or day’s) highlights of debauchery and misgivings. It’s very grunge but what else do you want at 1am when you’ve got picnic tables, Christmas lights, Big Buck, and a jukebox. Kitchen will be closed so don’t be expecting food, that’s across the street at Hot Mamas pizza by the slice.

Hands down, best bar in Capitol Hill. I come here atleast once a week and down to the door guy everyone is awesome. The host Ingrid is great and attentive everytime, she even gets our drink orders going ASAP! Best michelada’s I’ve ever had are always made by Leonie and Christy! Sweetest and cutest girls behind the bar! Whether it’s brunch or late night your bound to have a great time and great food at Linda’s!

Tried the special and I’m normally not a pancake person but I loved the strawberry pancakes! The pieces of strawberries in the actual pancake made them sweet already so I barely needed syrup. Did not love the service. Maybe it’s too dark and no one could see we needed help? Either way, the food was decent and Linda’s is so close by we’ll probably be back to enjoy the outdoor patio someday soon! Also tried the huevos rancheros and added avocado! Eggs were nice and runny, and the overall dish was okay. Too much beans for me but still delicious because eggs are life.

Patio? Check Good drinks? Check Better than okay bar food? Check In case you’re unaware, people in Seattle LOVE patios. Often happy hour meet ups or Saturday brunch is picked solely by where there’s a patio. Luckily Linda’s has a patio, and a great vibe. Linda’s is the perfect place to pop in for brunch on the weekend, grab a drink after work, or eat classic bar food with good friends and play pool. There’s no frills to Linda’s, and the women’s bathroom mysteriously has two sinks, and only one bathroom stall. Why are there two sinks and only one toilet? I don’t really know, and it really doesn’t matter because Linda’s is AWESOME!

An awesome dive bar in a nice area. I came here with a friend looking for a bar with microbrews and cheap beer. We had some local pints for $ 4 each and hung out for a few hours. There was nothing crazy about the bar but seemed like a local joint. They had great specials and although we didn’t have any food so i cant comment on that, but a great dive bar for drinks for sure.

I was bar hopping around with a friend and this was on the docket to stop by and grab a few drinks and some food. Wasnt crowded at all when we went, super chill inside, plenty of tables to sit at, booths to sit with your friends, a few high top tables near the video games is where we chilled out at. Had to get up on Ms. Pacman and Ninja Turtles game too… if I recall correctly, it was only .25 cents to play too. Awesome that it was during Happy Hour time, I think it runs from 3−7pm…they have a little menu for some delicious looking bar food treats. We decided to get the nachos and the happy meal. Nachos were delicious, perfect amount to share with a friend, and super cheesy… they put a good amount of melty cheese on it. Happy Meal was a cheeseburger with fries… pretty good as well. Definitely enjoyed the food. A few beers to wash it down and we were good to go. Bartender was friendly, the servers were friendly brining out the food, checking on more drinks and clearing any items off the table. For me, its a good divey spot to meet up and grab a few cold ones.

I think I’m confused by what the kids call ‘dive bar’ these days. This isn’t a dive bar. This is a very solid bar., bar. Great vibe, friendly staff, cheap prices, and a good selection of local booze. If you like bars, as in what a bar should really be, you’ll have a great night here. Why not 5 stars? I don’t think real bars would want 5 stars. Keeps the after work suits out.

Pitcher of mimosas… check Cheap and great tasting breakfast food… check Divey and casual atmosphere… check Everything about Linda’s is pretty awesome. Huevos Rancheros with chorizo FTW. Man it was good. Plus, their hash browns are super crisply just how I like em. Pretty much all the breakfast meals were under $ 10 which is awesome. Also, a pitcher of mimosas will set you back $ 20 but is more than enough for 2 – 3 people. Staff is great. Definitely a good hangover place. I haven’t been for lunch or dinner but I shall return!

I come here often! I wish it was bigger! If you’re arriving after 9pm on a weekend, I wouldn’t come if you hope to sit, but we usually just try to arrive a little earlier and we can get a table. It’s best in the summer since they also have the outside area. I really love that they have waiter service which comes to the tables. They have always been pretty attentive(for a bar) which I really appreciate. The food definitely isn’t anything to write home about, but it’s bar food! It is acceptable. Overall good place.
