Visiting Seattle and had a discount. Has lobster ravioli. Too bad it was smothered in so much cream sauce that reminded me of Campbell’s tomato soup. Hmm. Dug out the Lobster. Could. barely tell that’s what it was. :(Bf had chicken. Came w mashed potatoes. I’ve never seen him leave potatoes on the plate till this time. :(also the waiter kept serving my wine while holding the glass close to the lip line. Ewww. I wiped it off but… when will wait staff learn to hold a wine glass/coffee cup properly without touching where idrink from? Server was friendly. Good hopping Friday night crowd. Not awful but.. not great.

Food was mediocre, but cheap! I will give it that. You do get your bang for your buck. Out bartender was also really nice. The hostess was rude though The place is dangerous, there was a shooting in the adjacent parking lot last October and another one on the same block in January. The place attracts a scary crowd Anyways, the 1 star is for the crappy service we got when we went in during Fleet Week and they let us order food and then basically turned off all the lights so they could turn it into a club. Like literally as soon as we ordered and got our food they turned off the lights. I hope the place goes out of business and they put in a Starbucks! :)

Went for dinner with friends in NYE as last-minute reservations were still open. The places was moderately busy and appeared easily overwhelmed. The calamari was bland and served with ranch. The salads were plentiful and fresh but likewise relatively flavorless and quite overpriced at $ 10. The ribeye steak was significantly overdone(ordered medium-rate but arrived well-done an hour later. The sauce was actually quite flavorful. The mashed potatoes were over-mixed and difficult to tell apart from instant. They did have a moderatelt-priced wine list but ran out of our preferred wine halfway through the night. The service was slow and lackluster. The bathrooms were cramped, filthy, and sorely in need of a renovation. All in all it was adequate but quite disappointing. Do not recommend. We absolutely will not be back.

Visited here with a friend for dinner. We both had salmon sandwiches which were really good. The drinks were disappointing and service was just so-so, especially for a pretty calm Friday night.

We visited Cellars using a groupon that I purchased because we are new to the Belltown neighborhood. Well, I am glad that it was only a groupon, and I know I will not be back. The food was average at best. I had a steak dish that had lumpy and undercooked mashed potatoes, chewy steak, and old tasting asparagus. My girlfriend ordered the Salmon burger, and she said the Salmon was very fishy and had almost no flavor. The service was very poor and unprofessional. Our waitress was preoccupied the entire time with a friend who was sitting in the bar. She forgot about our appetizer until it was already cooling off, was very unprofessional, and was constantly apologizing, but never stopped talking to her friend. Further, while we were eating, the kitchen staff decided to start cleaning the kitchen, which is always a good thing, but it destroyed our meal because all we could smell was the bleach water they were using to clean the floors. They might have a good happy hour, the prices seem reasonable, but I will never be back for dinner or lunch again.

Terrible experience. Wandered in here on a whim for their happy hour. My girlfriend was immediately bullied by the waiter into changing seats while I was in the restroom: she had wanted to sit next to me, and when I returned, I was dismayed to hear that she had been told she had to move. We were overcharged for the drinks and burgers, which frankly were sub par to what was served in my grade school cafeteria. The icing on the cake was that the straight couple soon seated in the same area were allowed to sit side-by-side. Peachy. Needless to say, we’ll not be returning, and are encouraging others to avoid this overpriced, bland, muzak-infused joke of a dive. Next time we’ll just have a hot dog at Shorty’s, thanks.

Stay away! This place gets scary on Friday and Saturday nights, and the food/drinks during the day aren’t worth the trip.

Went in with a coupon and they over charged us. Wouldn’t show us the menu for what we wanted. No bread with the clams.

i’m going to go with five stars here. on vacation with my parents(yes, i’m 29 shut up!) we stopped here on our last night when none of us could decide what we wanted. we looked at menus posted outside several restaurants on 1st ave & the menu here was literally posted right behind a table of people. i think they realized we were hesitant since we couldn’t see the menu behind them without getting creepy on them, so they all were like«you should give it a shot, it’s really good». so we did! we did the the cajun prawns with spinach & mushrooms which was VERY awesome. we loved the sauce! i got salmon, which came with a TON of real mashed potatoes & asparagus as well. i’m not huge on salmon but i figured hey, it’s seattle. & it was worth it. my mom’s pomodoro was garlicky(which i love) & we all liked it, & my stepdad, the picky eater, got fish & chips that he claimed was the best he think’s he’s had. we all tried a bite & the breading was just spot on… good tartar sauce too. would definitely go back! especially since we sat in front of the awesome fishtank!

I feel like several people’s bad experience with . Have negatively impacted this place’s reputation. Service was fast courteous and competent regarding gluten intolerance. Food was well made and presented well. Caesar salad was standard fare. Pasta pomodoro was fantastic. My sibling had a salmon filet and mashed potatoes and asparagus. She commented on the quality of the entire dish. Great place. Will come back.

Awful experience. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I was ready to come back, until I experienced what could have been the worst case of costumer service in my life. We bought a giftcard from $ 25 for $ 50, online it said that it was valid for regular restaurants hours and happy hour. I can definitely say that from now on I will speak with our server about any sort of gift card, coupon, promotion, etc that I have aquired before I order. After my party of three ordered several appetizers and some drinks from the happy hour menu, we received our bill and told our server that we had a giftcard. He said they could not honor our giftcard although it specifically stated happy hour in the fine print. We asked to speak to the owner, he refused, saying that he would have to contact us after we pay full price. Our server went on to say that this has been an ongoing problem with that the owner has yet to fix. This was made quite clear once I read through previous reviews stating similar issues with this deal. He then called the owner and returned saying that we had three options. Pay full price today, return to use the gift card and take this up with . Wait 45 minutes for the owner to arrive for his shift, or call the police. He left us as we decided what to do and went to a table that was on the other side of the outside seating area and began discussing our issue with the couple seated there. I was appalled by the unprofessionalism and the unwillingness to work with costumers who were clearly unsatisfied. Having worked in the industry, I was very disappointed with the way this was handled. We gave in, payed full price, and will be contacting to resolve the issue, although it is not our responsibility and our experience at Cellar’s certainly did not have to turn out this way. All in all, it was just terrible.

This is a review for happy hour food. What we got: Fresh Alaskan Cod & Chips Milano Garlic Pesto Pizza Cajun Prawns Bellini Martini The Fresh Alaskan Cod & Chips were phenomenal, and certainly worth returning for. The pesto flatbread pizza and the cajun prawns were good too(but not as good as the cod & chips). The Bellini Martini was not good at all, and actually tasted like grey goose and Kool-Aid. The service was wonderful, and both indoor and outdoor tables were available for happy hour on a beautiful summer day. If you’re looking for a place to grab good HH food in Belltown without waiting, check this place out.

This used to be my hangout when I lived in Belltown. I like their set up and their food is not bad. The night life after 9 pm is on, it can be a bit crowded, but you can definitely get your dance on. Also good for bachelorette party. HH food/drinks and prices are really reasonable. So four stars. Check them out the next time you’re in the area.

The service was great. Very quick and friendly. The food is okay. The salmon was pretty dry but the bruschetta appetizer is good.

After experiencing a hilarious movie at Big Picture(Neighbors), we decided to give this restaurant a go. Let me set the stage, it was a rainy late Saturday afternoon and once again we had a coupon; a $ 25 coupon. We arrived at about 6: PM and there was one other person eating. Literally, a lonely single guy. Not a good sign, but we were hungry and we had a coupon. It’s kind of a cute place with lots of TVs. If you mix one part boutique Italian, one part sports grill, and one part Mexican, this restaurant would be what you would get. The décor is Italian/Mexican and the TVs/food are sports grill. At first we were going to sit in the bar, but we couldn’t find a table that wasn’t wobbly, so we moved to the restaurant side. A solid table. Success! We started with an appetizer; onion rings. It was so greasy! But again, we were hungry so sad to admit, but we ate them all. Not a wise choice. For my meal I had a boring burger and fries. My partner can’t even remember what he had. He’s taking cinnamon for poor memory. The real fun started after we left! I immediately had to stop at the store to get Pepto Bismol. I had a few doses throughout the evening and even woke up with a gut ache to take even more. I was so glad the next day was Sunday. I know it was the damn onion rings. I hurt just thinking about it.

Came here with a groupon, and was definitely sub-par. Service was less to be desired, the waiter(maybe owner) was less than attentive and only really seemed to care when we complained about the food. My boyfriend and I got the steak salad and Brazilian steak dish. The food tasted like chain food, and the salad dressing looked like it had been poured out of a hidden valley bottle. The steak’s were seasoned well but did not make up for the rest of the food and service. Waste of money.

The restaurant is not that big, but they are able to take large reservations from what I saw. It was dinner time on a Saturday when I went and it was pretty quiet at first, but once people start coming in it can be really loud. Service was great. If you check in on your Unilocal app I saw they offer $ 15 off if you order two entrees, but I did not use this. I wasn’t super hungry so I ordered a couple Small Plates to share. — Oven Baked Flatbread Pizza: this was good, cheesy — Caesar salad: big portion — Buffalo Chicken Wings: very saucy! you could smell this a table away — Love Potion Martini — it was okay, my BF said it tasted like grape cough medicine, I didn’t thinks so… My friends all ordered entrees and they all looked good and I didn’t hear any disappointing words, so I would visit this restaurant again :)
