stopped in for a glass of wine while showing a friend around downtown. love the new look, very open and comfortable. i have eaten there before but the dishes coming out of the kitchen all looked amazing, like i’ll have one of each. i’m looking forward to going back. we had a lovely lemon bar that was perfectly buttery and tart. most importantly the service was outstanding, extremely attentive and delightful. thank-you Benjamin!

Not your average café! Really love their salads and pastas! Quality ingredients. Love the variety of options. Their salads are incredibly fresh and made to order. Cilantro lime chicken, blackened salmon Caesar, and blue cheese & pear just to name a few. Plus they are huge! They do offer half salads for those with a smaller appetite, you just have to ask. I always get a side of their cheese crostini(they usually serve it when you order soup). Great place to grab lunch when your shopping.

5-stars for being exactly what you expect and for never having complaints about this place. I mean, what is there to complain about? We eat more here than we actually shop in Nordstrom. It’s just a nice, inexpensive getaway to get a quick quality meal. Food is great, service is SO professional and friendly, nice clean atmosphere and a good break after shopping. We walk here for dinner a lot because it’s close, you can skip the huge crowds at other places and its simple but good! We love the dessert selections, as well. And holy brownie, you’ve got to get something out of their dessert case.

I went there with my girlfriends for lunch today. It was one of my favorite spot to eat in downtown Bellevue. We ordered three salads and one cookie. I absolutely love the food here but not too much on the service. The server stopped by our table five to six times and once asked us if we are from, the island. The answer is, no. I might be tan but I am not from there. Another time, I leaned over to pick something up and the server quickly took my plate away without asking. There were a few bites left but I wasn’t finished! In the end, we still left tips to him. Next time, I will probably order something to go if I am craving some salads.

This is my first time coming here since the remodel. Had the server surprise me with a choice between roast beef and some basic chicken club sandwich. Sooo happy she chose the roast beef because it is delicious. It was accompanied by a salad which was a perfect side! No lie, this is honestly one of the best French dips I have ever had! Cashier girls are cute too so that turned this review from a 4 star to a 5. Ha enjoy!

I had a work lunch and the woman I was meeting suggested Café Nordstrom. I’d never been so of course I said yes. Best lunch choice I’ve had in a while! I’m obsessed with the parmesan chicken salad and I’m not much of a salad eater. It’s packed full of yumminess — avocado, bacon, egg, parmesan chicken… and tomato, if you like that sort of thing… which I don’t. After that first visit a couple weeks ago I’ve been back twice and I’ll continue to return because it’s the perfect lunch! Also, if you or your dining partners have food allergies, they take great care to ensure there is no cross contamination. Almost to an annoying level, but you really can’t be too careful with that. I’m head over heels for Café Nordstrom!

Yum! This place has sets a high bar on quality and I’ve been more than impressed by the service and food each time I visit. Tried their salmon — it came perfectly cooked and moist alongside oven roasted veggies that were to die for. Steak was flavorful and ever so moist. Pizza has a light and thin crust, salads are on the smaller side but all their dressings are spot on. Great place for lunch or dinner. Servers are more than happy to assist if you have any special dietary requirements or any other needs.

Always delicious and great service. I go regularly for lunch and love the chicken club sandwich with maple glazed bacon or the crispy chicken salad.

Awesome food. The Niçoise salad is UHmazing. Service is «normal», not at all bad, but not extraordinary. Still, you get a pretty groovy meal experience!

The first thought that enters my mind when thinking of Nordstrom Café is– safe bet. The food here(Salads, Pasta, and Pizza) are fantastic. The quality and preparation is always consistent, and the venue is spacious and clean. When any occasion calls for a lunch or dinner in the downtown area, this is the first place that comes to mind. You know the price point(figure $ 15 a person), and you know the exactly quality of food and level of service you are going to get from here. Whether we actually end up eating here on a certain occasion or not, we always have a level of comfort eating out in downtown by having Nordstrom Café as backup option #1.

This was literally the first time I have stepped into Nordstrom since moving to Seattle 5 years ago. Walking by the $ 1600 leather jackets and $ 600 hoodies, I made my way to the Café. The ordering process is a bit weird – you have to go up and order everything at the cash register and then go wait at a table. A designated waiter then comes and looks at your receipts and takes it to the kitchen. This was incredibly inefficient. Then, after we finally got our food, we barely got any kind of drink refills, and we were not asked if we wanted more tea, wine, etc. The food was standard, I guess, and a bit pricy though. I had the salmon, which tasted okay. Not good, not bad. If I had not been meeting a friend here, I probably would never have stepped in. I probably won’t be back.

Oh man. Was out shopping with a friend and we got hungry, so we decided to stop by. I’m still thinking about the sandwich I got here today. It was delicious! Turkey with bean sprouts, cheese, garlic mayo, and cranberry. I want to go back and try something else. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive, despite the fact that he seemed quite busy. He even offered us waters to go as we left. I’ve never been offered that before! Thought it was really nice. Prices are reasonable for downtown Seattle. It was $ 11+tip for my sandwich. I got one of the lower priced items on the menu, most things were in the 12 – 15 range.

This is a great place to eat at for casual, healthy fare. What’s nice is that if you’re in a hurry, you can get any of the food to-go or if you want to eat in, you can just order and pay first then your food will be delivered to your table. The servers are friendly, but just know that when it’s busy, service can get a little slow. I recently ate here before holiday shopping so you can imagine the crowds of people here, so it took longer than it should to get my glass of rose. But the service does their best. I really like their salads here, and seem to always get the Parmesan-crusted chicken salad, which is a good portion. With anything you order, you can always ask for complimentary bread and butter. This café may be the biggest one I’ve been to of all the Nordstroms I’ve been to(which makes sense since this is their flagship store), so even if the place is so busy, you’ll be able to find a seat. I also like that this is located conveniently by the Pacific Place pathway.

Good food here! It is order at the counter for dine in, then servers bring it to you and refill your drinks. There is no way to leave a tip on a credit card payment. Avoid this place at Noon if you are on a time restraint, the line can move very, very, very slow. Get there right at opening, or wait until after 1p. Everything is made to order, except the bakery items, which are very tempting and usually hard to pass up. I usually order a sandwich and its pretty good. The service is pretty good as well. The prices are on par with area eateries, if not a $ 1 or two cheaper.

I’m gonna be upfront about this – I am an avid supporter of anything Nordstrom-affiliated because Nordstrom is my religion. However, the Cilantro Lime Chicken Salad here goes above and beyond my love for Nordstrom. It is, hands down, without a doubt the best salad I have ever had. Nobody does the cilantro lime dressing better than Nordstrom Café, and the grilled corn in the salad is so delightful and brings it all together. During busy lunch times, you can find some pre-made salads waiting to be picked up for your convenience, which is usually what I opt for. The hard part, of course, is trying to get in and out of Nordstrom without being tempted to buy anything else!

I love the downtown location! You go there and order up front, pay and then get served and tip at the end. Service is fast; they would takeaway empty plates and water when needed. Food is also great.

Came here with a girlfriend yesterday while we were at the Bellevue arts and crafts fair! We were both really hungry and didn’t want to eat junk food so I suggested the Nordstrom Café. I’ve eaten your one other time before and it was really good so I was excited to try it again! It was about 11:30AM and we were immediately seated at a great table, surprisingly it was not too crowded with the Bellevue arts and crafts fair going on. We both ordered the exact same thing which was the blackened salmon Caesar salad with a side of mushroom risotto. When the salad came it looked amazing. The salmon was panseared very very moist and tasted incredible, and the salad had just the right amount of dressing! The mushroom risotto was really good(not novillhos steakhouse good) but good. Needed a little bit more seasoning but in no way did it disappoint, we ate every bite. Bill came to about $ 32 per person which included tip which I was happy to pay. Was very full and satisfied! Will visit this place again and again!!!

The Flagship Nordstrom store has recently been remodeled and is on its last leg of renovations before it will be completely done, so I highly recommend visiting the café. It has a new, open concept just like the rest of the store so there’s a lot of natural light and it has a lot of different seating options and you will never be left without a seat. For people who are first timers, it’s a really easy process. There are menus at the entrance and when you’re ready to order, go to the cashiers who will take your order and ring you up. They’ll give you your receipt and you seat yourself. A server will come to your table to pick up the order and help you with everything else. Customer service isn’t just something for when you’re on the floor shopping for clothing, the servers are great and are all about making this the most comfortable, fast dining experience. I’ve tried a variety of menu items but my favorite dish is the parmesan crusted chicken salad. The ingredients are always fresh here and food is flavorful. Even though it’s meant to be a fast, convenient place to grab a bite, it’s an upscale feel. Prices are reasonable. Tip if you’re wanting to order soup, ask to sample it. Once I was debating if I should try the soup du jour and they offered me a sample that was literally half of a cup. Not the standard sample size, but it shows that they’re really helpful!

The café has just been recently re-done(as the whole store is) and I LOVE the new café lay out! More seating and very trendy/vibey feel without being stuffy or unwelcoming. My favorite thing to do while I am shopping is stop in for a coffee and a LEMONRICOTTACOOKIE. If you don’t remember anything I say today, remember LEMONRICOTTACOOKIE. I am not kidding you they are like the best! This place is great for families || for friends || for sitting alone in a booth reading or studying.

Wowzaa… its been nearly 2+ years since I visited the Downtown location and I was stunned by how much it changed in terms of its interior. It’s no longer the soft, feeling like you’re in a friends living room for a Tuesday lunch, type of vibe. Now, it’s the modern, Northwest, welcome to Seattle, upscale setting. My first immediate thought… it feels like a Starbucks… more specifically the Tasting Room on Pike Street. Not to say it’s a bad thing… Nordstrom & Starbucks are two successful Seattle based companies hence their likeness in style makes sense. It’s almost like a story for any visitor that comes to Seattle. Get off the airplane, drive into Seattle, check out Starbucks’ Tasting Room, grab a coffee while you’re there, head over to Nordstrom for some shopping and then end the afternoon by having lunch at the café. That’s my viewpoint of it at least. Enough with the interior and how it felt… the food now. The food is always on point at the Seattle location. Clean presentation, not overly seasoned and enough variety to keep myself from getting tired. My grilled shrimp and arugula salad with polenta croûton — solid. Haven’t had a salad like that before so triple points for that. The Alderwood location… cant say the same but that’s a separate post. For a Wednesday afternoon birthday lunch for a co-worker, it was perfect. Good portions, easy atmosphere to just eat and chat, while feeling like we’re treating ourselves. Our server, Michelle was also on point which is bonus points for me. Not only does she have the same name but was on point in doing her job without overdoing it. Once again… cant say the same about the Alderwood location. That all being said — in my world where the points don’t matter, this is a solid 5 star spot for a weekday lunch. Easy seating, easy atmosphere, good food… that’s all we can ever ask for right?

Wend back today for lunch long line around noon even longer today cause of the Veterans day, a lot of teenagers and kids with their parents. Have waited about 15 – 20′ got a seat. Ordered: white bean soup, chicken sandwich, chicken Alfredo, beef steak sandwich, coffee. Coffee — awful!!! White bean soup — average Chicken sandwich — nothing special(I remember it tasted better) Chicken Alfredo — nothing special(I remember it tasted better) Beef steak sandwich — daily or weekly special — tasteless, bad, dry, brioche bun was so old or have been in the fridge right before they have served it — waste of money!!! The Staff — is always great and polite, prompt. Can’t recall servers name but he was quick and very polite. Wasn’t his fault that food tasted bad. Be aware it hit or miss place, you might get eatable food or you might end up disappointed like I did today.
