I will never set foot in this restaurant again. My family and I ate there tonight for dinner and had one of the worst restaurant experiences ever. We were seated promptly and were asked for our drink order promptly, which was quite possibly the highlight of the evening. We waited 20 minutes for the drinks to come and had to actually flag a waitress down to go find our waiter. In the meantime, a table seated about the same time as us got up and left because it was taking too long to even have the waiter stop by. Finally, our waiter comes to take the order but does not offer another round of drinks. The food comes out in a reasonable amount of time and looks decent, but after taking the first bite into my Kobe beef burger, it went all downhill. First the cook left the paper separating the cheese slices in the burger, second it was not cooked to how I ordered it and third, they did not include the bacon I had ordered. I had to send it back, 10 minutes later after our waiter finally came by again. The replacement came out fine and was brought by the manager, but without apology or even comment! The waiter apologized and did not charge us for the burger, but even that gesture would not bring me back to Gordon Biersch in Seattle, or likely any city in that matter. The service was overwhelmingly poor and even the second iteration of my meal was only marginal at best. Skip this place if it crosses your mind, even Johnny Rockets on the other side of the atrium will do a better job at service and serve equally as good food. Even Frolik on the 5th floor of the old Red Lion Hotel could do better.

When we walked in we saw a please seat yourself sign sat down and realized everyone at the bar must be 21 and over to sit there my cousin is 15 so we had to move Once we sat down we decided on what beers to try I got the golden export it was similar to a blue moon I liked it Our food was amazing I had the bbq burger and garlic fries My only complaint is the service who barely showed up to Check on our table and when it came time to pay he disappeared someone else had to run our card also where was the host to sit us if we were not allowed to sit at the bar?

Best service. Great beer. Good location. Fair prices. Had a cheese toasted sandwich and fries followed by a beer. Delicious. Service was amazing. I cannot fault this place. It is exactly what it should be but with a little more !

I came by Gordon Biersch on a Friday for happy hour with a business organization. We had a conference in the city, so it was the first opportunity to reconnect with old friends and meet new ones. Located on the fourth floor in the mall, Gordon Biersch can be a bit tricky to find if you’ve never been here before. Gordon Biersch does a fairly decent happy hour from 3 to 6:30 pm. Beers are $ 1 off and the happy hour appetizer menu is packed with good food. I ordered the BBQ Chicken Sliders, which were amazing! I had two beers. First the Czech Pilsner, which was alright. Not exactly the type of pilsner I remember when I drank my way through Prague a few years ago, but it was good for what it was. I order the Blond Bock, but the Saison showed up instead. It was good, just not what I ordered. Our server changed a couple of times, so I’m sure there was so confusion in the disorganization. Getting my check was also tough because of that mess. Also to note, Gordon Biersch has a very strict policy about who can be in the bar area. Even if you’re not drinking you need to produce a valid ID(that is also not expired) otherwise you’ll be booted from the bar area.

Went here with a group of friends before a concert and the food was not bad. It wasn’t a home run. For a $ 12 burger I expect to be kind of blown away. Dicks burgers has more character than these and they are $ 2.50 Nice size patty but wow that’s a huge bun. I took the top bun off because it was like a loaf of bread on top. Even the bottom part was thick. I ended up eating only about half of that. I think everyone else around me wasn’t blown away. It wasn’t horrible. Kind of reminded me of an old flakey jakes but with beer. We were all starving and trying to wolf something down before a show. For 7 escalators it seemed to get to the top… not sure it was worth the journey. Service was good. Beer looked good. The burger just didn’t blow me away and I kind of had high hopes for $ 12.

This is a standard brewpub. Atmosphere was lively without being too loud. Good for big groups! I went here for a work dinner. The food was nothing special, but hard to go wrong too. All in all this was a decent venue for a big company dinner. There was something for everyone, just don’t hope to be delighted. We got a bunch of appetizers: The Blue Crab & Artichoke Dip was really creamy and paired well with the crispy flatbread chips. The portion size was big. The Southwest Egg Rolls were delicious, crunchy on the outside and loaded with flavorful fillings. There were only four big pieces in the order, making it less ideal for sharing The Charcuterie & Brie board was lackluster. The meats were pretty nondescript, and there was only a tiny square of cheese. The Asian Chicken Bites were far from crispy as described — more like soggy from the sauce. The sauce had a simple flavor profile — mostly sweet with a hint of lemon. The calamari was not crispy enough for my liking, and timidly seasoned. Nondescript dish. I ordered the Linguini Primavera for my entrée. It was vegetarian. The vegetables were all cooked to just the right texture and complemented the pasta nicely. The pasta was well seasoned and had a great flavor! The chunks of feta made the dish pop. I enjoyed my entrée more than my dining companions who ordered the Steak Frites. Their steaks were not flavorful nor tender, and the side salad was boring. For dessert I had the Triple chocolate brownie with caramel sauce. Again, nothing special, but hard to go wrong with this classic. It was a little too dense and heavy for me, but I can imagine someone preferring that. Service was not very attentive. Our table did not get water until we asked for it, after we had already ordered drinks and appetizers. We also had to ask for small plates after the appetizers were brought in. There were a few limitations on our orders given the large size of our group(eg. steak could only be ordered medium instead of medium rare, could not substitute the fries for a healthier alternative). This is understandable, just something to keep in mind if you’re thinking of organizing a group dinner here.

I came here with my sister and cousin. First the establishment is lovely. I have to admit that I was scared walking there when looking down and seeing how high up we were lol. Back to the restaurant. We had a very very nice waiter. My cousin ordered the triple chocolate brownie. As soon as she was going to take a bite she looked down and there were hairs on her food. We told the waiter he apologized profuse and returned very shortly with a brand new triple chocolate brownie. Very very good customer service. My sister ordered the ahi *I will add a picture of this dish* the presentation was nice and it was delicious! Seared and rare so so soooo good!!! All in all I do recommend!

Standard mall restaurant, but with slightly better food. Came here after work hoping for some beer and burgers, and I was thinking their beer would be good since they supposedly brew it themselves. The beers we got were pretty middle of the road, though, not anything to rave about, especially when you’re in Seattle, land of the bajillion delicious craft beers. I had the black and blue burger, which is your standard cheeseburger but with bacon and bleu cheese, and I was actually pretty pleased. I was kind of wary since a lot of other reviewers weren’t fans of the burgers, but it was pretty dece. I liked that they came with garlic fries, which are, as advertised, quite garlicky. Maybe pop a mint after? All in all I’m not going to be a repeat customer but it’s not bad.

Have been twice to this location and have received only moderately okay service. The food choices were interesting and unique. We only had brews, which were delicious, and appetizers so I only got to taste the Pretzel Dog and Garlic fries. The fries were okay at best but the Dogs were delicious. I will definitely be back just because of the location in the square and beer but just can’t give a ton of credit with some many great choices out there.

My office is located right next to Pacific Place. It is really easy to plan a lunch date at Gordon Biersch as the place is spacious. We were seated quickly and received waters right away. The food took longer than expected to come out. The food tastes great. As an appetizer, the three of us shared a plate of the legendary garlic fries. The scent of garlic was overwhelming. Later, I had to chew two pieces of mint gum to hide the stench on my breath. The ranch that was served with our fries was super watery and oddly bubbly. It tastes ok but it wasn’t the ranch texture I am used too. I ordered the BBQ burger. While it tastes very delicious and juicy, the juiciness was its down fall. After a few bites, the burger left a giant pool of grease and barbecue sauce on my plate. The bun became super slippery to get a good gripe. If grease pools don’t bother you, I would recommend it. I think I will stick to the California burger though. TLDR: Fairly quick lunch. Burger grease pools. Tons of garlic in fries. Need gum.

I give this review 3 stars. Not for the food but the slow service. We were way in the back and might have been forgotten. A few times. We ordered steak burgers which were a little more pink then we wanted but still very yummy. They came we garlic fries on one and sweet potato fries on the other. Also delicious. But the mustard, ketchup, and steak sauce was delivered nearly 10 minutes AFTER we got our meals! We waited a long time for our check and then an equally long time to get it processed. The server said something about the computer going down and he had to fix it. ??? Which would have been ok if he(or another server) would have let us know during our long wait that would have been much better. Lack of respect. All and all because the food was good and we didn’t have to wait long to get in the door, and it might have been just that server, we might give it another chance.

This place is not cute. «Small plate» example is one taco for $ 5. and chips with PRUNES(?) for $ 6! LOL and who knows what’s going on w the beer. This place prides itself on their beer! If you love tasting different and new brews — then this place is for you… you crafty guy. Or gal If you have a «go-to» beer then it’s probably not here. But they brought out tasters for my friend when she mentioned a beer she liked. So something to consider. That and the price… this place is a great FIRST date bar.

Well my office just moved in across the street from pacific place. For lunch today a few of us went to try Gordon’s, and we will not be back. We walked into the bar, sat down at one of the many empty tables, and sat, and sat, and sat, and sat some more. 20 minutes later we got up and left. No one acknowledged us, no one asked if we’d been helped, nothing! Servers were milling around, helping other customers, talking to each other, and playing on their phones, but were far too busy to even acknowledge a table of people who had no menus. I can’t comment on anything, because we didn’t have the chance to experience this place at all. Very very disappointing. I’m not going to be going back here. Don’t waste your time in this place.

This is a pretty standard Gordon Biercsch, located at the top of the Pacific Mall. They offer very standard brewpub food, and not a big selection of beers(lots of question marks — isn’t this a brewery?!) * Lobster-Shrimp Bow Tie Mac n Cheese — 2 stars: This sounded like a great dish but the components and the sauce ruined it. The lobster had a weird, fishy taste; shrimp was good. The sauce in this dish was just over the top rich. * Brat on Pretzel Bun — 3.5 stars: Good for sharing and pretty tasty; essentially three mini hot dogs covered in sauce. * Stout — 3.5 stars: Standard. The menu is extensive and caters to groups with varied dietary restrictions. Like with most nationwide chains, it also includes nutritional information. The bar seating was open and easily accommodated 15 of us without reservations on a Thursday after work. Food and service were slow, but I liked that our waitress was friendly. Overall, a decent place for a group work gathering but I was not a fan of the food or beer.

Good house-made beer selection with some interesting options. I wavered between a 3 — 4 on this as the food wasn’t great, but after 2 tries, yeah I’d eat there again. Bartender Gabriel made the visit great the first time, service in the restaurant was pretty bad the second time, but they were short-handed. BEER: I ordered the Saison and was really surprised by how hoppy it was — like hit you in the face hoppy. I said this to the bartender and he gave me a taste of the Hoppy Wheat which was actually MORE like a traditional Saison than the Saison. I really thought he had the tap handles reversed, but he said that’s normal. We then had small tastes of all of the other beers on tap — all lagers that they tweak in some cases to imitate other styles so they have the light crispness of the lager but with characteristics of others. My favorites were the brown lager and the festbier. FOOD: Seafood Cobb salad was HUGE and very flavorful. Burger and fries were good, nothing special. Salmon was good, but not great. Our nephews(5 and 6 yr old) said the macaroni and cheese was the best ever. :)

The happy hour menu is pretty dang good. We ordered three apps and a beer for just $ 25. We were also surprised on the size of the items. The cheese pizza was huge for being on the happy hour menu, and tasted pretty good as well. The garlic fries almost made me feel like I was at Safeco and the brat sliders were as delicious as they sound. Would definitely stop again for HH if we’re around Pacific Place.

OK. This is supposed to be the beer place and really sub-standard foods. Well, the recent Oktoberfes theme is working! I got the presto and sausage plate. That was very nice. The deep fried shrimp was crunchy and good. The crab cakes were so so, adding the Risotto into the crab cake balls was probably a mistake. Adding too much cheese in them was definitely a mistake. The«Festbier» carries a bit sweetness and was easy to drink.

The food is an average place for hanging out. It is not something I will recommend if you’re hungry because of the serving size and the price. The staff, they are very friendly but the food I wasn’t too impressed.

Meh. My husband and I wanted to check out their flight of beers and maybe catch dessert. We were immediately seated by a friendly young lady. She asked us for our seating preference and we just went with the bar. It was actually more like sitting by the kitchen. I ordered the flight while my husband used the restroom, and that flight of beers took forever. It was like catching a flight at Chicago O’ Hare. She would pass by and say«‘ll have that flight for you!» Twenty minutes and 2 promises of beer later, my husband finally got his flight of beers. When they arrived they weren’t even on a paddle so it was just a bunch of little cups everywhere. Personally one of the small joys of beer tasting is having them neatly and orderly placed in front of me but oh well. The beers themselves were ok. I couldn’t really find one that I liked. The hefeweizen had a very clovey after taste and I think it overpowered all the other flavors. The dunkel on the other hand had a. Ice malty after taste. So while I didn’t like the first sip, the after taste was pretty nice. I finally gave in and tried a Kamikaze from here. Yes I know I am in a brewery but if you know me by know you’ll know I like me a good Kamikaze and this one was on point! I definitely enjoyed it. The 3 stars you wonder? Well, I honestly felt we were forgotten and our waitress would make promises of things and would not come with them for a good little while. She also seemed annoyed that we didn’t order appetizer or dessert. Atleast we sat up at the so called«bar» and we had expressed our intentions very early on. Still worth checking out after some shopping or before a movie.

I’ve enjoyed this stop at Gordon’s. The 14oz ribeye steak with garlic fries was awesome. The service was very friendly and overall it was a good evening.
