Fiancé chose to go to Boiling Point for dinner tonight. We arrived at 8:54 and was seated by 9:15. The first thing I noticed about the restaurant was the smell. It smelled like B.O. but you do get used to it. After looking over the menu, it looks like the stinky tofu dish is what is responsible for the odor. Tables are insanely small and crammed together. The experience of having a steaming hot bowl of soup filled to the brim on a really small table with barely any elbow space is not very pleasant. The table could barely fit the soup and the small of bowl of rice. It was awkward trying to maneuver around the table, trying to get sauces or even just a drink of water. My fiancé got the Japanese miso and I got the curry fish balls. I ordered the second to highest spice level and it wasn’t spicy enough, so if you like spicy, get the flaming hot. I liked the flavor enough that I didn’t get bored of it like I usually do when I eat hot pot. I also waited for the egg to cook a bit before scooping it up and putting it on my rice. Runny yolk on rice — yum! Way better than breaking it in the soup. My fiancé’s soup had crab in it but it was really small and not worth the effort to crack it open. I’m not sure if I would come here again. For personal hot pots, I would rather go to Swish Swish in Bellevue.

This place is perfect if you’re looking to satisfy your hotpot cravings. The menu contains assorted flavors of soup from diff asian cultures! My favorites are 1) curry fish ball, 2) thai style soup(bigger pot), and 3) Korean bean paste. My boyfriend and I always share one pot and order extra sides. They have a huge variety of sides. Staples that we get are cracked egg in soup, lamb slices, fish balls(my favorite!!), and quail eggs. I also recommend the hokkaido bubble tea to go with your meal! It’s a nice fresh creamy tea that counters all the hot and spicyness of the soup. Cozy environment, delicious hotpot, friendly service! 5⁄5 stars!

Soups here come in big portions. Very hearty for a hangover or cold! :p I usually share one soup with another person because you can ask to refill the broth when it gets low for no charge(kind of a secret). The wait sucks at lunch and dinner time so make sure you have your full party or they will not be able to seat you. Gave this a 3 stars because the workers here have given me tons of attitude.

I frequent this location about one to two times a week and have no plans on stopping soon :) I come here with my bf every week and we always see our favorite server, Richard, who is extremely friendly and always upbeat! He remembers our orders and makes sure to give us empty bowls with our rice, which we always request. Richard also speaks perfect English which is a plus considering sometimes the other staff members don’t always completely understand what I want. Service is always quick and food is always consistently good! BP also now has bigger size cups for bubble tea which is a plus :)

After all the raves of Boiling Point in California, I decided visiting BP in Seattle would be a great idea to finally try out the Taiwanese hot pots. — The stinky tofu was disappointing. The pictures looked like they were fried tofu, but it was steamed and not what we were expecting — Taiwanese hot pot — only comes in FLAMINGSPICY. Only those who can brave the spice should order this. Overall, really good, but REALLYSPICY! — Japanese miso hot pot — ordered this in spice level medium and it was perfect! Broth was delicious. — Milk tea was sweet and delicious and their boba was soft and chewy(but pricey… 75 cents for boba??!) & when my mouth was on fire, thank you milk tea for being there! Overall, really enjoyed BP! Large menu, fast service and good hot pot!

BP is one of my favorite restaurants in Seattle! The wait is typically not too long if it’s busy and service is wonderfully attentive for such a popular place. My usual order is the Miso Hotpot and I just HAVE to get a green tea macaroon ice cream sandwich every time! Both are so wonderfully made, even if the macaroon ice cream sandwiches can be a bit hard to chew since they are frozen so well. I also love how they serve you iced tea, which is sooo refreshing and goes along so well with the meal.

Simple, quick and flavorful. Basic menu with various soup bases — Miso, kimchi, curry, beef, etc. Each soup comes with assorted meats/veggies/noodles depending on which style you choose. Prices are reasonable, $ 11.99 at lunch time for their basic options and a few bucks more for their specialty ones. Not too shabby.

Been here numerous time, and I enjoyed it every single time! I also order the Japanese miso very spicy because I always tend to gravitate back to the very first one I ordered. Although I have also tried others, miso will always hold a special place in my heart. The curry one has a very nice flavor profile which I enjoyed, seafood & tofu one not so much… This place does get busy around dinner time, so expect to wait around 20 mins(I usually walk around uwajimaya haha). But the steaming hot pot is worth the wait. I try to come around the lunch time because each hot pot ordered comes with a free choice of black ice or green tea.(green tea is the best!) their selection of milk tea is good as well, but I really like green milk tea! the old time delight and Hokkaido milk tea is kinda thick, but delicious as well(if you prefer watery drinks go for green milk tea). Overall, recommended! I wanted to try the Taiwanese hot pot but I’m intimidated by the spiciness. Maybe one day when I try the miso one at the super spice level, I’ll grow some balls and try the Taiwanese one :)

If you like hot pot this is definitely a place to try! Unlike the traditional hotspot, BP prepares all the ingredients for you and brings it out in a pot. You’re allowed to choose the level of spice for your soup base, but if you’re like me and will tear up from spicy food i would stay away haha. I got the Miso hot soup and loved it! We were also given complimentary desert, which I unfortunately still have no clue what it was BUT it was very delicious! The wait isn’t too bad(~20 minutes on a weekend evening) and they have great customer service. Our food was ready for us soon after we ordered. 10⁄10 recommend for all your foodies out here!

Around the Seattle area I’d say that good hot pot is a rarity, and Boiling Point does it really well. The service is somewhat slow because it’s almost always busy; to their credit though, I came on a Saturday night and the wait time for two was 20 minutes — not bad. I had the beef hot soup which I’d recommend to anyone going but not adventurous enough to try the seafood or spicy bowls. I ordered a mild flavor(I think a 1⁄5 on their spicy scale) and it was tolerably flavorful. The broth was rich and really salty but the items in it balanced it out(corn, rice on the side, etc.) Would definitely recommend BP! The environment is busy and energetic.

This place is always busy, especially around dinner time. The quality of food is ok, but its a go to kinda place if you’re craving for spicy taiwanese soup– which is what I usually get esp. during winter. YUM! But take note that that only comes in Flaming hot spicy flavor. If you’re an adventurous eater. id recommend the stinky tofu(fermented tofu). I give this a 3 star because i think this place is not very consistent with the quality of food they offer, i think they would rather serve fast than ensure the food quality.(Which i dont really mind)

This is one of our favorite fast casual restaurants. We used to have a favorite all-you-can-eat hot pot place in the ID, but after discovering this place when this location first opened, we don’t go anywhere else. Here’s a few tips: — Come early around 5 or 5:30. Otherwise, be prepared to wait(write your name and number of your party down on a list near the register). — Park in the Uwaijimaya parking lot and get your parking validated for free(2 hours)! — I love the #4 beef hot pot. I order an extra side of sliced beef, medium spicy — The fresh milk tea is not only delicious but also helps to calm the spiciness! — I like slurping on the leftover soup after I eat up all the food. Enjoy!

Resteraunt was very busy so plan on waiting for a little bit. Parking is available next door for a fee. We had the spicy hot pot with lamb, tofu, fish balls, lobster balls and chicken. Flavor was nice and the heat was above average. We added in bok choy and had the side of rice. I would say for what you get the wait may not be worth it, you can find similar resteraunts in China town with comparable food options.

Some friends I used to work with at a hot pot restaurant in New York came to visit Seattle and suggested we get some Taiwanese hot pot. Apparently, everyone else had the same idea that night. The line’s long, the place is a little loud, but, overall, the restaurant and service is pretty American-oriented. I got the veg pot, my friend got the seafood, and the others in our group got the miso, beef, and thai pots. I kind of regretted getting the veg, because it seemed like less food from everyone else’s. My friend’s seafood pot was awesome, though with shrimp, octopus, a huge slice of pork, an egg, and other bits. The miso pot looked really good, with ramen and lots of tofu skin. The thai one also looked good, with lots of variety. If you can eat wheat noodles, you’ll have a harder time choosing your pot than I did. While good, I thought it lacked flavor, though the 3 spicy was pretty spot-on. Each pot comes with a bowl of rice, which is pretty sweet, and you can get refills on broth. We all got Hokkaido milk teas, and I ordered mine without sugar, thinking it would be like almost any other Hokkaido I’ve gotten(too sweet), but Boiling Point caters to more Asian customers, I think, so their sugar usage is more tempered. I didn’t get boba, and good thing since they ended up charging my friends 75c per cup for tapioca. Guess we know where they’re making money! Overall, I thought the meal was pretty expensive for the amount of food(I left still wanting something else — and said I could have eaten another pot when a scrumptious-looking one walked by attached to a server as we paid). The milk tea was good, and I’d like to try it with sugar. The desserts look good, too, but we didn’t try any. Wish there had been a kimchi pot, oh well!

Was extremely excited when my boyfriend surprised me with lunch here. I usually go to boiling point in California but for some reason I didn’t think to check if Washington had any… And they do!!! Was surprised there was no wait when we came in about 11:15 ish. Maybe this location isn’t as busy as California ones? Anywho excited that we got seated and served right away. Ordered my usual Tawaiianese Hot pot and its the same taste as always. Love that they have consistency(: The service was eh… Not the most amazing because I feel like there’s a language barrier but I got what I wanted so I can’t complain. A major plus for this boiling point over the other ones is that when you order extra beef, it comes out raw and you get to cook it in your hot soup versus the California ones where they bring you out a plate of cooked meat. Definitely would recommend this place!

Environment: Clean and simple. Nothing fancy. They have a bunch of booths and lots of window seating. I take my friends here all the time and they are always blown away by the food if it’s their first time visiting. Quality of food: This is place is like phở 2.0. I love phở but sometimes, you just need to mix it up. This place has lots of different flavors and the lunch comes with green or back iced tea. So good. I get the hot beef soup on a regular basis. Quality of service: Excellent. People are friendly and the food comes out relatively quickly. If you haven’t tried this place yet, make sure it’s the next place you check out when you’re feeling hungry!

Immediately noticed two things… The line and the smell. Wow, be prepared to wait, and make sure you wait inside to allow yourself to get used to the smell. It’s overwhelming at first but don’t let this turn you away! Push through, the best is yet to come! We put our names on the waiting list and waited about 30 mins for a seat… Our server was prompt, fun, and more than helpful! Seriously everyone that came to our table was engaging and happy to go above and beyond expectation. The menu is straight and to the point, you have options. I stuck to the meat option(and added and egg!) as this was my first time at hot pot. I didn’t want to get an adventurous one on the first time around. The hot pot comes out with a bowl of rice and they light the candle underneath it! This is where the fun begins! The soup heats up quick!(Be careful, it is HOT) they also don’t mess around with spice so don’t get too brave! As the soup heats the flavors mix around and create a heavenly taste!(You can add ramen noodles too!) I loved this experience, well worth the wait! I will definitely be back to try new flavors! This place rocks! The snow cubes were eh. Don’t waste your dessert space. Go for the macaron ice cream sandwiches. To. Die. For.

My friend and I came here on a chilly day, and it was great for the weather. The lunch menu is pretty big, and it comes with a sweetened iced green or black tea! I don’t typically drink my teas with added sugar, but it was good. I mean, they added sugar — why wouldn’t it be good right? Haha. The portion was decent for lunch. I got the curry fish ball/I wish it had more curry flavor, but it came with a lot of stuff — meat, veggies, clear noodles, and an egg. There’s even a bowl of rice on the side! You can add more things like udon noodles. It was also priced reasonably well. The service was decent. Though, it wasn’t fast enough for an hour lunch. My friend had to leave to go back to work while I waited for the check.

I’ve been here to this location a couple times and there is usually always a 20+ min wait even if you are only with one other person. I suggest coming during lunch because the food is cheaper and you get iced tea drink for free and less wait time! The snow cubes and the macaroons are not worth it. So small and yet they are $ 4.5?! My favorite is the miso and the kimchee hotpot! But this is not a place to come for a bday party or in big groups. Very limited in seating and often you feel rushed to finish you food.

I dread the customer service here. Sometimes the wait can be pretty long during dinner time. But happy hour during lunch time is always nice, they give you a free drink(green tea or black tea). They’re right next to uwajimaya so parking is pretty convenient because there’s a parking lot and all parking garage. Their hot pot is pretty good, their macaron is bit over hyped, over priced, nothing great about it. They’re supposed to give you wet towelettes after your meal but most of the time they forget. Their table for two people are way too small. Especially if you order extra meat, noodles, etc. there just simply not enough room. I would give this place 5 stars if customer service was better and the table for two was larger.
