I’ve been here a few times, it’s always been really overpriced but I live a block away so. Today I got what I usually get(garlic chicken) and the portion had literally been cut in half since previous times, making the prices absolutely unreasonable. I also ordered an 8oz cooks champagne which came to $ 7.(Wtf.) Which I spilled anyways to the cashiers serious dismay. Instead of coming here, go buy all the ingredients in bulk and make the meal 8 times over for yourself for the exact same price, problems solved.

This place has really grown on me. Awesome staff with wonderful traditional street food. Totally worth it $$. If you haven’t tried this place you’re missing out. It’s something special. Oh and they have Happy Hour now. Game on.

I will never go back here. Ordered a dish with beef. It was rancid. Really bad. Took one bite and couldn’t eat it. So horrible. I would avoid this place. No apology either. They did give us a new dish(not beef) but not one word to say they were sorry for the HORRIBLE taste it left In my mouth for hours!

This is my favoeite Thai restaurant in Lloyd District so far. The food is great, fresh ingredients and nice portions. The service is good. Everyone smiles and seems glad to be there. The delivery is quick, but we only live a few blocks away. The restaurant is basic, though, with no real ambience. It is more for lunch than dinner. I like the fresh rolls, yellow curry, chicken noodle soup, and sticky rice with mango.

Got pad thai and the flavor and noodles were good, but there was very little meat or vegetables. Just the noodles.

If I could give half stars, it would be a 3 ½. You gotta love the value of the lunch special at $ 7.95 for an appetizer and hearty portioned main dish! This is reason enough to come here once in awhile. I wanted the khao soi, but it wasn’t a thrifty choice for $ 10.95 given the lunch option. The spring rolls that came with the lunch special were fresh and delicious. I really liked the dipping sauce as well. Unfortunately, the pad see ew I ordered was a mixed bag. The broccoli was fresh, but the chicken was tough. Noodles checked out, but the flavor was lacking throughout the dish. It’s also a little sad to write that the service was lackluster. The food came out fast and fresh, but the woman at the register had a seriously flat affect. When another customer entered, she got up and slumped to the register. It appeared painful for her to take a customer order and made for an uncomfortable experience.

Chicken Pad Thai is my go to choose, paired with a couple of crab puffs, and some Thai tea? makes for a good quick lunch for right around $ 10!

In Portland on business and had to find something close to the hotel and came across this restaurant. I would not return here unless I was only coming for the dessert. 1) shrimp red curry — 5 to 6 pieces of shrimp in the typical red curry sauce. Nothing special here. I did not like the rice which was way overcooked(I was the last customer prior to closing so the rice may have been sitting for a long time?). They also placed the rice on the same plate as the curry instead of in a separate bowl. I prefer to have the rice separately so I can determine how much sauce to add to it. I ended up just just picking out and eating only the shrimp. 2) chicken pad see ew — noodles were overcooked and most of them were stuck together. 3) mango sticky rice — finally… the rice was not overcooked! Flavor of coconut milk was good with the chewy rice but mango was not ripe. Ate all of the mango anyway since I was still hungry from not eating the other dishes.

This place is close to my work and the pricing is fantastic for their lunch specials. $ 7.95 for an entrée and a pick of three sides, yeah, totally worth it. Plus, they have Thai Iced Tea, which I absolutely am addicted to. Haven’t eating in, only gotten take out and delivery, the restaurant is cute, and clean. One word of advice, I called for take out, they said my order would be done in 15 minutes, ordered delivery, it took an hour. So, long story short, save money and time and just go pick it up yourself.

This is a review by a vegetarian Pretty decent wok lunch spot. $ 7.95 for an entrée, choice of protein, plus one of three apps. CCs only for $ 8 or more so bring cash, bring a friend, or order a drink. Not quite enough sear on the rice noodles for 4 stars. Clean, fast, and hot though. Cute how they use whole onions to weigh down the menus on the couple of outside tables next to the parking spaces in the mini-strip mall.

The pork hock thing and the fried chicken are supper yum. Not thrilled with the Pad Thai. It was OK. The mango thing is good, but overpriced. One of the few decent delivery options for Thai!

Never had a bad experience. Food is amazing and they deliver to NW! I think this is my 5th time ordering from them this month. The driver even called me 20 minutes before they were supposed to be there to let me know he may be delayed by a couple minutes due to the busyness. He showed up five minutes early and had a smile on his face! Really like the spice level realness :)

Ordered takeout from Mai Thai, but they routed us to their other location, Taste of Bangkok, as they were apparently closed. They offered us free delivery, so we took it. My friend got the tofu pra ram, which seemed fresh and she said was tasty, However, my shrimp Pad Thai was so awful, by the second bite, I had pushed my plate away. It was mildly spicy, but did not taste of the classic Thai spices at all. It had none of the flavors of basil and kaffir and chilli pepper, and no tamarind or palm sugar. It just tasted sort of peppery and left such a bad taste in my mouth, I had to get rid of it with mouthfuls of white rice. The texture was gummy, and the whole dish pretty much stuck together in one big glob. Worst Pad Thai, hands down, I’ve had in Portland.

Best thing that happened q last night was Mashito Bento being closed at 8pm. I went next door and ordered my favorite Pad Kee Mao. It was very tasty. The others in my party were equally happy. I will happily drive from Alberta arts district here anytime Thai taste buds call.

Delicious food in a clean modern store front in an otherwise nondescript strip mall. It’s a little spendy for lunch but I think it’s on par with some of the really popular food carts with Asian foods.

Ordered Pad Thai and Chow Mein because the lady on the phone had a real hard time taking our order. This wouldn’t usually be what I order, but either we didn’t have a good phone connection or my Thai is so bad that she couldn’t understand me. Anyway, the pad thai was fine. A little sweet and greasy. Chow Mein had a lot of veggies in it. She then said we needed to order more food to have them deliver, so we got an order of fresh spring rolls. They were fine. Nothing to write home about. All in all, it was fine… not good… just fine.

After asking numerous people about where to find a good Thai restaurant and getting the same response«pok pok noi» I decided to venture out. I was staying at the Crowne Plaza in on NE Weller and decided to walk to soak in the Portland scenery. Unfortunately it started to rain as I was trying to get to Pok Pok Noi and I stumbled across this place instead. They have lunch specials from 11am-3pm which include your choice of Padt Thai, Padt Kee Mao, Yellow Curry, Red Curry, Padt Cashew(whatever that is), and Orange Chicken. You also get to choose between an egg roll, crispy wonton or Fresh Eggroll. Lunch Specials are $ 7.95. I worked at a Thai restaurant for about 7 years and one of my best friends is Thai. I know good Thai when I have it. Take my recommendation and eat next door at Mashita Teriyaki instead!!!
