Favorite place to get donuts, ice cream and gelato! Fresh! Delicious classic flavors, takes a next level to take on Salt n Straw’s flavor portfolio! Somehow they manage it here at Stacatto. Will be back and bringing more friends!

Sooo yummy, definitely some of the best gelato I’ve ever had. I had a scoop of the Malted Banana Graham and Chai on a cake cone. The banana tasted super authentic and fresh. The chai was amazing, both super good quality and not over sugary. Fairly good portion for $ 3! Definitely will be coming back.

Flavors were much better, quality was better, the entire experience was better. Service was not good.

This place is cutesy and fun and has great product. The pistachio gelato is the most flavorful pistachio flavored thing I’ve ever eaten, and in a good way. Paired with the Marionberry, I was totally satisfied in my pursuit of a little sweetness. The house coffee is good, but that’s to be expected of any local place that wants to stay in business in the PNW. Service is good and the seating is comfy; I’ll have to pop in the next time I’m in the neighborhood.

I really like Gelato, I also like this bright and friendly little shop. Somehow though this has never been a favorite spot for me. The flavors, for my taste, fall a bit short of some of the others. That said, it is good, and has a great location. I most recently came with a friend who’s criteria for a good gelato shop is they have lemon. She prefers Sorbeto and they had that, she was happy. Very happy. She had the biggest bowl they have all of lemon… I had a small bowl half strawberry lemonade and half orange. The orange was the better of the two but both were good. I’m sure I will be back. The location is easy to get to. Maybe I just need to come more to figure out my favorite flavors?

I’ll make this brief and to the point: Come here. Have the gelato; it’s f*cking amazing. My guy and I were walking home from Laurelhurst Theatre last night and I talked him into stopping in here on the way. He said he didn’t want anything; he was full from whatever we shoveled into our mouths at the movies. Cool, I thought; I’ll get the flavor I want. I didn’t intend to get chocolate, but a ton of people came in and the pressure got to me, so I ordered basic chocolate in the«not a lot» size, which I think is 1 – 2 scoops. I paid my $ 3(SUPER friendly on the ol’ wallet!) and off we went. I wasn’t expecting much, I mean, it’s chocolate; so basic and predictable. The little scoopy thing delivered the gelato into my mouth and my world was rocked. OH. MYGOD. That basic chocolate was so damn good. The stupid smile I had on my face while walking home was ridiculous and my «not hungry, not having any» boyfriend had some and was trying to steal it from me. I tried and failed to regulate. In the end, the little cup was just enough and we both couldn’t shut up about it. I can’t wait to try their other flavors! You need to check this place out. You’re welcome in advance.

Their gelato is exceptional. All of their flavors taste exactly as you’d imagine. No fruit flavors that just taste like«candy strawberry» or «candy mango». You take a bite and it tastes like a juicy piece of fruit! Their donuts are yummy too :) All three times I’ve gone the employees have been very friendly and helpful. To those complaining about the price, they have pretty standard prices for specialty desserts. And in my opinion it’s very well worth the price. If you wanna be cheap go to baskin robbins – you get what you pay for.

The GOOD! 1. Amazing Gelato and flavors! Really really good. 2. The price was great! I got 1 way too much and 2 not so much and a doughnut. A little over $ 10. 3. The atmosphere was very comfortable. We stayed for about an hour. The BAD! None.

I wanted to give this place another chance and have been back a couple of times since my negative experiences. Both times the staff was courteous and the portions more generously sized than before. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back again.

Traffic was bad on Halloween. It was raining and we had been running a lot of errands. Our reward, we told ourselves, would be to stop by Staccato Gelato for an Affogato. It took us 20 minutes to drive over there. Their website says they are open from 8 am until 11 pm on Saturdays. But when we arrived, the sign on the door said«CLOSEDFORHALLOWEEN». Huh? Firstly, who closes on Halloween? Secondly, you would think that they might post this on their website. Not going back.

Got the Thai tea and honey lavender. Very creamy which I love, not overly sweet do that’s always a plus. I didn’t get 5 stars just cause it wasn’t blow me away or out of the ordinary. I probably wouldn’t go out of the way but for the price and I’d you live or pass by this is a solid choice

Staccato Gelato is the very first gelato place I ever went to about ten years ago.(At the time, I wasn’t even sure what«gelato» was and how it differed from ice cream. So, of course, I Googled it.. .and now I understand.) They offer many classic and specialty flavors, as well as seasonal selections made with whatever fresh fruit is in season at the time. Over the years, I’ve tried lots of different flavors there, and most of them have been wonderful. Personally, I really like and appreciate their version of coconut though. I’ve tried coconut flavor at many different gelato, frozen yogurt, and ice cream places, and I like Staccato Gelato’s the best.. .it tastes sweet and coconuttiest. They also have coffee, espresso and donuts for those who are not gelato minded. Their seating area is pretty comfy with a sofa, several tables, and free wifi so you can stick around for awhile if you’d like while you enjoy your treats.

Staccato Gelato is our go-to gelato place and yet… I’m reducing my star ranking to 3 stars. The flavors just don’t seem as strong anymore. The place is often really understaffed. And the employees can be snarky. So, yeah, it’s fine. But not great. Not anymore.

Very good gelato. I love their sizes and the option to get multiple flavors. For under $ 4, we chose the 3 scoop option. Yes, it’s a moderate sized scoop compared to other places, but you can tell it’s made with high quality ingredients and the portions are actually just right. We tried a few flavors, including honey lavender, chocolate, root beer, tiramisu and salted caramel. They were all amazing. My favorite was honey lavender, perfect combination. The shop also sells donuts, coffee, lattes, iced tea and lemonade. We had the lemonade and it was perfect on a hot day. The man behind the counter had great customer service. We also used a Chinook coupon which got us a free gelato!

Been here twice and both times I really enjoyed their gelato. Flavor selection seems to change a bit but all four flavors I’ve tried to date were awesome. Customer service isn’t outstanding but nothing really worth complaining about. The donut hole I tried was just okay, so I’d stick to the gelato, it’s really good.

Pretty tasty gelato. BUT otherwise SG is stingy! For paying $ 3.00 for the Not-A-Lot(2 scoops)… the amount was RIDICULOUS. My advice to SG– fill the cup. and until you swap out the melon scooper for a decent size. I’m not coming back. Check out any other ice cream local. They certainly know the value of a dollar and will give u your money’s worth.

UPDATE: More visits and I’m warming to the flavors! Added star! Donuts tasting great and a steal! Not sure if I just love gelato or Staccato’s gelato makes it better. Interesting flavors helps. The family-friendly vibe is refreshing but the place could use more creative spacing. Something for non-gelato visitors too(donuts, expresso) although donuts we tried(glazed chocolate, powdered sugar) were nothing special.

Came here on a Saturday evening. Ordered the«a lot» size with cookies and cream, thin mint, berry, and pistachio. The gelato was delicious. The reason for the two star review; customer service. The girl behind the counter had an attitude. So what, we wanted to try the flavors? Is that a crime? No, it’s not. Chill out next time. Don’t ever ask your customers once they’re done ordering«is that it»? Yeah, that’s it. There goes your tip too.

My partner and I were staying across the street from here and my partner has the biggest sweet-tooth, so coming here was a no-brainer. The first thing i noticed was that the store had a lot of toddlers and there was even a whole play area dedicated to kids. This is great for parents, but makes for poor place to enjoy ice-cream if you don’t have little ones. The second thing I noticed was the lack of manners from the girl serving us. As mentioned in several reviews already(e.g. see Aimee L.) this girl does not seem to understand the concept of customer service. After ordering gelato, i asked if we can get a donut also. She dryly replied: «No.» She obviously ended up selling us the donut(which by the way was just okay — cakey and dry like the server). BOTTOMLINE: Gelato is good. But have you really ever had bad gelato? I would not return because I was really put off by the service. Also, SKIP the donuts, not their specialty.

After a really good sandwich, I had to walk it off and somehow ended up eating fresh gelato. My gosh did I find a good place. Gelato that is made in house and the flavors vary all the time. Who makes rhubarb? They do. They had an incredible pistachio, a salted caramel and several other flavors that looked amazing. The sizes are good with only $ 3.00 for two small scoops or $ 3.75 for three and a four scoop option, waffle cones or sundaes. They can even do gelato cakes, if you order in advance. I opted for chocolate, pistachio and key lime. The key lime had graham cracker crumbles and just a great lime flavor to it. The chocolate was rich, dark and creamy. The pistachio reminded me of tortoni desserts I used to eat growing up going to the Italian restaurants. Yes, I know tortonis are almond flavor but that is what it brought me back to. It was all delicious and satisfying. I now have yet another place I want to take my kiddo to when she comes for the summer. With a small grouping of good restaurants in the immediate area, this is a great place to end up after a good meal at Tabla, City State or Beaulahland. They also sell a small assortment of cookies, donut holes and some chocolate. Enjoy.
