This one man operation had an encouraging question when I specified my standard shawarma order (beef no onions): «How about COOKED ONION?»
«Well OK then!»
He griddled beef and aforementioned onion to start, then added diced cabbage and tomato and asked me whether I wanted hummus and spicy sauce (yes to both!).
Wrapped it up in a real flatbread (sadly, untoasted) pita and delivered the object as you see in my pic. It was … Pretty good. Not great. Points subtracted for several chunks of gristle in the meat, but points regained for the customization options, cinnamon infusion on the meat, and tasty sauce.
3.5 stars.

It’s ok. Not great not terrible. Prices are very reasonable and the owner is nice. He gave us samples of hummus.
