Random stop for a quick lunch while visiting Portland for business. Fast service but more importantly, amazing Thai food. I had the pad see ew with beef and it was so good! The veggies were slightly charred from the wok, noodles were the perfect bite, beef was tender and spice was just right. My colleague had basil chicken– I tried a little and it was fantastic, beautiful basil flavor with bright fresh veggies and chicken. $ 14 for 2 entrees &2 sodas.

Super friendly guy working. Loved the food. You can taste all the fresh ingredients, too! We got the chicken pad Thai and coconut shrimp. Both were on point!

Super yummy chicken Panang. Tidy portion, $ 7 is a fair price, would definitely eat here again.

Love love love this place. I’ve lived in Thailand and their green curry is just as great. This place is a once a week must for me.

Friendly service. Tasty food. Decent portions. $ 7 is a very reasonable price for all entrées. I had Pad Thai with Tofu. There could have been a bit more tofu in it… But I find that’s true everywhere I’ve ever ordered Thai food. I generally request«extra tofu», but didn’t this time. The Thai Iced Tea was delicious($ 2). They were open past 8pm on the Saturday night when I was there. Unilocal indicates that they close at 6pm, so maybe hours vary, or have been changed. My suggestion for an addition to the menu would be to offer peanut sauce, even just as a side. I love peanut sauce! :)

For $ 7 a plate you get a nice portion and it’s delicious! The garlic Thai basil with chicken was very very good. Lots of veggies and chicken. We also had the yakisoba noodles that were also very good we just would have liked more sauce on them. Overall a great experience. We will be back!

Out of curiosity I checked Unilocal after ordering my food at the cart and got really scared when I saw one of the reviews said the food made them sick! Thankfully this was not true for us and the food was really great! Back home it’s $ 13 for similar take out Thai so I thought it was a great deal at $ 7! The only thing that took away a star was that my Coke can was dirty on the top but I just grabbed a straw for another cart and was content.

What a great place to eat after you’ve walked up and down the streets of Portland. I ordered a Thai tea and Oh geez, doe 2 dollars? That must have been the best tasting Thai tea I’ve ever had. Prices are good, yes. And the lady there is super sweet and called me honey, so I’m guessing the name of the place was named by her. :D Pineapple fried rice is like an array of flavors in your mouth. And the coconut shrimp mmm. I guess I just love Thai food though, and I’ve had a lot so it wasn’t the Best of the best but def considerable will be back again, thanks for the great service.

Visited from San Francisco. Food here is comparable or even better than some sit-down restaurants where I’m from. I’m not picky, and you should know that what you see is what you get. Enjoyed chatting with the lady while learning a bit about her history. Perhaps she put more love into our food. It was fun seeing her watch us enjoy her food.

Let me tell you something. The food tastes good. And I don’t know if it was because it was after a 9 mile hike or what, but it was good. NOW, let me tell you, one hour later, my friend and I were both terribly sick. This stuff is definitely dunked in a ton of MSG or something. I won’t go into detail about the symptoms but trust me on this. They need to change their cooking style and ingredients…

Ran into this place while running errands. Fast service, friendly couple, fresh veggies. solid 3 – 3.5 stars for the food itself. Nothing earth shattering but pretty enjoyable food.
