Sport Clips

I moved from Dublin to Walnut Creek, and left my regular Sport Clips after a couple of years. I started coming here about 6 months ago and had to switch from my regular stylist, which I hate doing. In general I like this location a lot more. They are never so busy that the wait has been too long, and I found my stylist of choice real quick!
Chelle is great. What sets her apart is she takes the time to make sure she understands how you want it cut and doesn’t rush. I have sensitive skin, so she has recommend products that work great, and take care when cutting and using the clippers.
I haven’t worked with anyone else, but the stylists all seem to have regulars, and that’s a great sign.
Lastly, get the MVP, it’s the perfect end to a good cut.

Great staff! I had Chelle cut my hair and she was extremely polite and gave me a great haircut! The team leader Ben is also very courteous and has done a great job hiring friendly people who genuinely want to give you a great haircut. Will definitely be coming back!

Very friendly staff. I got my haircut from Lily T and she is amazing. She listens to you and suggests what will look good on you. They also have Paul Mitchell products and since they are authorized seller you know that you are buying a genuine product. They also run promotional discounts all the time so that’s a plus too.

I have had my haircut done by a few other stylists, but hairs down ;) Harmonee is the best! I love how she cuts my hair and listens to my preferences. She definitely worth waiting for, and she is always talkative! I always give her a good tip, so you better too! She is also the manager of the shop and she runs a good shop! Definitely coming back soon :)

I got my first haircut at sport clips with Chelle and this won’t be my last. I received a coupon for a free hair cut so I thought I would check it out. Chelle killed it. Hair looks great, excellent customer service, got to watch some basketball, head rinse, mini massage, and a coupon card! It’s the ultimate guy heaven (missing beer and food). I will return. A+

There has not been ONE time that I haven’t had to wait at least a half hour to get a haircut. Poor customer service and communication. This is the last time I come here.

My husband just got a great hair cut today, wait was long wait, but worth it. My husband looks really handsome!

This is my go to place. Its awesome how they market it to men where you can be entertained watching sports while you get cut. They also over massages too which is just epic by itself.
They offer military discounts so it ends up being very cheap for me. Best of all, they hire stylists that speak english and dont mess up your hair. What a concent

I always went elsewhere for my hair cuts until I came into sports clips my first time. Every time I come here now the people are so nice and give the best cuts.

I have been coming here for the past several years and am always happy with my experience. The atmosphere and speed are great (though it can get quite busy so I try to come at off peak times). I’m always pleased with my haircut and they make great recommendations with regards to different cuts to try and shampoos/​hair gels. Chelle cut my hair on my most recent visit and did an awesome job.

I’ve been going here for years. Rachel is awesome and never seems to disappoint. A+++. I always love how my hair turns out when she cuts it.

Thank you Chelle for the great customer service! I recommend the triple play or MVP. It’s always a nice relaxing experience and you can’t beat watching sports while getting cleaned up.

I usually shy away from franchised hair spots, but Harmonee at Sport Clips has changed my perception. What started as a convenient cut (close to work) turned into a preferred spot to get my hair cut. Harmonee is fantastic, welcoming and extremely efficient. The store is always clean and lines are never long. Great experience and can’t wait to go back to see Harmonee!

Great friendly service! Harmonee is by far my favorite! I am not a big fan of the franchise haircut places however the whole haircut hair wash shoulder massage is a nice change that makes for a very pleasant experience!

I went here in late October and I figured that this place would be great for guys who love sports with all the TVs that stream live sports broadcasts.
I was here because I needed to get a haircut at a place nearby. A few weeks later from the day I got this cut was a state business conference and I wanted to look really good. But I had too much high hopes for this garbage place for haircuts.
I had Gina help me get my haircut done for me. I showed her exactly what I wanted to get and she really didn’t acknowledge as to what I wanted. I asked for short on the sides somewhere around 1 to 1.5 and keep it short on top where I can still style because I preferably like to spike me hair and look good when I’m out and about. The worst thing she did was that she completely ignored what I said and she didn’t help me much to understand the blade scale. So she whips out a 5 and shaves off almost all my hair and made me look ugly. She didn’t care about me and it makes me worried for all guys who want to get a haircut and ends up with this horrible employee. I didn’t have any reason to get mad in front of her, but when I left I knew I screwed myself up going to this place.
I got the worst haircut ever from them and they will never, especially Gina get anymore business from me anymore. Learn to actually cut hair, go to a school where you style hair or don’t take the job. IT’S RIDICULOUS!

Been to this location 3 different times but have only had my hair cut once… and it was easily the worst haircut of my life.
First visit, awhile ago, the place was under remodel and there was a long wait. To the extent that girl at the front told me they were understaffed for the day and I was looking at about a 45min-​1 hour wait. Didn’t have that budgeted in my day, so I left.
Second visit, the actual «haircut», an obvious disaster. My head looked like a… well a male part. It was not flattering and I ended up shaving my head 2 days later.
Third visit. I asked, by describing my previous stylist’s appearance, if I could have a different stylist. She informed me she was pretty sure the girl in question no longer worked there. So I signed in and was told 5 mins. 10 mins later, one stylist walked out, complaining of feeling sick, while another went on break. Only one person working now. 20 mins after signing in, I walked out.
Overall, I like this franchise, but it’s soooooooo hit or miss, and miss way badly that you have to be prepared to walk out at any given location. But this location has had 3 opportunities to get it right. And don’t ever expect your stylist to look anything like the ones on the ads. Not even close!
