Slowwwwww. It’s not just this location — i think that most Game Stops have a good number of knowledgable employees working, but it seems like every time we go in to a store, we’re just there for soooo long. The lines are long — and even if they’re short they just take forever. That’s partially because games can’t be kept in their original casing any more. That leads to more thefts(well, that’s my guess). I do like that this Game Stop has a lot of used games and employees will be pretty honest about which games are worth your money. I always take the time to talk to an employee about my gaming needs. Big complaint of the company: when buying a used game, unless it’s a really old game, or a really worthless game, the discount is about $ 5. You might as well buy it new. Game review: the best game we own is Country Dance for Kinect. It blows Dance Central out of the water. You do not use any controllers and it’s fun and a great workout. It’s challenging — you must like Country music to enjoy this game.(Dance Central 2 is very fun also for the non-country fans). Our newest game is Zelda: Skyward Sword for Wii. it’s so far a lot of reading. The newer Zelda games seem to keep doing this. I’m glad we still have our NES and SNES hooked up. Playing original Zelda/Link is much more fun!

We went by Game Stop on our way home from dinner on Thursday night. My honey wanted to trade in some old games. They had what we wanted in stock and everything was available previously owned and on sale. So why only two stars? The woman working there was the most obnoxious person I have encountered in a long time. I always try to find the good in people but she was like nails scratching down a chalk board. She kept talking about specific games, some of which she was unsuccessfully trying to convince my honey to buy, in the most condescending, falsely enthusiastic tone. What solidified my annoyance with her was when she laughed at a child who asked about a game that apparently doesn’t exist. She didn’t try to help him with suggestions of what he may have been thinking of — she just laughed. Seriously?! For any future video game needs, I will gladly go farther from home to avoid the saleswoman at this Game Stop location.
