I am a Phở snob. I have tried phở in Europe, the east coast, Cali and the PNW. Europe phở tastes like dirty mop water and is expensive. East coast phở is almost right, Cali Phở is good and there are a ton of competition so you can weed out many. PNW phở is also good but less than Cali and more spread apart so many sucky places stay open due to lack of competition, this is one of those places. Expensive and smaller portions than other joints close by but I liked there location at first and was hoping it would be good because of its proximity to my location, unfortunately is was a lackluster broth, not home made at all and generic tasting. Do yourself a favor and try Phở Mania or Phở Saigon 8 in Lacey and when in Tacoma Phở Tai then come back and tell me if this phở here is basic. Customer service was like a bunch of bored staff waiting to go on break.

The resturant was very clean and quiet and our food came out suuupper fast! The noodles and broth were really delicious for a decent price. We just moved to the area so we will definitely be back here!

Favorite phở in the area! They are open early and the staff is really friendly. If your not into phở get the beef and carrots stew #27. Really good! #16 combo is the photo

Very good experience! Walked in to a friendly establishment and we were promptly seated at a clean table. Condiment tray displayed full containers and appeared tidy. Fast service came with an attentive waiter. Our food was very well prepared and presented proudly. We enjoyed the flavors and ample portions. Recommended with confidence. Will return soon.

Wow! My first phở experience! They were so nice and helpful. They were very busy, we purchased our food to go and it took about 10min. I would have waited all day. This broth was AMAZING. We will definitely be frequenting our new found friends here again soon. Thank you!

Blah, went to the Lacey location many times so I had high hopes. I got the grilled chicken and egg roll, my daughter got chicken phở. My food was flavorless. Her broth was watery and almost clear. I had to pile the salt on both. Not going back.

The place with the most flavorful broth for phở, but with the stingiest meat and noodle portion. I can finish the large size here(most places, I have left overs from the small). Service is pretty fast, and while the parking lot is small, I’ve never had a problem finding parking since the overflow is the now closed Office Depot. The price I think is a little higher than some of the other phở places in the area, but for better flavor, it’s sometimes worth it, especially if I’m feeling under the weather.

Just Okay. Had the number 8 phở. Steak, flank, fatty flank-was a little grisly. Broth was ok(didn’t seem to have much star of anise or spice flavor). Service was okay. Regular size phở came to $ 8.90 with tax. Bean sprouts were brown and unsafe to eat. Thai basil was ok. Lime and jalapenos were dried on surface and looked like they had been cut much earlier in the week.

This was my first visit to this phở hoa. I had decent expectations as I frequent the phở hoa in redmond. However I was sadly disappointed. A small combination bowl was a little over 9.00 and the broth was sadly watered down. The meat cuts did not seem very fresh. This site is a sore excuse for having the phở hoa name :/I won’t be returning. I can pay half the price for a more flavorful bowl of phở elsewhere. It really is too bad.

Living in west oly it’s a great place to get my phở fix. Always great service and has other options for the rest of my family who do not love phở as much as I do.

Besides the food, the bright dining room with an awesome view, the high point of this location is the incredibly friendly owners and staff. Phở Hoa is a popular chain in the NW, with good predictable fare. I standards are noodles with BBQ pork and the phở with steak, brisket and fatty flank.

I forgot how much I love this place! Haven’t been here in two years since I no longer live in the area. When I walked in, I was greeted by the owner and invited to sit wherever suited me best. As soon as I sat, hot tea, water and a menu appeared. I ordered a fresh spring roll and chicken phở. Generous portions, fresh food and fast service. The only thing preventing me from rating them five star is a little bit of spring cleaning that needs to be taken care of. Good food, good service. Very fast, fresh and reasonably priced.

I have to say I was skeptical about this place but it far exceeded my expectations. The broth was delicious and flavorful and the tofu fresh rolls came with delicious peanut sauce. My only complaint is I felt like I could use more tofu and vegetables in my phở. Side note I find that if there are a large amount of the locals(Vietnamese) eating there I will not return but I found a large amount of the group was of the local culture. A great place for some phở.

A very efficient and vivacious staff serving traditional Vietnamese soup(phở). I love them all! Try #31 when you want to try something other than soup. The spring rolls and fried egg rolls are fresh & delicious.

Best Phở in the area! Always curt fast service with exceptional soup; I love to eat the number 45 in a small bowl. It has been family run since it opened and the staff still remember me even when I haven’t been around for half a year. Getting it to go is super fast too, so its a great stop for lunch on the run.

I think the best phở is the Olympia, Tumwater, Lacey area! I enjoy the great broth and atmosphere. I usually end up bumping into many friends here as well. Their iced coffee is amazing! They also have bubble tea. If you don’t have time or wanna eat at home, you can call ahead and get your phở order to go!

I have visited over 40PHO restaurants over 11 year timeframe. This Phở restaurant is the second best restaurant in terms of authentic taste and quality. The only place that was slightly better was hung sound located in falls church Virginia. Surprise to taste something this good out here in the west. Highly recommend.

I’ve been going to the Phở Hoa in Lakewood for well over 8+ years and never knew there was another Phở Hoa! What? Sadly, I was disappointed when I got to this one… First off, I will admit that I was dying of hunger for well over 12+ hours and was in a super cranky mood beforehand and arrived with a group of 10 – 13 people… I know how long that takes to get my food… best highlight was, one lady was taking 10+ peoples’ order and I was on the very end, luckily this guy working there caught my attention and went ahead and took my boyfriend and I’s order. We of course got our food first, and normally I would wait… but I was a starving kiddo. who needed her food before she went mega-hangry. I ordered some spring rolls(no ham please, they got 1 with no ham but that’s okay because my boyfriend ate the other one), I wanted some Thai Tea Bubble Tea but… apparently their Thai tea is canned separately? So I ordered the Pineapple Bubble Tea(BTW, their TAPIOCA pearls were PERFECT!, some places the pearls are too frozen/hard or too chewy but these were soft and chew-able). I ordered the #2 like I usually do, steak and brisket. The portion was unusually small compared to other Phở places and it tasted, OK. They didn’t have the chili(Sambalek?) sauce out on the table… bummer. In the end, this plae gets 3 stars because the price… was a super downfall… they didn’t get some of my order right or didn’t have what I needed and taste was just alright. Nothing special. Good thing I don’t live in Olympia.
