I’m a sensitive celiac and I can’t even eat any food with MSG and I found here: No MSG, gluten free and I love it. I usually order combination Phở and a pair of spring rolls and everything is very fresh. My friends love banh mi-the BBQ Pork sandwich and lemon grass beef. We choose here for dating for twice a week. I recommend this place for everyone especially for the one who has allergy with MSG. Plus: they have lots of food for vegetarians.

Not impressed. I have only been once, so it may have been an off day. I ordered the beef sandwich. There was some sort of weird, sweet-tasting mayonnaise-type spread on it that made it almost inedible. This spread overpowered the rest of the sandwich. They also use pickled vegetables, and the brine is on the sweet side. I was expecting savory, not sweet. On the positive, the bread was really good and the person at the counter was very nice and helpful. She was surprised I was familiar with Vietnamese food. I told her I used to live around the corner from the top Vietnamese restaurants in the San Gabriel Valley. I went often! I will give them another chance and try their Phở, mainly because the location is convenient.

The phở I had here was horrible. The broth was not clear and had a lot impurities in it. The food lacked flavor and there was lots of salt and msg. I would not eat here again.

We just stopped here on way back from a trip to Portland — big mistake. My wife pulled 4.5 stars from Google, without looking at Unilocal(true ratings). Ordered Phở Tai and straight away my wife smelled something bad — like the beef is old. Told the server, who took it away and then the boss came down questioning wife — she is also Asian and had cooked since she was 5. Then even took out the tray of beef to show how fresh it is, further embarrassing my wife. We have eaten in Vietnamese restaurants all over the world including in Vietnam. Sorry but no pride in their food or tact with customers.

The food is not too good here. We ordered a few banh mi and spring rolls to go. The 2 spring rolls were tiny but cost almost $ 5. The banh mi had too much mayo and the bbq pork was pretty tasteless.

Stopped in tonight to have my very 1st try at Phò. Was greeted instantly and quite friendly. The same lady took my order and took the time to ask if I was going straight home to enjoy her yummy creation or stopping on the way home. She advised me that Phò should be eaten hot, meaning temperature wise. And asked if I wanted all the ingredients mixed together so that when I get home I can enjoy it straight away. Being my 1st time I agreed to it being mixed and boy was that a great decision! I look forward to going back and ordering another bowl of Phò there. I highly suggest it. Oh and I got some spring rolls as well. LOVETHEM! So fresh, crunchy, and their peanut sauce with it is perfectly made. Not overwhelmingly peanuty or watered down. Thank you so much for making my 1st experience with Phò a great one!

Id give it negative stars if possible. One star is being generous. The phở noodles were chewy and the chicken teriyaki didn’t look or taste like chicken while everything was cold and pretty much raw. I will never come back.

Stopped by here on a rainy day to get lunch. I got a chicken bahn mi sandwich, which was almost $ 6 for the sandwich alone– and the lady at the counter mentioned that I could write a tip if I wanted, so I did,(because I would feel guilty if I didn’t). The sandwich came out pretty quickly, and it was good and filled me up, but I still felt like the portion was a bit on the small side. There was a lot of mayonnaise on the sandwich– so much that when I squeezed the bread a bit, it would drip out on to the paper.

My wife and I stumbled across this place on a freeway break on our way to Seattle, what a treat. Best bahn mi sandwich I have ever had. Coffee and spring roll were awesome as well. Great service. We are getting another sandwich on the way back to Portland!

Ordered lemongrass beef, teriyaki chicken and orange chicken. The beef and orange chicken were okay, although the portions were really small for the price. The teriyaki chicken was inedible, as in I took one bite and had to spit it out. Will not be going here again. Should have read the reviews first.

I really wish we had read some of these reviews in advance. My wife’s food was cold and had a piece of foil mixed in it. I fear my chicken curry(heavy on the okay sauce, light on the chicken and vegetables) is the reason my insides are gurgling exaggerated noises. Their biggest sin is that while taking our order the waitress asked if we wanted tea. Being a phở restaurant, and being asked directly by her, I assumed it was complimentary. It was two mugs(one not washed) with Stash brand tea bags already floating inside. When paying the bill we saw that we were in fact charged for it. Only a dollar each, but for $ 3.25 I can buy a whole box of Stash brand tea at the store.

Bad portions. Curry was watered down. Pad Thai portion was ½ what normal Thai houses offer. Spring Rolls(2) was expecting 2 times the size for the price($ 4.50)

Really good Vietnamese sandwich and spring rolls. The Vietnamese coffee is strong and deli. Haven’t tried the phở yet but I’ll be coming back. Good service too.

Horrible. I usually order phở from this place. It isn’t bad. But last night I ordered teriyaki chicken. My 12 year old watched them microwave my chicken, not once but twice. My rice was mush, sick gross porridge mush. It was cold as well. My chicken was rubber and my teriyaki chicken should have been ginger and cinnamon chicken, because that’s what it tasted like. Also I had four huge slices of cucumber on my to go plate, and shredded carrot. I have never gotten cucumber with teriyaki chicken. I hate cucumber and it touched everything. I threw it all away. Every bit of it, and ordered pizza. I spent almost thirty dollars. I don’t recommend this place to anyone anymore.

very small portion for the price. The phở is average and the soup base is very bland. Would not recommend. If you do go, be prepared to order or the waitress will continue to offer more food than you want.

I’m not quite sure where to begin… I knew I should have left from the beginning when she started upselling me, thinking I should buy 4 sandwiches instead of just one. And what an awful sandwich it was. The bread was inedible and the little bit of pork that was on there could have sanded the callouses off my feet. One slice of jalapeño – yeah, thanks. And«pâté mayo» is a joke. Very little pâté and the amount of mayo on there couldn’t have filled a teaspooon. I was so disappointed. But before that we had«spring rolls» with«peanut sauce” – basically it was peanut water. Stay away from this place. I’m never going back and I’ll tell others to stay away as well.

Picked up a to go order tonight so my boyfriend could have his first phở experience. It’s 27 degrees outside, we are totally hungover so I figured it would be the perfect time for phở! Yeah… NOPE. When she handed me over the bag there were only the two soup containers and the spring rolls. I asked where the rest was and she said she put it all in the cup together so I could just go home and eat right away. Ugh. I live 25 minutes from this location so I immediately knew I was going home to open a container of mush. And yep. Nailed it. Mushy noodles, about 3.45 pieces of chicken, no bean spouts, no veggies, and SUPER tiny portions. For $ 7.99 each? No thanks. I poured the mush in to bowls and just figured we would eat what we could, the flavor was good, the texture just was awful. Couldn’t even pick up the noodles with chopsticks. We are about half way through and my bf goes, «Hey, what’s this?» and upon further inspection I yell«OMGIT’S AN F’INGBUG!» Yep. A bug. About the size of a small fly but it looked like a roach. Maybe a baby roach. Idk what it was but AREYOUKIDDINGME?! Threw it all out. Now hungry. Angry. And on the verge of vomiting. I feel like there are bugs in my esophagus and the feeling won’t go away. Never going there again. Except for tomorrow when I go to complain, show them the picture of the bug, and get my money back. So so so gross. #fail

Veggie and tofu phở with vegetarian broth was good. Can’t complain especially because the other Vietnamese phở joints don’t have vegetarian broth. If there are in the olympia area please let me know! Only wish they let the broth stew with anise and cinnamon bark. Perhaps if more vegetarians came here they would? Tofu bánh mi was delish. Tofu spring rolls are a waste of money. 2 little rolls for 4.50!!! I’m going home to make them instead.

That was quite possibly the oddest banh mi I have ever tried to eat. I ordered the B6, which on the menu is the meatball and jicama banh mi. As you can see from the photos I took, missing were anything resembling meatballs. I found one thin shred of jicama swimming in the abundance of pink mayo and stewed tomatoes oozing from the soggy baguette. I was able to pick out some course ground pâté sprinkled in– again, odd because usually in a banh mi there’s a smear of pâté on the bread which kind of acts like a paste to keep the shredded veg in place alongside whatever meat filling, or in this case, the invisible meatballs. Despite the appearance of the sandwich, I decided to take a couple of bites and prayed that I wouldn’t end up with mayo-pâté-tomato on my work clothes. The owner also pushed the spring roll pretty hard, telling me repeatedly(after I politely declined) that she makes«THEBEST spring rolls». It was small, and 80% lettuce. Maybe if I were a rabbit, it would be the best spring roll ever invented. The rest of the roll was rice noodles and a thin slice of pork. C’mon now, throw a little mint in there, maybe some shredded carrot… Even bunnies can’t subsist on lettuce alone. I also ordered a mango bubble tea(with real fruit). My mistake on that one was assuming real = fresh. It was real mango purée mixed with a liberal amount of sugar. Disappointing meal all around. I won’t be back.

Really delicious bbq pork banh mi, and they do it closest to the authentic places in LA, with a pâté mayo spread. I wish they would give more pickled radish and slice the cucumbers thinly instead of giving one huge cucumber spear. This is located in the same strip mall with a Fred Meyer, Taco del Mar and Panda Express, and pretty close to Costco and Wal Mart. Easy, free parking and the prices are decent. The pork banh mi is $ 5 and change. I just wish the ratio of mayo to pâté wasn’t so high, and it seemed to vary based on the day. On Saturday, whoever made it was generous, and the spread was probably 50⁄50. Today(Monday), the ratio seemed to be 30% pâté, 70% mayo, which was not as delicious. I’ll definitely be back to try their phở and other noodle dishes. Nothing on their menu was over $ 10, or at least what caught my eye.
