Delightful, affordable, expedient, delicious, friendly. Perfect Bahn MI, a Vietnamese coffee and spring rolls, $ 11!!!

The sandwich was good but, there wasn’t enough fillings. And I also had the spring roll, the dipping was tasty.

I’ve been here once. I’ve also been to Vietnam. This place is a) delicious b) reasonably priced. If I ever need a sandwich again while I’m downtown, this is the spot.

Good food at cheap prices make this a perfect place to stop for a quick lunch on the go. At the beginning of the lunch hour they often have shrimp and lettuce wraps pre-packaged for a quick grab, or you can order a sandwich to be made to order. The prices are incredibly low, between $ 4 – 5 for a full sandwich made with fresh ingredients. While there could have been more filling in the sandwich, both my tummy and my wallet walked away full.

As someone who worked downtown for a couple years, I had the opportunity to try every spot in town. The Nom Nom Deli is a place that I returned to on an almost daily basis. The customer service was phenomenal, the owner running his business and loving every moment of it. We always greet each other and he knows my boyfriend and I very well. The shop is always spotless and well maintained. The food, of course, is the best. We generally order too much and take it home with us for later(so good!). It is all very, very reasonably priced. I generally order a veggie hum bao or spring roll and a curry tofu banh mi. It’s all freshly made; I will never eat spring rolls from any other place again. If you appreciate quality food, wonderful people and service, this is the place to go. Although we have moved to a different area, I venture to Olympia solely for the Nom Nom Deli. It is worth the travel and a wonderful experience every time.

Fantastic Asian deli! Very laid back very casual, limited hours so check before you go. Wonderful won-ton soup, great fresh spring rolls. The Vietnamese sandwiches are filling and delicious, the fried rice dishes are great, noodle dishes I’m still not sure on which ones to order so I’ll update later. Friendly service can get slow when the lunch crowd arrives. Overall great and inexpensive food in a central downtown location!

Delicious layers of delicate, married flavor in the won ton soup with plenty of won tons! Best I’ve had, not the salty yet bland variety found elsewhere. Been back twice this week! Fab freash spring rolls with really lovely dipping sauce. Nice owners and service, pleasent little space. Good prices. Definately worth going downtown.

Great service, gigantic veggie spring rolls, and made from scratch menu. We had a perfect Lemongrass Salad, and Singapore Noodle soup. «Perfect…» says the wife.

Nom Nom Yum! I was recommended here when asking a local, on my last stop before leaving back to Seattle. Groovy fun music, delicious food, and double kudos for the cute server with ACTUAL chili paste and not just Sriracha ketchup! I was recommended to try the meatball sandwich, but felt inclined to the wanton soup instead. Yay for yummy good food and easy-going nice atmosphere. :)

Not the best but for the price? Hell yeah! Still pretty delicious and dont forget to ask for fresh jalepeno slices on them.

Excellent sandwiches, salad, and spring rolls. Extremely reasonable prices. Olympia needs more places like this!

The sandwich was just ok. I was expecting more, the décor was nice and the service was prompt. I got the #6 and was excited to see they served the Banh mi with pâté. Unfortunately there wasn’t much meat or veggies. Bread was good. I wouldn’t only go back if I really had to and would definitely ask for extra veggies.

Friendly staff and nice and inviting interior. Unfortunately the banh mi was mediocre. Pork was Chinese style char siu and not traditional marinated Vietnamese style. Bread was dry, no pâté spread and veggies were lacking flavor. Tough to find really stellar banh mi unless you travel to Portland or Seattle.

Today I went to the deli Nom Nom and get two sandwiches: lemongrass pork and curry tofu. It is yum yum. I will come back again.

First time here. Ordered spring rolls, wonton soup and curry sandwich $ 14 with tip. Everything was fresh, place is super clean, friendly and fast service. Not a fan of the curry sandwich it wasn’t bad, it wasn’t good. Next time going to order a different sandwich.

Stopping in right after they opened on a Saturday morning, I was expecting a big desert place with basic deli items catering to the local work-day crowd and got something much more delightful than I expected! The menu has Vietnamese flair and the environment is bright, colorful and airy. Two Bánh Mì sandwiches(lemon grass and barbecue), a warm sesame bun and coconut water ordered to go proved to be very delicious lunch fare later. Evidently they are really busy during the weekday so expect appropriate service times. Definitely worth a return trip!

The banh mi is better at Nom Nom Deli than it was at the previous incarnation, Nammy’s. Nom Nom Deli made my banh mi with more meat, so I was happy about that, but the coconut chicken itself was really dry. I went back a few days later and ordered the Thai Fried Rice, which I really wanted to like, but the portion was really small, compared to the Pad See Ew that my friend ordered. The Pad See Ew didn’t have any broccoli(does it even count as pad see ew at that point?), and was made with the skinnier rice noodles(like the ones used for Pad Thai), so I’m not sure what was going on in the kitchen on Friday. Our food took 30 min to make, so we had to inhale our food in order to make it back to the office. The owner did apologize and say that he was down by 1 person, but I’m still not sure what happened with the pad see ew’s missing broccoli and wrong noodles. I would suggest that people call their orders in ahead of time to avoid the 30 min waiting time for food other than banh mi. The ambience is nicer than it was before, and the space is inviting and cheerful. Street parking is okay, as long as you are willing to pay the meter. If you work nearby, you can take the Dash shuttle or walk.

Absolutely amazing bánh mì sandwiches! The ambience is fantastic. Clean. I highly recommend the barbecue pork sandwich or the lemongrass pork sandwich or the fluffy pork sandwich. The spring rolls are excellent and made fresh continually through the review falls on my third visit inside a week. So it must be awesome.

This was the second time I’ve been here. The first was when it was operated as Nammy’s and under different ownership. To cut to the chase– Cheap and good. Bread was perfect. BUT and it’s a big but… The meat and fillers were extremely sparse. What would’ve made it 100 times better was more daikon and carrot and a tad bit more pâté. Could hardly see the layer of pâté in my sandwiches, and that’s my favorite part of the sandwich. The steamed pork buns were good also. This is something that is hard to come by around here and this is possibly the only place that I’ve seen that serves it, so thumbs up for them. I would come to Olympia more often and refrain myself from taking the dreadful, trafficky drive into Seattle to get sandwiches from Saigon Deli if they made the food more like Saigon Deli. All in all, it’s good for the area, but could be a lot better.

The food is amazingly cheap. I got the Lemongrass tofu sandwich and it was a little too spicy for me. For me I couldn’t really enjoy it due to the the heat overwhelming the other flavors. I got the Curry tofu sandwich and it was great. I felt like it had a good balance. I could taste the bread, the veggies and the curry taste. I got the Veggie Noodles and the breaded tofu was fantastic. The noodles were just okay. I’d totally just get the veggies and the breaded tofu again, but the noodles just weren’t right. I’ll try to update this each time I get something new. I’m hoping to try the vegetarian ham sandwich next.

Today I tried the Vietnamese specialty sandwich. It’s my favorite so far, and is made with ham and barbecued pork. I also had a very tasty bowl of wonton soup and a Vietnamese coffee(very sweet and strong coffee served over ice). All in all, I liked it a lot.

Great Vietnamese sandwiches, the bread is just right — crusty without being too tough. Flavor and fillings are spot on. I recommend the lemongrass pork. We tried the fried rice and veg noodles as well. Good flavor, the noodles were a little soggy, though. I had never been to the old Nammy’s. This new location across from Batdorf and Bronson is clean, warm and inviting. The price was awesome too! I’ll be back for sure.
