I work by here and all my coworkers and I love this place. Employees here are so pleasant and courteous.
Best deli sandwiches in the area. Awesome egg salads too. Burgers are great.
Ingredients in Make your own salads is always fresh and clean.
They do have a little bit of everything. Great selection of ice creams and drinks.
I know their fruit selection doesn’t look like much but they’re pretty good quality. I recommend!

I walked by need to pick up a milk and juice. I got three items. Cast me $ 6.09. I know if I am in California it will cast me less but I am in hell’s kitchen. Anyway I did not have any changes with me. so I give him $ 7. The person was smile to me say $ 6. Is Okay. Wow really? That was very nice of him… thank you. . Few days ago I was at some store in union square I got something for $ 14.05 .I have $ 14.out try to look for $.05 cents that person at the counter said hurry up .05 cents.

Has totally gone downhill over the years. Being a local, this place used to be quality, friendly, and super cheap. Prices are way too high and so rude to regulars. Go down the street and you’ll find better.

Got a decent, satiating egg on a bagel sandwich here for $ 2.50. The guy behind the deli was surprisingly cheerful and very quick. The deli has lots of snacks and drinks to choose from, as well.

While the selection of items in this corner deli/​bodega are inconsistent, it is countered by some decent prices and a very friendly staff. The guy working the counter always smiles, calls me «buddy», and pats me on the shoulder. In a city as big as NYC, it’s nice to be treated like you truly matter.

So this is a stinkin’ corner deli like every one else, right? Wrong. What these guys have over other delis is TLC. They put so much love into the food. No joke! Lotsa delis are really inconsistent and sloppy with your sandwiches but these guys make your sandwich like they were making it for themselves, every time without fail. There are two delis closer to my home, but at Royal 54 I live like a king for like five and a half bucks.
