This place is great. The food is good quality. They’ll improvise and make you mint tea even though they don’t have mint tea… tasted like the real thing.

I’m a fan of The Hummus Factory in Manhattan Beach, so when I saw a Groupon for this location, I immediately bought it. I went there around 2PM on a Sunday, and there were only two other groups of people there. One group was already eating, and the other group was waiting for their food. I wanted to try the beef kabob plate, since I usually order a beef wrap. When I said«Beef kabob plate to go», the cashier said«Chicken kabob plate?», and I clarified I wanted beef. The cashier told me it would be 10min, and while I waited, I noticed the other party received their food. Finally, I got my food 10min later, and I drove home. Excited to try the beef kabob plate, I opened the to go box to discover CHICKEN kabob plate. It was ok, but I huge disappoint. The Groupon is $ 10 and the chicken kabob plate is $ 10. However, the beef kabob plate was around $ 14 with tax. So I ended up paying $ 4 extra for nothing. I’ll stick to the Manhattan Beach location.

Don’t come here if you’re in a hurry. They take their time preparing the food, as they should. But we were thinking it’d be a quick grab-n-go situation. That’s not their fault. My wrap was tasty and would definitely recommend coming back if you’re not about to run into a movie.

This is a small outdoor eatery. There are some tables under a roof but it’s open to the outside. Good variety on the menu. Very good hummus. I had a gyro rice bowl. Very tasty.

The food here is absolutely delicious. I have the kabobs all the time, I definitely recommend them. I have been coming here for a while, and the cashier is always friendly. The place is not Huge. It seats about 30 people. So you might have to be a little patient to get your grub. But it’s well worth it.

Came here because of a groupon deal and my love for Mediterranean food. Unfortunately this wasn’t even worth my groupon amount. The food was bland and the restaurant was dirty. Definitely not inviting or welcoming. When I first got there I was excited by the menu… hummus, falafel, lentil soup… yum! The menu was short yet everything sounded like it would be delicious. I ordered the hummus appetizer, a falafel wrap and a lentil soup. The hummus was the best part of the meal but still wasn’t tasty. The falafel on the wrap was dry and bland. The lentil soup had NOFLAVOR! Total disappointment. To top it off, there were flies in the restaurant, the tables were dirty and the floor looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in forever and a day. When I went to use the soda machine it wasn’t so clean either. BLAH. In my excitement I purchased more than one groupon. I don’t believe I’ll be going back to use the other groupon. Not worth it.

I called in an order for pickup and I was told it would be ready in 10min, when I got there my order had not been placed at all.

What can I say about The Hummus Factory… It’s really just not that good, especially if you’re vegetarian. While the french fries are good, THF had some of the dryest, worst falafel and cheaply made greek salads I’ve ever had. I’ve had a lot of both, so that’s pretty impressive. With its odd location and set up inside Howard Hughes, THF is kind of halfway in between a food court place and quick serve restaurant. You order at the counter, then they bring it out. For about $ 10-$ 15, you’ll get a meal that you’re wondering why you didn’t pay $ 5-$ 7 for. It’s surprisingly expensive for not all that much.

We ordered to go and the order was perfect and everything was really fresh. The chicken is perfect and the vegetarian appetizer is the best!

I’ve been here several times and have always gotten great food. The chicken plate is my favorite, the garlic sauce compliments the chicken. Highly recommend it. hint: can get busy during business hours so order in advance…

Ordered online took 30mins for them to serve me lentil soup that smelled and looks like vomit. My co-worker was severed semi-raw chicken the week before. This place does not deserve your business. You have been warned.

If you walk in thinking you’re going to a full restaurant, you’re going to have a bad time. If you walk in with the expectation that this is going to be just really good mall food, you’re going to have a bad time. I have no idea what happened. Maybe it’s because we got there 30 minutes before closing or something, but my «Beef Kabob» plate was absolutely terrible. Food: The pita was cold(not warm — COLD). The beef chunks were dry and OVERCOOKED or microwaved to death(I actually couldn’t tell the difference because the pieces were so tough). The rice was blah. They don’t even put the fake yellow rice to try to make it look like they use saffron(which they obviously wouldn’t use in a place as cheap as this). The hummus(the namesake!) was exactly mediocre. The only redeeming feature was that there was 1 garbanzo bean on it. Location: The eating area is a make-shift enclosure between the mall wall and the register’s take out stand. There is a tent siding to attempt to make this look like an enclosure, but it all felt quite cheap. Yes, there were framed pictures and a flat screen TV on the wall, but it was sooooooooooo weird. I’m definitely never coming back(and I have an extra groupon coupon). Never take someone here. I have no idea what everyone’s raving about. Honestly, what gives?

My husband and I decided to try/eat something different in the area. We came across Hummus Factory. Hummus factory??? Since this is officially my first review I will try my very best to be accurate. I believe it was the owner taking our orders, pleasant man. He recommended their famous chicken plate along with greek salad, lentil soup and falafels. Service was terrific and was able to grasp on what we wanted to order as beginners. Food was freshhhh, exceptional, great portion and presentable! Price is reasonable for the amount of food you pay for. In conclusion, my husband and I will definitely come back to try rest of the menu. I missed out on Ordering a dessert called Baklava. Next time! Cons: $ 2 parking fee! It’s not even anything close to Beverly center to be charging that amount.

Decently good Mediterranean style food with some high-ish prices. Fairly priced lunch specials good if you work in the area. My favorite thing to eat here is the chicken kabobs. Both the wraps and plates are good. The spicy scale is maybe a 4⁄10 for those who like a tiny kick in their wraps. The fries are made to order and are so-so. Not a fan of the steak(too well done) and the lula(not very tasty) but those are easily avoided. I wouldn’t call this fast food. They take a good 10 minutes to prepare you’re order. Kind of worth it as the food tastes pretty fresh each time!

I still had one more groupon left(you get(2) 10.00 groupons for 12.00). We were driving to LAX on a Friday afternoon so we stopped here for lunch. My spouse was equally impressed with her food as I was the first time we ate here. This time, the restaurant was busy, lots of nearby office workers enjoying the lunch specials. We shared the same Chicken Kebab plate i ordered the first time. Have to say this again, this is the best, most flavorful white meat chicken Kebab I’ve had in Socal to date. Spouse loved the rice too. Since we live 40 miles away, I wouldnt make a special trip, however, I can see me stopping here if I was to or from LAX.

If you work in the area, buy the groupon and then get whatever the daily special is. Best bang for your buck for lunch at the howard hughes center and least artery clogging! Im usually unimpressed by mediterranean places but hummus factory actually does a really great job on juicy flavorful grilled chicken and hummus. Portions are generous for the plates even though its kinda pricey. But if youre a small eater, youll probably have plenty for dinner as well.
