Food was delicious. I had al pastor tacos and lengua tacos. The price went up to $ 1.40 per taco from $ 1.25, but I’m not complaining. I will be back for sure.

The tacos were okay. I would rather eat them there though since when taken to go they’re super soggy and falling apart. On the other hand, my best friend did get diarrhea the next day. So probably won’t be going back.

This place is the best !! I eat here 3x a week and am never disappointed. Always delicious and fast friendly service. And they don’t skimp on the meat :) I have tried many places like this… this one is the BEST !! It has parking challenges but is way worth the effort. Best lengua tacos ever!

This is actually as good as it gets. I had to take away his star because of the surly worker attitude. Actually I don’t care about surly worker attitude. But I do care that they didn’t give me one of my dishes and didn’t bring it out. But because I was over eating to begin with, I didn’t really notice. OK fine. I added the star back. Forget about El Chato’s and Leo’s. I agree the pineapple adds a certain something in those other places, but overall this place has much more flavor to the meat and the salsas. Skip those crazy lines for late night eats and come here instead. The Mulita al pastor was just delicious. My son got the mixed Carne Asada and Al Pastor burrito and then we shared the chicken tacos. Every dish was the best of its class and I have had. This converted Wienerschnitzel is the bomb. I suspect it’s going to be my cheap L.A. taco favorite.

Stopped here for tacos on our way to the airport. SOGOOD!!! They grill the meat outside on a grill. They have outside seating and a parking lot. Great food and great prices. What more could you ask for?

I tried a bite of my friends al pastor’s quesadilla and WOW. I wished i ordered that instead! I don’t take spicy food very well but the carne asada tacos i ordered came with this verde green sauce that was so damn spicy i only ate one. it was DELICIOUS don’t get me wrong here… but my tongue was kind of burning all over after 1 taco. T_T That is what i call a huge travesty in the eating world. Before my tongue lost all feeling for about 20 minutes, I was able to see how well marinated the meat was. it’s different from King Taco but still yummy. Oily but so damn good! Would i come here again? Yup. If i were to ever be in the area, this is a stop i must take!

This place is close to home, and it doesn’t disappoint. The ambiance is very casual, but prepare to be seduced by the intoxicatingly alluring aroma from all the wonderful food they prepare. I get my asada burrito and it is as filling as it is delicious. They’re always busy, but the line moves quick. The parking lot is small, but I’m in and out quick anyways. Do yourself a favor and check this place out!

If this place delivered I’d never leave home. The carne asada burrito is out of this world.

Such a good taco place!!! The al pastor tacos here are delicious! At $ 1.25 each, they’re such a steal. You place your order indoors, and take your receipt outside where the workers are grilling the meat. If you order al pastor, you can see the worker cutting the meat off directly! Very cool. The tacos taste so good off the grill, and they aren’t too greasy. I do think that the green salsa that comes on it was a tad overpowering, so next time I think I’ll get it on the side. There is plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. There is a parking lot that is shared with about 3 other businesses, so it may get crowded at times. But try to find parking because this place is worth it!

Saw all the stars so resided to stop by, so far i been here two times onve in day time on e at night. in the day time they cook the meat on the. Flat iron wich leaves it pery oily it will run down yor hands i dont realy mind, but preferable i will go with the night action because they have the top for the pastor wich i think gives the meat a better flavor and and the asada is on the actual grill that makes a big difference atleast to me. Will be comming back.

My church is nearby here. Whenever its my turn to buy lunch for the small congregation, I come to Compita! Unfortunately I don’t volunteer often haha. There’s a good looking señora cashier here… Resulting in top notch service. She speaks no english, but comprende con todo ingles… and replies with that cute mexican/latina accent. Sure the service has nothing to do with being able to slap together 50 tacos in 10 minutes, and giving a pint of chile, and jalapenos… The food itself is average. Parking sucks here. Food is cheap, most taco spots are.

This place is a gem. Outside charcoal grill, fresh salsas, and fresh meats. That green salsa tho… It’s off the chain. Tacos. I love you.

I stumbled upon this place several years ago while selling advertising and although the place is somewhat nondescript, it was after 6pm and the al pastor that was on the spit looked and smelled amazing. I tried the al pastor taco and I was absolutely hooked! By far, it was the best al pastor I have ever tasted with the perfect amount of seasoning. The corn tortillas were cooked just right and had the perfect balance of softness yet with a slight crunch. The red sauce is on the hot side but the guacamole sauce and cilantro and onions make this the perfect street taco albeit this is a brick-and-mortar location. Important note: although they are open for lunch, the menu options are limited to what they have inside. Their best stuff is available in the evenings when they are cooking outside the restaurant. On that note, my only criticism is that, imho, they start a bit late around 6:30pm rather than 5:30 or 6pm. To be fair, it does take time to set up and their food is cooked to order so this is a mild criticism. Also, be aware that they do not cook outdoors on Mondays. I just wish they opened other locations(especially in the South Bay).

The tables were pretty gross. Lots of dried crusty food in the grates. Also, the recooked asada was dry and bland. The torta had lettuce, tomato, carne asada and a small amount of beans. No avocado or cheese. Made for a pretty boring, chewy torta. When i asked the chef if it usually had cheese or avocado, he said«No»… okay, thank you. Lots of flies inside and local alcoholics outside. Not worth it. At all.

Despite looking a little sketchy this place is one of my favorite places to eat. It has awesome al pastor tacos! At night the tacos are made outside on the patio right in front of you. The al pastor style tacos are my favorite. The meat is cut off the spit right when you give them the ticket(after paying inside you hand your receipt to the guys on the patio). It’s crispy and still juicy, and the only place I have seen to do everything as you order. This also makes the tacos so hot you have to wait a minute before they’re edible. The red sauce is a perfect balance of spicy and sweet so be sure to ask for a little extra. I love the outdoor seating on hot nights too. It’s cash only but you could probably feed a family for less than $ 15. Tacos are only $ 1.25 and the fountain drinks come with free refills. They also have Mexican sodas too.

Came here A couple times and it was pretty good, but I found a couple shards of bone in a chicken taco and last carne asada taco I had didnt taste fresh and I ended up having indigestion, which oddly enough never happens to me with Mexican food. Service was fine but flavor is why I probably wont be back here. Too many other options to choose from in the city. I was drawn in by the 4.5 star rating but Honestly, Chato taco truck has cheaper tacos that taste much better.
