So far the only and best authentic«Mexican» tacos/burritos/etc I’ve tried in my life. Every ingredient is what it’s SUPPOSED to be. Every new friend I recommend and bring here, end up falling in love with them. Simply and humbly the best.

Smells amazing as you pull up, but when you get there you don’t really know what’s going on, we were told to wait 5 minutes, then when 5 minutes passed we asked someone else and he told us the same thing. Finally someone took our order, now we’re waiting, not a lot of people waiting, but it’s already been more than 30 minutes. After waiting for a while we’re asked what kind of meat, aparantly it was not written on the ticket. Either way, it’s cheap tacos.

Gahhh! This place was there at the right time! I wanted to get something to eat with my friend. I did not want chinese food and I did want to order thai food. I wanted something different. I was feeling Mexican burrito. The real kind! Not the smashed watery bean with random cheese bits wrapped in a hard to grasp tortilla, but the real authentic kind with the rice the meat and that secret sauce! Plus the radish and the onions on the side! Ask for a lot because you will need a radish for every bite! This is the place. No hype. You get what you pay for! Come in when your hungry, get out when you have had enough. :D

PLEASENOTE: the Unilocal address is WRONG! Tacos El Compita is actually located in the parking lot located North of the intersection of Norton Ave & Pico Blvd so please DONOT look at this address for directions. Been a local and committed customer to this joint since 2000 and I haven’t even looked back. Though I don’t know the workers’ names, they all recognize my dad and I every visit. Delicious tacos for $ 1.25 and burritos for $ 6 and you have the option to mix the burritos with different meats just like I do all the time! Their hot sauce is delicious and their mild sauce is even more delicious! Normally, I’m a hot sauce fanatic but their mild sauce is so good that I need to mix the sauces every time. Be sure to ask for all the necessary condiments which include sauces, radish, lemons, jalapenos, onions, and etc. I don’t know how early they’re open but they’re open till 7:00PM depending on how busy they are as well so make sure to be there before they drive off~

Located in a parking lot on Pico and Norton, they serve the best tacos and burritos with their super spicy, addicting hot sauce!
