Traditional Oaxacan food :)!! Great place if you want to try exotic, authentic Oaxacan food. Will return soon.

«Hole in the wall» Magic! Girlfriend was sick, and badly wanted soup. Generally, that means phở or wonton soup, but my hankering for Mexican food brought us to Zapoteca. My general experience with Mexican food is that hole in the wall establishments stay pretty true to tradition, and while I am white dude, I know and love home cooked Mexican grub. Zapoteca is that gem! My girlfriend ended up with a heaping bowl of sopa de res, and I scored a carne asada wet burrito. Everything was togo, so I can’t speak to service, but the woman who took our order was very sweet. Both dishes were redonk! The soup was spot on, and quelled my girl’s craving and the burrito was all fresh, with lightly seasoned rice and beans and fresh grilled beef. Red sauce was savory and a touch spicy, and the accompanying salsas were smokey and awesome. Loved the food, prices are great, and the menu is pretty extensive. Definitely give this one a go!

This place does not make regular Mexican food, their specialty is «Oaxacan» food. Their food is very good, obviously the people who have reviewed this place don’t know anything about exotic mexican food! The Oaxacan community likes this place and we all eat there often. Their Clayudas are delicious! you must try it!

I ate food from here once, don’t plan do so again. Some of the blandest tasting food I’ve ever had.
