Food was OK, nothing outstanding! I had a chicken marsala and a order of meat balls. I order with a head of time to pick up, i got there and there’s a lady arranging the sodas in the fridge. She said one moment, she finished putting all her sodas away and then got up, went and check in the kitchen for my order, as i am in a little hurry because im on my 30mins lunch and parked in red area watching to not get a parking ticket. Couple mins later she came out with my order, asked her to put a to go menu inside the bag(notice the menu says Westwood Pizzeria) now im confused because i thought i had called Lucia’s Café. Anyways i got my order paid and left. Got to work and the food like i said was OK, meat balls where like really tiny and you could barely see them in all the sauce, and for the chicken marsala it was a little to strong in the wine sauce. Not so sure if i will give it another try. We’ll see.

Lucia’s café deserves a 5 star review for so many reasons. We live in Westwood and we have been a frequent customers for delivery and pick up. We tried almost every item on their menu and they have been consistent through out. The freshness and food quality is superb, prices are excellent and service is consistent. It is hard to find a parking sometimes, but this is Westwood village. We highly recommend Lucia’s café and we will always go back.

The meatball sub was excellent. An holy medley of melted cheese, savory meatballs, and a soft yet thick french baguette. The pizza was good, not great. I will say the toppings were very fresh. You just cannot beat the pricing here. Obscenely cheap in an area that could get away with charging double.

Pretty okay food. Took my grandma to eat there today since we were visiting my grandpa at the hosptial across. Waiter was really nice and polite. Im giving this 3 stars because the place wasnt really amazing but it wasnt bad either. I did wait for my food hella long! It took probably half an hour. If id have known you could call ahead of time i would have totally done so. Regret not checking this place out on Unilocal first.

I’m not a fan of Lucia’s. Aside from the fact that the food is passable, it’s mostly due to the fact that management seems to make it a priority to urge customers to write Unilocal reviews. Pizza: 5⁄10 — nothing too special, but if you have drunchies, sure. I hate to be a party pooper but there’s nothing special here. If you’re with your friends and one of them says, «You know what? I’m really in the mood for mediocre food across the street from a gas station and next door to a dirt lot!» Then this is the perfect place for you.

I came here with a friend for dinner and it was empty. There were some employees sitting around using a table to chill. I found the menu to be interesting — a weird combination of all types of Italian food. Although service was nice, they were really slow. Prices were decent. In terms of the food itself, I found it to be quite bland. It did not taste authentic. The salads, pastas, and pizzas. I did not get a calzone. You also start with peanuts, which I like, but if you have too much, you will get sick. I did come a little while ago, so maybe it has changed, but my initial impression was that the food here was neither unique nor that good.

Throughly enjoyed the .99 cent pizza by the slice! I got one slice of mushroom and one pineapple. Both were made perfectly, delicious and crispy! An added bonus was the very friendly man. Such good service for takeout so I can only imagine what dining in must be like. I will probably frequent this place now that I’ve given it a try!

This place looked really cute from the outside and I’m always looking to try new places, but when we went to eat here it was empty and we got sat at the most awkward spot where the host could watch us the whole time so it felt like all our conversations were being eavesdropped on. The food was pretty good, I had a calzone, and the price was decent but the atmosphere was not worth returning for. One thing I do enjoy are their late night pizza slices and their dancing man who sells them! Always entertaining during a night out!

This is the place to go for quality pizza in Westwood. If you want something dirty, greasy, oily, for your drunken appetite, go to Enzo’s or Lamonica’s. If you’re a serious pizza lover like myself, and you’re looking for some quality pizza nearby, go to Lucia’s Café. If you’re a huge fan of crust, this is the place to go to. The crust starts out with a nice crunchy, but not an overwhelming crunchy, exterior but you become surprised to find a soft fluffy interior and it transports you into a state of euphoria. If I had to describe what heaven’s clouds would feel like, they would feel like Lucia’s Café’s crusts. Honestly though this place is dope. $.99 for a slice of pizza is a steal. If there was one place I’d seriously go for pizza, I would go here. BJ’s is a close second, but the price point at which Lucia’s sells their pizza is a serious pro. I have yet to try a calzone from here, but I would imagine that it’s DOPE.

I’ve worked very closely with the manager, Will, here and he’s the greatest! Always working hard to accommodate our fundraising goals for my organization! Other than great management, the food here is great(that’s what keeps us coming back here all the time!) Great food, great workers, great location, classy interior, great prices($ 1 slices, say whaaaat)!

This place is great! The management is very friendly, and their pizza is quite good for the affordable prices they have. I love their 99 cent pizza deals at the entrance after hours also. My fraternity had an event here and they were extremely gracious to host over 100 guests and provide a delicious variety of pizzas as well. You’ll definitely see me again soon!

I got a flyer to my office saying this place delivered through the RushOrder app so we decided to give it a try last night for our Monday evening meeting. And I just need to say that their prices are amazing. Considering the food they make they may be the best value in the area. There was some minor confusion because this place JUST changed it’s name to Westwood Pizzeria and is no longer Lucia’s Café on any of their marketing. I think they want to be less of a café and become the higher-end pizza place in Westwood village, and it’s working. This place is really different than the other Westwood pizza spots, their menu has more fancy options than the simple cheese and pepperoni options at the pizza places in the area. When I visited the restaurant in the past it’s décor is a lot more like a modern-meets-rustic restaurant than a typical basic Italian eatery. Definitely a pizza place you could take someone on a date. We ordered the Lucia’s Gourmet Pizza, the Garlic Chicken Pizza and a side of meatballs. The delivery arrived in less than an hour, it only took about 40 minutes which was great because everyone was starving. The Lucia’s Gourmet Pizza came with a ton of toppings that made for a very unique pizza. It had tomato, basil, red onion, cheese, avocado and shrimp. I have never had avocado or shrimp on a pizza before but I was a fan. The Garlic Chicken Pizza was my favorite though, it had chunks of chicken breast, tomatoes, red onions and freshly minced garlic on a thin crust pizza with a creamy garlic sauce.YUM. The meatballs were the least exciting for me because they were decent, but nothing I would go out of my way for. I would definitely recommend this place if you are in the area and are looking for something more interesting than the typical Italian fare.

Been here several times. I wish I could give it more than three stars. Here’s why: The portions are generous, almost unbelievably so for the price. It tastes good. Simple as that. The staff is pretty friendly. You can get some pretty late eats here from the guy selling pizza slices for 99 cents after 10pm. Why it gets three stars instead of four: There are flies around, which is off-putting for me. No don’t know where they come from, but there are enough for me to not want to eat inside. Be prepared to wait quite a while for your food, the service is not that fast. The food is inconsistent. You could get an amazing salad one day, and the next all that is served is «mediocrity» with dressing on the side. Simple example: I get the Cobb salad which is an amazing deal at $ 10 for the big bowl of greens and goodies, but sometimes the eggs are perfect, other times they are boiled to death. If the fly problem were solved, and the food was more consistent, this would easily get a 4th star.
