I enjoy there catering! The taste is awesome. The cooks here enjoy the flavor of good good. It’s a bit more oily than I need regularly, yet who doesn’t enjoy Chinese food anyway! The staff is wondering and I will be eating here soon instead of catering!

I’m a big fan of this place. Just came here twice and my last visit was on Saturday night around 6PM. Got seated right away and ordered my food swiftly. I ordered the Salt & Pepper Scallops and Vegetable Chow Fun. All are wonderful and tasty. The salt & pepper scallops were spicy and simply delicious. It is so flavorful. Parking lot is small that make it hard to find place to secure your vehicle but the street offers a huge area but weren’t so safe. I still love to come back anyway.

best chinese-american food everrrrrrr alterations to dishes are not a problem, they cut the tops of the to-go boxes so the food stays crispy, the delivery is fast and easy, you can pay at the door with credit card, and everybody is very friendly. however, i’ve only ever ordered delivery. my favorite dishes: salt and pepper shrimp honey glazed shrimp(honey sesame?) cashew chicken thank you for being so awesome

I just got food delivered and the delivery driver was extremely rude. He didn’t smile say hi nothing ! He had a frown and rushed me to pay him ! I told him to stop rushing me and he rolled his eyes as if I was such a bother to him ! That’s his job he doesn’t have to act like that. Food is expensive. I ordered 3 items and it came out to almost 40 bucks. Fried rice is good but very oily. I don’t like bashing a business but his rudeness caused me to come Unilocal my experience!

This is our go to spot for Chinese food in LA. We love the family style tofu and the curried noodles. Everything we’ve ordered has been delicious actually. My wife and I are both vegetarians and they’re very sympathetic to our dietary restrictions. So glad to have this restaurant in the hood.

I went into green dragon just to try the food out which was exceptional. I don’t eat other people’s fish yet they prepared the freshest fish I’ve ever had. They have a deal where I pay every Monday 48.00 And I pick up a special prepared lunch every day of the week. It comes with soup, egg roll and entrée. They’ve introduced me to meals I would have never ordered thus missing the great tastes of there meals they offer… This restaurant is 5 star, and I have traveled all around the world. You won’t regret stopping by and the staff is great.

First time here! I called in my order for pick up and my order was ready when indicated. I had the kung pao chicken w/brown rice from the lunch special menu… what a deal…7.95! Plus, you even get an eggroll & soup. It was a very generous portion of food for the price, I even had leftovers. The food itself was tasty and the staff was friendly. I think I found another workweek lunch spot! Also a plus is they that there offer healthy choices here(which are clearly listed on the menu) or you can modify the lunch special and waalaaa!

Every dish we’ve ordered from here is delicious. We usually get the kung pao chicken, sliced fish in spicy bean sauce, veggie egg rolls and soft tofu in brown sauce. Occasionally we get the honey sesame shrimp — so good! The delivery is always on time and the prices are about average. I have spent a lifetime trying to find good Chinese food, and here we have found it, with delivery!

I like the food here. It’s not super creative or anything, but it’s solid, fresh, familiar dishes, clean tastes, good. We called tonight to order carry out. It’s Mother’s Day. I told them I’d like to place and order for pickup. She said, «it will be at least and hour and a half.» Really? If it’s a holiday, you’re open, you’re going to be busy, staff up! Good food on a holiday as any other day. Normally food here is ready in 20 minutes. Like I said, it’s not super creative menu, and they’ve got it down. Other than tonight. On to Master Chef on Hill Street.

Green Dragon is great. I passed by it for many years — assuming it was just another strip mall Chinese place not worth trying. Chi Dynasty in Los Feliz was my spot(the one at Americana was a disaster and closed). But after reading great reviews on GD I decided to give it a try and was pleasantly surprised. The food is very good. It’s much better to dine in or pick it up. When they deliver it’s not fresh. Pork Dumplings. Honey Glazed Shrimp. 2 best things I’ve had here.

My family has been here about 6 times and the staff already knows our favorite order and brings out our favorite drinks immediately. There is a wide range of Chinese dishes making it good for a diverse group of diners, conventional to adventurous. We will continue to come here. And now that we know they deliver, it’s on! Part of our regular order: Fish with black bean sauce Steamed fish and vegetables Sautéed green beans

american chinese. We love this place. It’s consistent. Pork fried rice is really tasty as is their chicken dishes. It is just really expensive though you get a lot of left overs. My only knock is the lack of combo platter options hence the price.

Whenever this place pops up in my mind I’m besieged with violent urges to desert my kinsmen and declare myself as officially un-Chinese to anyone willing to listen. If you actually enjoy the food here, please remember you are scraping the very definitive bottom of an extra greasy and decidedly non-authentic barrel. Which is totally fine by me(god knows I love me some faux-Chinese or faux-Mexican or whatever bastardized American version of a cuisine there is), but it’s just unfathomable to me as to why anyone would pay good money for food here that they can get from Panda Express. Before you angrily declare that I am a pompous, self-important snob looking down on a hardworking, sanitary dining establishment, I’ll have you know that: A) You are completely right B) I’m not blaming the owners. It’s not their fault that I am too delicate for the stomach-churning, grease-and-sweet-sauce laden, heavily improvised(but not improved) version of Chinese food. 0 stars for the food, and 2 stars for the service.

Great food! Clean, good portions & great speedy service. We had: Chicken Lo mein Sautéed garlic string beans BBQ pork with snap peas & jicama Everything was delicious! Cooked perfectly, and seasoned exceptionally. Chinese food can be greasy and over salted… And this was neither! The Lo mein was my favorite part of the meal, yet everything was excellent. The whole restaurant is clean. Clean restrooms, clean drinking water(which is a huge thing to me… Idk if it is for you) Would definitely recommend, and will definitely be back! Parking is the only issue as there are limited spaces.

I have been here many times before and the food is usually pretty good. Today I ordered chow mein with vegetables along with some other dishes. The chow mein tasted like it was«old» and microwaved. I took one bite and sent it back. After receiving the bill I noticed that I was still charged for the dish, not a problem though, I have plenty of money. When I was paying up front I told the owner that the chow mein did not taste good, she then proceeded to tell me that everyone likes that dish and she doesn’t care. I have to recommend people beware of complaining about anything here because you could potentially get a rude response. They have always been all smiles when receiving my money, but when there is an issue with the food I saw their true colors. A simple breakdown. I made a comment about a dish not tasting good, I got a disrespectful response, I no longer will patronize this establishment.

Ordered Chinese broccoli with side oyster sauce and orange chicken. Seriously 5 stars alone for the Chinese broccoli. The hot tea is just right and not too strong. The staff are real nice here. There’s parking in the strip mall running along Colorado. I cannot highly recommend any other Chinese restaurant in the entire area.

Let’s get one thing straight, Eagle Rock Green Dragon is American Chinese and it is as good as it gets! I LOVE this restaurant. It’s simple, has all the comfort foods you’re looking for and then some! There are tons of items on the menu, try them all! The Szechuan pork is really yummy, so is their all white meat Orange Chicken, Szechuan green beans with pork, Kung Pao Chicken, House Special LoMein and almost everything else on the menu. The lunch specials are insane, it comes with a gigantic egg roll that’s somewhere between a taquito and buritto size, egg drop soup which is seriously delicious, white rice and of course the entrée. It is very popular for lunch, you can order ahead for pick up, dine in or have it delivered. Keep in mind that when you dine in they will hustle as fast as they can, but the service can be slow at times since they only have one waitress and one or two bus boys, so be patient and know what you want to order. The atmosphere is clean, cozy, plain but welcoming. I recommend this restaurant for lunch, dinner if you’re with family, friends, ha even a date. There’s romance and fun coming to Chinese restaurants, maybe not a first date, but I think it’s fun ordering a lo mein and some orange chicken for two and just chowing down chatting. Super friendly & engaging staff that even in the midst of their busy lunch rush they still manage to smile and welcome you. They are very very attentive to customers and run the show professionally. A bunch of people know and love this place, there are a lot of regulars who frequent here. I only wish I lived closer to this magnificent Chinese restaurant. Tips: The parking lot gets full pretty quick, also it’s kind of tight. I saw a few cars parallel parked on the inside, not sure if you’re actually allowed to do this, but people seem to think it’s ok, parallel park at your own risk.

Salt and pepper fish Szechuan green beans Chow Mein… That’s what my wife gets us for dinner in bed or in front of our Netflix pick once in a while, and Green Dragon delivers it promptly in highland park. It’s a treat! Someday we’ll order it another way, like in person, at the table, while speaking Chinese, but for now it isn’t broken, so we’re not fixing.
