The food is great, but staff is not very friendly and they’re SUPERSTINGY with their servings. And both times that I went I didn’t even get a fork! This place sucks

What has caused such a change in customer service?! I’ve been coming to this Panda for years. Came into today and I had to practically beg for the food I ordered because they kept forgetting things. I was patient and said it was ok at least 3 times and they had an attitude the whole time. Clock out and go home if you don’t want to work. Will look for another location ASAP!

Just went to this location, which should have opened at 10am. We stood at the door for 10 minutes and were ignored by employee JAZ. When she finally let us in and took my order. She was extremely rude and and gave me like 4 pieces of orange chicken for my entrée. When I asked her why it’s such a little portion, she stated that was the correct amount I should get. I ended up just leaving and not even getting the food.

Disappointed with the customer service, mainly. I used to go to this Panda Express when I was younger and when I brought my girlfriend and myself to check out the new renovated restaurant, their customer service was a bit… well…not at their best. They got my orders right but two of their entrees were not prepared. I overheard customers wanting Mandarin Chicken and there was a wait time. To me, that was my first time hearing such thing. My girlfriend got herself an angus steak entrée and her order was before mine. When we got to the cashier, I got my orders before her’s and I asked the cashier lady what happened to it, she said it wasn’t made. I would love to comeback to this Panda Express but seeing how customer service was today, I don’t think I would come back at all.

Everything is good the only bad thing is the way the workers are with you! Disrespectful they get you mad before you eat

I occasionally pick up from Panda Express and today 9⁄26 a Saturday I thought I’d try there online ordering. It was easy and you can pick a time for pick up. I ordered for 7:30 pm and got there a few minutes earlier. I felt like a king, I walk straight passed the line to the cashier and showed my email receipt. A young lady, Carol, apologized saying it would be ready in a few minutes and a young man, Alex, came with a paper cup to offer me a drink while I was waiting. Wow! I have never been so well treated in a fast food joint ever in my life! a few minutes later, Carol came from behind the counter, smiling, bag in hand, to hand me the food and I was out the door. Now that’s service!

Nice place with great customer service. The food is really good and the amount of choices are huge. Take your time and make the right choice with the orange chicken okay. The place has a decent amount of tables so you can enjoy the food on the spot. The location is really nice too. I feel the place is well secured. Enjoy and please don’t forget to invite me.(:

I’ve been coming to this location for years, and while generally speaking the people here are nice, they could do FAR better at expediting service. Case in point: I went in today with my daughter to order a simple child’s meal of Veggies, Chow Mein and Rice. A transaction that should have taken no longer than 3 minutes. Granted, it was lunch rush… however, you’ve got people ordering 2, 3 or 4 plates at a time per person, to go. They make NOATTEMPT at prioritizing the line by order. It’s simply as you come, served, wait then pay. Absolutely ridiculous. I made mention to the manager in charge and the best I got was a sorry for the wait. So there I was, with my daughter… waiting… and waiting…(while her food got cold) for them serve up more food to the people ahead of me waiting for more food to be prepared… with no help what-so-ever to [push us to the front of the line and get us out of there. I told the Gent at the register(nice enough guy) I thought we should get a free meal from it. … Denied… And seriously… we have been coming here for years… I guess if I had been lucky to have not gotten a receipt… oh well… Oh… and this location terminated the Hot & Sour soup as well. Lame… Maybe after the Square Facelift of the location they’ll get it together again.

This is my go-to Panda Express, just because it’s the closest(they need to open more in NELA and downtown!). And for that reason, it also tends to be really packed for most of the day. This location is a hit or miss anytime you go. Recently, however, I’ve noticed that this Panda doesn’t serve as much as they used to. Is there a new policy on servings? Also, what’s with the lack of choices. Amp up your game Eagle Rock PE. South Pasadena’s is better!

I’ve always had good experience at this Panda Express, This is one of my go-to Panda’s when I’m craving a quick– freshly cooked Chinese food, their location is quite convenient with plenty of parking, it shares the same lot with our neighborhood grocery and a few other small businesses in the area. They have made great improvements in this location, the place looks a lot cleaner and brighter. The food is always fresh, hot out of the pan(Hello Orange Chicken & Beijing Beef!). The employees here are okay, some more cheerful and pleasant than others but nevertheless no one has ever been rude to me. I like this neighborhood Panda Express, yes, it may be a fast food but hey! give credit where it is due, the food has always been good, hot and provided a nice filling dinner especially when I spend OT at work and can’t make a home-cooked dinner.

Nothing express about this place. It’s 12:30, lunch time for most… Yet, I come in here and they have nothing ready, which is why I am writing this review. Waiting 10 minutes so far, because they don’t have the chicken teriyaki ready or egg rolls, or the rangoons. Oh, and they also couldn’t break a 20. Where is the management? Workers are extremely slow!!! If I could give them a zero star I would. Where is all the good, fast, friendly customer service???

Healthy Fast Food! Today’s selection is from @PandaExpress which is under 500 calories but really fills you up. Double String Bean Chicken Breast with Veggies on the side. Price $ 6.80 Plus I love their Internet Ordering, they have an «as soon as possible» order time. Skip the line and order online. This location has a fresh and modern look to it. #Lunch #Under500Calories #Under10Dollars #FastFood #Panda #PandaExpress #NoLine #WokSmart

Great local panda. Love the food. I always end up ordering much more food then I can eat myself. The orange chicken is always at the top of the list of things to order.

This panda express is okay. Sometimes its good sometimes its bad. Service is kind of slow and you’ll find yourself waiting a very long time before they take your order and sometimes there won’t be a wait. Broccoli beef has changed a lot and so has the orange chicken. Its really a guessing game with how your food will come out tasting.

2014 Unilocal365CHALLENGE — 234⁄365 New location, great food, and I was surprised that the woman working there was nice enough to ask if we wanted to wait for a new batch of chow mein even though there was enough for the next 2 people. Unfortunately, there is not enough seating for the amount of people in here during peak hours. Not only is there no seating but the line gets so long it’s out the door. And like a few others have said, sometimes the workers can be a little inefficient. But overall, it’s a good experience.

This is like all the other Panda Express the Kung pao chicken, orange chicken is the same here like other places but for those who is here for the first time. This is good fast food Chinese food. You can get half fried rice, white rice or chow being. I like the half and half. Kung pao chicken is hit and miss some days it is spicer than others but I always get yellow mustard To mines. The orange chicken is just sweet and fried so not healthy and lots of calories.

I sometimes believe my local Panda Express was designed by a savage soulless non euclidean being with a hatred for human efficiency. This location gets extremely busy for the dinner rush, made especially evident by the eight or so feet to the counter that is completely jam packed with people. The counter is approximately 4 feet wide facing the customers. You can see the rice, noodles and vegetable sides as well as one of the monthly $ 1 extra charge entrees. Imagine this at the bottom of a long L. When you get to this small counter you realize that there are no actual menus that detail the various entrees on display on the far side of the L. This is the point where it stops being a food service line, and becomes a Rube Goldberg device of epic fucking proportions. The staff will stare at you blankly while you attempt to psychically garner what items might lay in the pans beyond. It then breaks down into two scenarios, both of which take place with a hoard of people angrily staring at you because you are keeping them into the smallest food line area in Eagle Rock. Scenario A: If you are familiar enough with the Panda express menu of Americanized mall«Chinese» food, you can order menu free. They then pour the sides(if I couldn’t get a bowl of hot vegetables I wouldn’t even come here) into the cardboard box, mark your desired entrees on the box with a pen, and put the box of to the side so that they can pick it back up, or a random worker appears confused as to the whole situation. Scenario B: If you don’t know the Panda menu things get a bit more exciting here. They stare at you blankly after asking what you want, and look at you confusedly if you move to examine the far, and far longer, side of the L. Should you tell them that you need to look, there is a sort of hushed nod among employees and they pass the box on down with only the sides. In either scenario the initial employee, after they have hit a critical mass of boxes, or another employee(who will inevitably be doing something non-essential as the dinner rush is in full swing) will wander in and start reading the boxes, opening and closing them to check on contents and occasionally adding contents from one of the bins. At this point, almost without fail, they will run out of things. More random employees will appear and disappear through the chain of command, your box will be opened and closed 3 – 5 times, ensuring that it is properly lukewarm. On a good meal they actually manage to keep the line in order and not bump people forward because they have gotten the boxes/writing/random hobbits system confused. If you make it this far without aneurysm you will be asked if you want additional sides. If you ask for«Egg Rolls» they will inevitably ask you«Which ones?» and point to the clearly labeled«Egg Rolls» and«Spring Rolls» bins, respectively. They always seem bewildered that I am bewildered at the question. I could clearly read the sign that said«Vegetables» and«Chicken Mushroom.» Somehow«Egg Rolls» is beyond my acumen to understand correctly without prompting. Eventually you will make it to the check out counter where they will either get you out very quickly, or accuse you of having the double order of Beijing Beef five or so times. The latter is usually reserved to when I am with my wife. I always order the 84 ounce soda pagoda, and always wonder why I did when the Diet Coke line is half empty and tastes like«New Coke» from the 80’s. Special bonus: The gentleman in the Winnebago from my earlier BK review frequents this Panda. He sits right by the door and crushing initial line, offering a delightful bouquet of pre-industrial sweat and man stink. I believe he can contact the non-euclidean architects with a combination of crazy talk, eating his food off of the empty plastic bag it came in(instead of the Styrofoam box) and practicing what may well be a form of divination that involves cutting up his egg rolls long ways with a fork and rooting around in them. I am unsure if he «serves» the dark masters that control this Panda, or is simply attempting to communicate with them to unknown purpose. I am afraid I do not have the heart to explore further.
