Amy is an AMAZING artist AND instructor. I have taken two of her classes and let me tell you… I cannot paint but Amy teaches in such a way that I can understand and actually produce pieces of art that look legit. She’s also hilarious and patient and has such a passion for art that is contagious. I HIGHLY recommend The Teal Canary for any group event or one-​on-​one. Such an awesome, local business.

My husband and I went to his third cousin’s (I think!) 30th birthday at Teal Canary. It was a blast. For $ 30 per person, we were treated to a step-​by-​step instruction of a painting. Maybe it was the vino (it was BYOB) or maybe, just maybe, it was our individual awesomeness, but everyone’s painting ended up being different.
The owner was a competent and encouraging instructor. I have about zero artistic ability but I ended up with a passable painting.
It’s a fun time, especially with a group of friends (or new friends!) over some bottles of wine, with paint brushes in hand.
