Street Food Cinema

Boyfriend came from New York and I wanted to do something fun and I found Street Cinema on Unilocal and read all the great reviews! And yup. it was totally awesome! It was well organized and fun! The screen was huge and visible no matter where u sat. sound system was great! Food trucks were awesome and so yummy. It’s quite a while from the beginning until the movie begins and that’s because we have to wait for natures light to turn off but the Q&A, music, food, and ice cream was a great way to pass the time. Comfortability is up to you :) I can go on and on about how great it was!!! It will be a tradition for my boyfriend and I every year… loved it!

Attended my first Street Food Cinema event last night. We got here right at 5:30pm because we didn’t have tickets and there was already a long line.
Once we got in we picked our location and set up our blankets and pillows on the floor. If you bring your own chairs (they sold some at the door as well for $ 5) you have to sit on the sides. They also sold waterproof blankets for $ 20 at the door as well. We went on 6÷13÷15 so it for a bit chilly at night. I suggest bringing a sweater and an extra blanket to cover up with if its going to be chilly at night. Check the weather. Also, you can BYOB and food. Some had brought a picnic basket.
The food trucks were pretty diverse at the event. We got food from Street Kitchen food truck which seemed to be the most popular.
This is a fun event and I will definitely go to others!

This event is incredibly well organized. Everything runs super smoothly, people are very friendly and it’s a guaranteed good time. You can bring your own drinks and snacks or get food and soft drinks from the food trucks which are always delicious. I’d recommend dressing warm, bringing extra blankets and if you like wine, bringing your bottles. Can’t wait to do it again!
