The tacos here aren’t great but they aren’t bad. The chicken is the safest and the carne asana is really poor quality with pieces of fat mixed in nicely to fool you. The pork taste very strong and it’s not your tradition carnitas cooked on a spinning rotisserie. In addition they put a lot of chopped onions to make it seem like there is a lot of meat and hardly any cilantro. If your overall hungry or drunk and not expecting a high quality cut of juicy tasty meat then go ahead just don’t expect much. I respectful the hustle but this place is nothing special. He drives a nice enough truck to buy better quality meat.

Tacos made by people from Eagle Rock. Homemade style Mexican food at reasonable prices. You can even call in your order! Cash only. But it is family owned. I’ve lived in eagle rock my whole life, and this isn’t fancy, and it isn’t gluten free, but it if filling home style Mexican food.

Amazing guys! Exceptional customer service. We placed a huge order and because of the amount of food they had to make they missed to place our ordered rice in the bag. As we arrived home that was the only time we knew that the rice was missing. They knew how important the rice was for my son and because we lived close by they actually dropped it off in front of our house! Hands down… food is high quality. It’s the only place I would order my savory mulitas and tacos! Thanks Eagles Tacos! You deserve all the success in what you do!

So… I’ve been here 3x and they have screwed my order up 3x. The first time I came here they forgot to add cheese to my tacos. The second time I came here they forgot to add onions and cilantro to my tacos. The third time, I basically got a bunch of onions on my tacos and my husband ate a disgusting burrito. I have given this place 3 chances to get it right and they can’t come through. I guess that’s what happens when you have a child working the cash register. It’s all cool and cute until an order gets screwed up. No Bueno! Won’t be coming back. Not sure why this place has almost 5 stars. I will hit up the taco truck across the street. This place has mediocre tacos at best. Nothing to brag about!

Nicest people. Family business. This place is a real LA gem. You eat awesome, well price food in front of a muffler shop. Hope they never change a thing.

This is literally the best(maybe only?) muffler shop taco truck you will ever find! Hands down! I love their veggie tacos and salsa verde! I just wish the also served horchata.

These dudes are awesome. I have never had a bad meal from them. Very nice guys and are always happy to see us. It does help that my husband grew up with them, but besides that, the food is always good. The Meats are always juicy, tender and so flavorful!!! I would eat their food everyday if I could.

The only taco truck my boyfriend and I would go to. The people are so friendly and they are always happy to see us back. We usually get the tacos and burrito with a side of chips and you can’t forget the frijoles! My favorite is the Al pastor tacos and their tortilla chips are something else! Ahhh so delicious! It’s making me hungry writing this review *drool* yum yum yum!

Yawn. What is special about this place? Nothing. It is not cheap — $ 2 street tacos. The red salsa tasted like Frank’s Red Hot Sauce that is meant for chicken wings — very vinegary. Had the al Pastor in tacos — unimpressed. Nothing like the Bellevue Steakhouse serves. Had a carnitas quesadilla — nothing like Tacos La Estrella down on Fletcher in Glassell Park. With their regular appearances at the local Famer’s Market and the steady flow of drunk Oxymorons from Occidental College, this truck has wandered too far from real street food to get more than 3 stars.

Great tacos and mulitas. I get chorizo on my nachos with extra cheese too! They also keep it real with the Mexican coke bottles!

Best taco truck I’ve come across! Their prices are beyond reasonable. I always order their al pastor tacos and a carne asada quesadilla– can’t go wrong!

This is the BEST taco truck I have ever eaten at. EVER. The only better Mexican food I have had is from my girlfriend’s grandma. And, the prices are on the LOW side for a taco truck. Seriously, a huge plate of nachos and a burrito is $ 9, and it satisfies my girlfriend and I. Just be aware it sometimes closes early if it’s a slow night, so don’t wait until the last minute.

Had this place for the first time a few nights ago. Oh man I can’t wait to go back! There are nothing but positives to discuss here. The staff is hilarious and EXTREMELY friendly! They made us feel like family! The portions were fantastically large for the price. I swear I could bicep curl with the bag of food we ordered. Everything was outrageously delicious. Seriously, probably the best Mexican I’ve ever eaten. And I’ve eaten my fair share. It was pretty spicy, but im all about that. Just be forewarned; it’s legit. We tried the Carne asada, al pastor, and chicken. All excellent! I’m looking forward to trying a few more of their offerings like carnitas and tripas. If you’re in the glendale/Pasadena/eagle rock area, do not hesitate. You will not be dissapointed!

Went here for the first time last night as I just moved to the area and all I have to say is, this is definitely my new go to. The guys who own the truck are extremely nice, we joked about how it needed to be as good as my grandma’s, and let me tell you, not a single ounce of disappointment. The nachos(carne asada) were delicious, we got a burrito too(el pastor), they were both sooo flavorful. It IS cash only so stop at the 7 – 11 first if you don’t have any on you! I’ve had my share of Mexican food from food trucks, but this place blows them all out of the water.

Very late post… Man those 2 guys workin that truck, are freakin Awesome!!! Before the Oinksters, there was a place called Jim’s 10+ years ago. That was where I met them, then they relocated to Pete’s. And finally!!! An establishment of their own, I’m so happy for them. Hard working Mofo’s. On to the food: tacos, burritos, tortas, mulitas, nachos and other essentials, are freakin delicious. The meat is so flavorful, just the right amount of seasoning, a perfect balance and that GREENSAUCE tho! Always hits the spot, especially after a night of drinking. If there’s something you want but not on the menu? More times than not, they’ll cook it right. Located in a muffler shop on Colorado Blvd, There’s an area with tables n chairs so you’re not just standing. Great food, great service, Great prices, can’t complain. Leo’s & Rambo’s is overrated! Check these guys out! The food is Sublime.

Without a doubt, the best burritos from a truck that Eagle Rock has to offer for the veg heads. A few of the guys that used to work at Pete’s now own this food truck and they are doing it right. They are nice, friendly, fast and make a hell of a burrito. I come here every now and then and they remember me and my girlfriend so it’s really nice for them to recognize us. I always recommend my friends here and anyone else looking for a veggie burrito. Keep up the great work guys
