Visited the new store in Old Town Pasadena. The ice cream wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t really amazing either. I guess somewhat average. I tasted multiple flavors but was not impressed with any selection. The service was great, they were so very patient that I felt obliged to order at least a scoop of ice cream. The price isn’t too bad for a scoop of ice cream in Pasadena, but there are many other choices here to choose from, and unfortunately I don’t believe I’ll be returning to this store.

Finally I got the chance to come in to try this place. I love the concept of having ice cream sandwiches, only the cookie I had was pretty hard. The ice cream was pretty good. The girl that attended me was really nice. Will I come again? Maybe, I just hope there cookies are not as hard.

I am a sucker for agood ice cream sandwich! I was at the Granda Hills food fest and saw this truck and had to try it. This was my first food t ruck dissapointment! The cookies were extremely hard and stale. In addition, the taste wasn’t even great at all. The ice cream was simply okay. I ended up having to just toss the cookies because it felt like I was going to break a tooth. Definitely do not recommend. Save your money and go somewhere a lot cheaper and better.

Had Paradise Cookies & Ice Cream come out to Pasadena American’s Opening Day and they rocked! Loved having them there, amazing ice cream and cookies and the kids loved it. They were friendly and on-time and would recommend them to anyone who likes sweets! Thank you.

I was in the mood for some cookies and their red truck caught my eye and just had to stop by :) I got a brownie + half a dozen cookies of the following: 2 Chocolate Chip with walnuts — my favorite 2 crushed oreos cookies 1 white chocolate — my mom already attacked the white chocolate one first when she spotted the box on the table when I got in, lol! 1 classic chocolate chip cookie I like the cookies — they were slightly harder, but that’s the consistency needed in order to hold the ice cream in between. However, they’re great for dunking in some unsweetened almond milk. Next time, I’ll try it out with ice cream. MUSTGET: The brownie was awesome! This one was definitely my favorite. A lil burnt around the edges and ooey gooey inside. Love that kinda brownie :) would have loved if they had a brownie with nuts in it. Overall, I did this cookie truck. Next time, I’ll try it out with some ice cream. Just got the cookies and brownie for tonight while dunking it into some unsweetened almond milk while watching Mob Wives: Trust No One — Reunion Part 2 :)

Perfect. Ice cream sandwiches and brownie sundaes with homemade ice cream on wheels. I had the pro crumble cookie with mint chip and chocolate chip cookie. Loved both cookies. Mom had the brownie with mocha almond fudge ice cream. Brownie was very moist and perfect on top. The mocha almond fudge, had a VERY strong coffee flavor. I hope I see this truck again!!!

NO… just no. I’ve been wanting to try this truck, and it finally ended with disappointment. Red velvet cookie was hard and tasted slightly burnt. Horchata ice cream was fine… but you shouldn’t mess that up. I also never understand why places serve ice cream sandwiches with HARD cookies… after the first bite, all the ice cream is forced out from all sides. Doesn’t make sense. Service was super unenthusiastic… that should have been a sign…

Sugar on wheels? How can I say no? I just can’t, not to ‘new’ sugar. Discovered the Paradise Cookies and Ice Cream truck this weekend. How to decide. A double scoop? A sundae? A cookie ice cream sandwich? Look at all those cookies. Chocolate chip. Butterscotch. White chocolate. Red velvet. Snickerdoodle. Oreo cream. Sprinkles. Chocolate peanut butter. OMG. I am SO screwed. Uh oh, my turn to order. Deep breath. I sampled the horchata ice cream. Mmmm… I got: double scoop, horchata and my fav, salted caramel $ 4.25 white chocolate cookie. I couldn’t resist. $ 1.25 The horchata wasn’t overly sweet and salted caramel did not disappoint. And the ice cream portions are huge. The white chocolate cookie was soft, perfectly chewy, and nicely breakable. It was cookie and ice cream PARADISE! My friend also got horchata ice cream and was very happy. Their cookies are made from scratch throughout the day– $ 1.25 each or 6 for $ 6. Thankfully I resisted THAT. I wish one day, just for the hell of it, I could down a double decker– 2 scoops of ice cream sandwiched between 3 cookies! But I know that’s insane, even for me. Damn, how am I ever gonna kill my sugar addiction when things like Paradise keep killing my attempts?! ;)

The red bold color on paradise truck got my attention ASAP! Ice cream sandwich custom with their homemade cookies made right inside the truck. Pick your flavor of ice cream and you can mix your flavor of cookie, both can be different so your able to taste the awesome buttery cookie they bake. I got mocha ice cream with white chocolate and cranberry and regular chocolate chip cookie. Mmmmm eat them together or separate, you can’t go wrong. Had to try their brownies and I am so happy I did, moist and chewy. Just wonderful and they had a pretty long line.

Cappuccino cookies are the best! I only wish that they could come to Orange County. Maybe once a month at least???

Paradise Cookies is NOT helping my sugar addiction or the fact that I am trying my best to lose my «padding» to fit into a bridesmaids dress next week. Sigh. Darn you Paradise Cookies for baking chocolate chip cookies so pillowy soft that melt in my mouth. No to mention that perfect oatmeal raisin, sugary snickerdoodle, smooth pb — no discrimination here; I am an equal cookie opportunist when it comes to you. It’s a good thing I don’ t see you the time or I’d blow up like a blimp.(Self-control, what’s that?)

I’ve had chance to try Paradise Cookies for twice now and I really was excited the second time I saw their truck in downtown Pasadena. Crispy on the outside but with the right amount of mushiness on the inside… Those girls really know how to bake an excellent cookie! For $ 6, you get a half dozen cookies in various flavors and they are all great. I would like to try some semi-sweet ones but I didn’t see any in the truck. Overall, their cookies are a wonderful mixture of texture and taste!

Let me run you down my thought process about Paradise: I’m walking out of UTLA. «Hmm, I didn’t eat lunch yet. I could go to Togo’s, but I would have to sit down and eat there. Or I can go to Chipotle, but I just had it not too long ago.» «Huh? There’s a roach coach over there. Well, I’m kind of hungry and wanted to try something new. Oh, hey, there’s a menu stand so I don’t look completely awkward, deciding on what I want to eat.» «Hey. This truck looks cool. It’s sweets, but I didn’t get to eat lunch yet. Ah, screw it. Sweets is it.» And that’s how I found Paradise Cookies, a complete accident. Parked on the street behind Togo’s. Just looking at the menu and the prices, it kind of reminded me of Diddy Reese, back in the days of college.(Those Bruins Unilocalers out there will know what I’m talking about). And I was tempted to get something BIG, but decided that since I didn’t eat lunch, I should probably get something small. Being a cookie truck, I was amazed at how CLEAN it was. Everything look brand spanking new, including the truck itself. I guess roach coaches have evolved to a whole new era(or that I’m so used to calling them roach coaches, I always forget that you can call them food trucks, if they look THAT nice). The lady behind the counter, who I believe is also the co-owner of the truck greeted me as I placed my order for a Thai Tea float. As she was gathering the ingredients for the float, I knew at first sight that the white chocolate cranberry cookie was calling out to me and I had to get that sucker into my stomach. The lady informed me that she was out of milk for the float and asked if I wanted to have it without milk or if I wanted to order something else. And there goes another thought process. «I had Thai Tea without milk, and I know people add the milk to get that signature orange Thai color. The float DOES come with vanilla ice cream, so it could melt it down a bit. Ah, screw it.» And I ordered it without the milk. After I paid my $ 5 for my treats, I let the float melt down a bit, and Instagram/Facebook the picture. Sure enough, I had several conversations and likes about the drink and was happy that I did get the float, even if there was no milk. The cookie itself was pretty good. Not too soft and not too crunchy. A perfect balance of the two, knowing that this cookie IS homemade, but knows how to cater to a public. I tend to like my cookies soft; occasionally I like crunchy stuff, so this cookie gets an A in my book.(Diddy Reese will always get the A+, but that’s another review for another day.) The float itself was PRETTY awesome. No big chucks of ice, no warm tea that would instantly melt the float and I noticed that I got two scoops of vanilla ice cream, instead of one. Possibly to make up for the fact that no milk was in there. I loved the ice cream mixed with a touch of the Thai tea. Love the entire float itself and was tempted to go back and get a second one. If you EVER see this truck around Pasadena/San Marino, I would HIGHLY recommend checking it out, because this may be competition in my stomach for best cookie truck/shop.

Oh @ParadiseCookies am I in paradise? I spot fresh baked cookies and ice cream of many different and tasty flavors! The Paradise Cookies truck was another food truck that I got to try at the go2bat4LIFE event at Dodger stadium. This was one of the trucks that was easy to spot because it was bright red and it also had a super long line. I quickly got in line after seeing all the fresh baked cookies and the gigantic ice cream treats that everyone was getting. I chose to get an ice cream cookie sandwich for $ 4. I chose a white chocolate cranberry cookie and butterscotch cookie with English toffee ice cream. Despite the big crowd, it didn’t take long for my order to come out. I liked that the folks on the truck read out my order before handing over the ice cream sandwich, to make sure that my order was correct. The ice cream sandwich was huge and delicious! The English toffee ice cream was so creamy. The cookies was crispy on the edges but soft in the middle! I liked the white chocolate cranberry the best. I liked the sweet white chocolate and the tart cranberries. They mixed well together and made for a great cookie. The butterscotch cookie was also good but the butterscotch was a bit too sweet for me. The ice cream sandwich from this truck was one sweet treat at one sweet event and I definitely felt like I was eating something from… oh paradise :)

Cookies and root beer floats? Orange floats? Didn’t have room for the cookies, but the floats were pretty solid. Nothing special– but very, very solid. Quick turnaround too. That’s an easy 4 stars.

It’s so simple, it’s paradise … creamy ice cream between fresh cookies … nirvana. Paradise comes in different sizes and shapes and with Paradise Cookies the paradise comes to you in the form of huge scoops of rich Ice Cream and fresh-baked Cookies via the Paradise Truck. That’s right. Paradise delivered to you. Not all cookies are available every day, however, these were the ones I saw: Classic Chocolate Chip, Chocolate Chip Walnut, Double Chocolate, Black & White, Chocolate Peanut Butter, White Chocolate Chip, White Chocolate Cranberry, Dark Chocolate Chip, Sugar, Cinnamon Sugar, Peanut Butter, Coconut Walnut, Butterscotch, Cappucino, and Oatmeal Raisin. That list is impressive, right? Well, now, just remember that these are fresh-baked cookies right in the truck. Warm and fresh cookies is more impressive, huh? Yep. The ice cream was a cool mix of classics and new favorites like Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry, Cookies & Cream, Mint & Chip, Chocolate Chip, English Toffee, Pistachio, Nutella, Coconut Pineapple, Horchata, Orange Sherbet, and Espresso Coffee. The ice cream sandwich is so big it comes served in a cup. You can basically mix and match cookies and ice cream into whatever combination you want. I went with a Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookie and a White Chocolate Cranberry Cookie with Pistachio Ice Cream. It was exactly as advertised … a mid-afternoon paradise escape from work. Paradise Truck proves the long-held believe that it is the little things that lead to paradise. At 2:10 p.m. on a Tuesday, it is in cookies and ice cream that we find paradise. Ahhhhh … paradise …

Cookies and Ice Cream how can anyone pass this truck up?, well I hope it’s better than Coolhaus as I wasn’t a big fan of theirs… Actually not in the mood for ice cream I opted just to check out the freshly baked cookies, and they have some cookies that would make this guy envious (6) Cookies — $ 5 — They seem to use quality ingredients, not too sweet, they don’t skimp on the Choc Chips, Nuts etc… Classic Chocolate Chip — Black & White — Chocolate Chip Walnut — Coconut Walnut — Nice texture and consistency, soft but slightly firm has body but not hard and sweet but not too sweet… Cookies are better than Coolhaus hands down, next time I’ll have to try the Ice Cream * R.I.P. ++ Cappuccino ++ Double Chocolate + Chocolate Chip Walnut + White Chocolate Macadamia ~ Butterscotch ~ Chocolate Chip Words cannot describe how much I love these cookies. And the ice cream is just a huge icing on top of the ridiculously delicious cake. I first found this truck at the Alhambra Farmer’s Market, and ever since began to look forward to Sundays wherein I would be reunited with these delicious cookies. And then I discovered that they have their truck’s monthly schedule on their home page, and I became half cookie monster, half stalker. Hunting down this truck whenever possible, haha. It is definitely worth a try. Your teeth and premature abs will cry for you to stop, but it is just too good. My boyfriend and I really just sat in his car after buying a dozen, and passed each cookie back and forth like high school kids hotboxing for the first time. A dozen is $ 10, and you can try pretty much every flavor! I really love the Cappuccino, Chocolate Walnut, and Double Chocolate. It sounds really chocolate-y, but it isn’t. Butterscotch was a little too sweet for my liking. Let me know if there’s other awesome flavors I have yet to try!
