Nothing is good about this store. Period. There was one register open with one cashier, although, there were four other employees walking around the store, two of which were managers. The cashier was extremely slow… And that’s okay considering her age. After waiting in line for 20+ minutes behind a lady who purchased 3 items I was informed that their system was«a little outdated» and was not equipped to use Apple Pay. That was okay too. My issue was that I was told I would have my transaction voided and go to the back of the line because my daughter was going back to truck(which was less than 15 feet from the entrance) to get the actual card because they could not do the Apple Pay. I had a large amount of clothing that I was about to purchase but when I was told I’d have to get in the back of the line I decided to take my business elsewhere. Thanks but no thanks Palais Royal. The one star is because it’s a clean, organized store and they had some really good deals. Unfortunately the poor customer negated it all.

Stood in line for 15 minutes. Only two checkers o.k. either side of jewelry counter. Both sides slow. The lady on my side asked a lady sitting in the middle to check me out. Lady continued to sit and just looked at me. After five minutes she called for a person over the intercom. Have no clue if it was for me. By this time, I had waited 20 minutes total. I put my items down and left. Items would’ve totaled approximately $ 80. Only reason I have two stars is the lady trying to get me help and apologizing as I left.
