Office Depot

Pretty much every time we go into this store to make a purchase of a piece of electronic equipment such as a computer or printer, the items that are on sale are out of stock. The employees are not even apologetic as they try to sell you something more expensive, not what you want or when they try to send you to another location. The standard answer is always «do you know where Texas city is?» Or «we can order it for you». This is equivalent to the old bait and switch scheme of yesteryear. If I wanted to order it and wait for it I would use Amazon. If it were my business I would certainly not put items on sale that I did not have in stock.
This is a recurring theme in this store. We have experienced it on several different occasions over the years. I don’t know why we bother even going into this store and one day will probably just quit wasting our time and the employees time and just click buy on Amazon.

A cracked iPhone on vacation is no fun, but luckily Office Depot can replace screens. It was a cheaper price than driving off the island, and the tech guy Jason had it fixed in less than an hour. He was awesome! Now I have a functioning iPhone that won’t cut my fingers.

Went here today to get a book bound as I have gone to several office depots in the past for similar needs. After waiting for nearly 20 minutes, someone finally asked if I needed help. I asked them about binding the book and the lady just stared at me and said «we don’t do that.» I pointed at the sign that clearly stated that book binding is done and she just «I don’t know what to tell you, but we don’t do that.» It seemed like a bit of false advertising in my opinion.

Not good, not bad. Probably has what you need, it’s an office supply super store. The workers are friendly and helpful.

Your typical Office Depot except I felt the need to review them and give them 5 stars because of their incredibly helpful and sweet employees. The boyfriend and I forgot we needed to print off a coupon for a ghost tour we were doing on Saturday night, but had no access to a printer at our rental house, so we swung by here one night. Even though we were hurrying, unfortunately, we only made it 15 minutes before they closed on Thursday night and not only were they INCREDIBLY patient while we all waited for the slow computer to pull the right webpage we needed to print from, but the employee was very courteous and helpful while having issues trying to print it off for us. We ended up not leaving until probably 10 minutes after they closed and because they had already counted the drawers, she didn’t charge us anything for the print. Amazing! I couldn’t even believe this. The woman was super sweet and talked with us about the ghost tours and creepy places around Galveston while we all waited.

Went to this place today to print, sign, scan and resend some business documents during our vacation. They were fairly busy but waited on us quickly. The guy next to us had a somewhat complicated request and not once did the lady behind the counter say «I can’t do it.» She actually figured out how to help him. That is rare in this day and age. We would definitely shop here again for our printing needs.
