I’ve eaten here quite a few times and the food is consistently good. I’m a big fan of the pad thai, drunken noodles and royal chicken. Lunch specials are a good deal.

Really delicious! This place was super quick, I ordered and within 3 minutes they had my food in a bag ready to go. Not to mention the broth was PIPINGHOT. They give you a plethora of toppings for you phở. Including the normal, sprouts, mint leaves, noodles, jalepenos, green onions, white onions, ect. Like most phở places, there was more than enough for 2 meals. I was so pleased to eat the second half the next day for lunch and be completely full! I have had a hard time finding a phở place I love in Denver, I had Houston mapped out to the T. But, this place will definitely be somewhere I return on the chilly days of winter!

I just had one of the best bowls of phở of my life. Shrimp phở. I don’t know what else to say in this review. Go here it’s good phở.

Super hungry and decided on grabbing a combination rice plate. The price was $ 13.50 which is high, but the plate was good. Fish sauce was average, but there was plenty of meat. A little freezer burn taste on the meat but otherwise tasty. Parking is tough. Service is passable but could be better.

My husband and I stopped in at ten minutes to 9pm(which is when they ‘close’)to order take out and when we went in they said«sorry we already closed see you next time.» Unfortunately with that first experience we will not return which is too bad because We were excited to try it.

We recommend the Panang Chicken and Thai Basil Shrimp. We eat here at least once a week, and try new things often… never disappointing. The brisket and meatball phở are both pretty incredible as well.

Absolutely love this place! They are always quick, the food is always reliably good, and the head lady there always stops by to see how the food is. The prices are also great, especially during lunch. If you like thai food, you gotta check this place out!

Awful. Everything is terribly greasy and staff is rude. Will never ever go back. Waste of time and money

Fast and friendly! Be prepared to pay for condiments. Yes, even a 2 ounce of Siracha.

The best place around DU to eat. Their Thai Spring Rolls are a must-try, I order them at least twice a week. There are all-day specials as well as lunch specials and both are great deals.

I’ve been to a lot of phở places, this place by far has the best broth. We order at least once a week. Best part they deliver in 15 – 20 minutes. Try it, you won’t be disappointed.

Excellent on all counts… food, flavor, service, employees, cleanliness, portions, pricing and varierty. The report on the finger in food is absolute BS. The parking is tough, but available. Well worth repeated visits.

Lunch and dinner specials are good… And the food is tasty. But depending on what I get, I sometimes leave with a massive sodium headache. Sometimes it just feels too rushed, and don’t look back behind the cashier– stuff is stacked everywhere!

Got take out today from Phở Saigon Star, and definitely got more than I paid for — I found a human fingernail in my rice. Easily the most disgusting experience I have ever had.

Decent food, stressful atmosphere. Also, not much parking in the area, but OK if you are on foot and want Asian food. Portions and offerings are catered to the college crowd, priced at bit high for folks who don’t quite know the value of their money, but everything is mostly tasty and hot. Very stressful place, though, and in retrospect I’d like it more«to-go» rather than dine in. On our last visit, the woman running the cash register kept shrieking at the customers in front of us who had forgotten to sign their credit card receipts. It was like there was some kind of huge, unmanageable emergency when there clearly was not. The place is oddly laid out, and it makes seating and walking around in the place very awkward, dancing around customers and staff. It’s fine in a pinch, though.

I’m still conflicted about this place. I had two experiences this past weekend, the first one with dining in and the other one with delivery(hey, when you want phở, you want phở right?) and this place is pretty decent. Pros: Lots of phở variety Right off University so easy access for DU students Delivery within a three mile radius Reasonably priced but definitely not the cheapest I’ve seen in Denver They have regular phở and Central Phở, it’s spicier cousin. Considerate with their packaging of phở for celivery Cons: No parking They didn’t serve sprouts, jalapenos, basil or lime with the phở when I ordered in, I was confused by this. Speaking of confused, even though super friendly, the staff seemed confused with what tables ordered. When ordering the Central phở, it was ridiculously oily and greasy seeping through the delivery bag Phở seemed to be missing a certain zing. So both experiences were ok but definitely not the best phở in town. I’m still confused why they don’t serve you all the fixings in the restaurant to doctor up your phở the way you want and why the Central phở was so greasy. I will probably come back here again due to proximity to me but don’t think I will be craving Phở Saigon Star specifically. PS-On the receipt it says«Thai Basil Noodle» or something of that like – whats that about?
