The best place to eat near DU. Great value and fresh food. They also stay open late! Broasted fried chicken is the best in Denver and a must try.

Just tried this place for the first time today! I ordered the chicken shawarma plate with fries and a Greek salad… the portions are big enough to share and really yummy. The chicken was aromatic, the salad was loaded with feta and everything looked and tasted super fresh. On top of that, I got it delivered in about half an hour!

Went here on a whim. I ordered the fried chicken because I saw it had great reviews, it was fantastic! The pizzas looked really good and so did the other Mediterranean food, I’ll definitely be back to try those. I had the chance to talk to the new owner briefly and I think some of the past bad reviews may have been due to mismanagement. The pita bread is made fresh on site. Highly recommend this place!

Their pita pizzas are delicious(and the only item I’ve tried here, on two separate occasions). Warm, cheesy, and around $ 5 for a very good sized one. However, the service is often glacially slow and not as friendly as it could be. It’s sometimes as though you are an annoyance to whatever conversation the employees are having, which isn’t a great feeling as a customer.

The food is amazing. I had the falafel platter and it was HUGE! The falafel sandwhich is also delicious(they grill the bread). My boyfriend loved the shawarma. The hummus is good. The pita bread is amazing. The Greek salad is pretty yummy too with lots of feta. I’m a baklava enthusiast and it was ok here. I only tried it once but it was much to dense for my liking. The best part: we rented a house 20 minutes from the restaurant and they delivered to us! They don’t deliver that far away in Texas!

Amazingly good food here. Shawarma is tender and the spices are great. The baba ganouj is just like my little old Romanian grandmother used to make. The staff is friendly and they are open till 3am.

Went there with my buddy. We had the chicken hummus plates. Fresh, good tasting and the falafels were so hot and crisp. And I was jealous of the guy who took home the pizza.

Best food in town, open late to people hungry at night. Their burger is very good and their fried chicken is delicious.

I can not comment on the food of this place as I was so grossed out that I couldn’t even order it. When I walked in, the guy was sitting on the food prep counter with his shoes on. Seriously, that should be some health code violation.

The falafel here is so good. It’s the best I’ve ever had! I always go here when I want good Mediterranean food. The pita sandwich are really good as well, you can’t go wrong by eating here.

I stood at the front counter for 10 minutes while the 2 guys working here were making an order and having a loud conversation in a different language with a bunch of their friends waiting for that order. The few times I actually got them to make eye contact they flat ignored me and continued what they were doing. No clue on the food, I got fed up after the shit service. Not trying it again.

Don’t do it. Everything tastes off the two times I went here, and the third time I left before ordering because there was a pile of raw chickens sitting in the back, unrefrigerated, just sitting there. Noooo no no no no.

Terrible food — hard, dry bits of chicken, cold/stiff pita, limp lettuce. Had the chicken shwarma pita — yuck ! Cook/cashier/waiter — wore the same gloves to wipe tables, make change at register, put together food.

I really like this place, they are very friendly with your specifications if you had. Reasonable prices, nice taste. This is a great choice of Lebanese dinner at a very night visit. Thank you Pita Fresh.

Being in this place at midnight on a Saturday night got weird quickly. While we were lucky they were still serving food at that hour, that is where the luck ended! Our order was taken by a disillusioned(read: rude) guy in a questionably bright, patterned vest(oddly identical to Seth Rogen’s best friend in the movie«Knocked Up»). Our group ordered the falafel wrap with fries, the cheese pizza, and the zatar pizza(the zatar is cheaper than the cheese pizza which naturally made us very curious). We took our order to go and immediately fell in love with the cheese pizza. While the falafel wrap was lacking falafel, the zatar was an extra odd specimen, so we phoned the restaurant to determine what ingredients made up the sandy/spicy topping. They would not tell us, so we hastily threw the zatar into the bushes for someone else to enjoy and spent dinner looking up zatar on Wikipedia. WIN!

Just moved to Denver, glad to find above average halal fast food among other items here.

Almost okay. A bit amateurish service but can be tolerable. I wish their tinder chicken was better cocked.

Pita fresh lives up to its name. You will get a freshly made pita. Everything else however, In Chef Ramsey’s words” what a shame”. The rice was dry but edible. The Greek salad was on the fresh side(remarkably,) the 4 strips of steak-um thin meat i got on my plate were almost translucent. Definitely a front for something suspicious going on in the back. From the very suspicious looking characters lurking around the restaurant(in and out). I’m giving it 2 stars cause i didn’t get sick or die after eating here.

I had the misfortune of eating here earlier, and I’ve been kicking myself ever since for not having gone the extra few blocks to the Jerusalem Restaurant, or to Damascus Restaurant when I drove past it. The service was basically OK, but the food was actually pretty bad. The hummus tasted like something from a prepackaged mix, the rice was meh and the chicken shawarma was actually fatty and kind of ick. Even the baklava was dry and mostly tasteless. Everything came with a garlic dipping sauce that was essentially nothing but pure garlic on steroids. While I like garlic, this was overpowering to the point I could only manage the smallest bite — and that stayed with me to the point of nausea. You want to know the most pathetic part of this story? That garlic sauce was so overwhelming that my skin is now reeking of garlic — After One Tiny Bite. The general gist of this story is that you can easily find a better Mediterranean restaurant, even in the immediate vicinity. If you should go against your better judgment and actually try this place, please, for the love of humanity, don’t go near the garlic dipping sauce. The only reason I’m giving this two stars instead of one — for the time being — is that my friend thought the broasted chicken was OK. I’m now going to soak in a bath and see if I can stop permeating garlic. Wish me luck.

Pita Fresh, you can do better but for now you only have 2SOLID stars in my books, though I wish, Unilocal will allow half stars for future reviews. Actually our experience is more like 2.5 stars… Was here with N, for an EARLYLUNCH. We were at Pita Fresh way before 10:50hrs. I ever recall they mentioned somewhere that Pita Fresh is opened at 10:30hrs. I even call Pita Fresh the day before we went there to confirm their opening hours. The OPEN sign was not lighted up, but we decide to head up to the front door and see how things went. This was on THURSDAY August 23rd2012. The door was opened, we entered and 1 of the staffs from Pita Fresh, greeted us. We choose our seats, decide to go thru the simple menu while the staffs try to organize what they need to do in the kitchen etc etc. We ordered and pay our food at the counter. From what I could recall these were what we ordered that morning : * Beef Shawarma Wrap($ 6.99) + Combo = Fries + Drinks($ 2.49) * Chicken Shawarma Pie($ 7.45) * Soda($ 1.69) This establishment was kept clean. The décor is simple and SOBRIGHT with YELLOW and GREEN paint. About 7 to 10 minutes after ordering, our food was ready. For the price, its looks slightly small to some. Now for the taste of the food, its just«MEH». The Beef Shawarma was lacking of flavor, nothing stellar nothing spectacular. The fries was over-salted for my tastebud. At least the food came out piping hot. Now for the Chicken Shawarma Pie, its just like a PIZZA filled with chicken pieces BUTLOADED with HOTSAUCE of some kind… Err, I thought this was a Mediterranean, Middle Eastern«FASTFOOD» establishment??? N was quite disappointed with her order of Chicken Shawarma Pie. I brought home the leftover of Chicken Shawarma Pie, but to my surprise Hubs like it… Hmmm. I might return with Hubs and perhaps see how my review might differ and perhaps order more from their simple menu. Come early if you can coz the parking space outside this establishment is limited. Above anything else, I wish Pita Fresh best wishes for their future undertakings, and hope their business venture will prosper many more years to come. Definitely Many More Room For Improvement, Pita Fresh. @119/2012
