Nice little bar. Good selection not to loud. Drink prices are good. They have a couple of pool tables and they also have outside seating area for those that want to smoke

Vinny the bartender cares about his people. Good guy. Had three beers on Thursday afternoon and had some bad ass roasted Nuts for $ 3.50. Wakes out spending less than $ 20. Good atmosphere, cozy feeling, great place to just hang out.

Peter, Mic, and Vinny make all the guests feel very comfortable, welcome, and set to enjoy a neighborhood bar feel with cozy corners and great TVs to watch the game. You truly feel like you’re in an old pub where you would expect to find harsh stories from character straight out of the book. If you’re looking for a nouveau riche with fancy lighting clearly you’re not in a bar to engage with other people and enjoy a relaxing evening. I took advantage of learning about this establishment through the whiskey pairing dinner, which is well documented in the myriad of photos. What can’t be seen in the photos, is the incredible service that is consistently applied throughout the bar. An empty glass doesn’t sit, the patron doesn’t have to ask for water, and regular stops by different employees to ensure a good time by all. They know their whiskeys, beers, and have a fun assortment of cocktails. A couple of highlight items on the menu: A good selection of Texas whiskeys, and an incredible selection of Irish whiskeys. As for price point it’s fair and realistic, they clearly want people to be regulars and are not looking to gouge people for a one time stop. As for the menu it’s very limited over all, but a fair selection of sandwiches that could match a variety of interests and desires. I look forward to going back and working my way through the various whiskeys they have.

Alright bar in a great location. Been here a couple of time real divvy not a huge beer selection actually I was kinda disappointed about that it’s an Irish pub. They have a nice selection of whiskey but I’m a beer guy. Looks like they have there regulars. Good thing it right next to some bomb ass tacos.

Horrible experience. My friends and I went here on St. Patricks day assuming we’d have a great time. While we were there a sloppy drunk guy continually tried to press himself onto the girls I was with. I asked him to leave us alone as we wanted to have fun and he got in my face but then walked away. Turns out the drunk man was the owner, Peter Kenny, who proceeded to have me thrown out by the bouncers and the owner himself sucker punched me as the bouncer pushed me out. When I asked the bouncers who stood at the door if this was common they shrugged and said, «Well he’s the owner…» Moral of the story, don’t go if you’re a woman and don’t want to be groped.

Cool place I heard about but visited for the first time today. Nice selection of bottled beers and good draft options. It has that pub vibe and will have to do until I make that trip to Ireland I still haven’t planned. My date and I(my lovely wife) split a Rueben and she had a margarita and I had a 20 oz Smithwick’s on draft. The Rueben was great on marbled Rye with everything you need & Russian dressing on the side. The bartender made a mean margarita. Good thing since Diana eschews beer. Parking, of course, is terrible on Lower Greenville so either glom onto the parking behind the building for other places & take your chances or valet nearby. It’s the only reason not 5 stars. Would Greenville be the same-even less appealing-without the parking challenges?

Great Carlsberg beer here! We made a special point to visit this pub while in Dallas. It was published on the Thrillest 21 Best Irish Pubs and they had my favorite beer. We sat at the bar and ordered Carlsberg. The bartender was friendly and took great care of us. I explained that Carlsberg was my favorite beer and you can’t find it in Tennessee where I live. His favorite beer was Yuengling and can’t be found in Texas. I told him I would bring him some on my next visit. We liked this place so much we bought the t-shirt.

The Dubliner is a great example of what I consider a neighborhood bar. You get a feel that the people who work there have a relationship with the regulars. Sometimes this can be intimidating for a newcomer but don’t let that stop you come stepping up to the bar and getting a drink. This is not huge spot but they make good use of their space. I appreciate that their draught beer selection includes some local rotators and they have a healthy Scotch and Irish(of course) whisk(e)y selection. It’s of course a full bar, but one of those 3 options are usually what I end up with in my glass. There is a food menu but that’s not the focus here. It’s a bar, not a restaurant so you should prepare yourself for a smaller menu if you’re here to eat. As far as the layout, there’s a nice patio in the front. Inside you have the bar on one side and then tables around on the other. It’s a pub kind of feel and so it’s a place to sit with friends and talk, watch a game or even just hang out reading a paper or a book. That’s not to say it can’t get loud but it’s the laughing and telling jokes kind of loud and not the thumpa thumpa club kind of loud. So if you’re looking for a more neighborhood pub kind of spot, I think you’ll enjoy this place. In my experience, the people here are friendly and are quick to take care of you. The focus is definitely on good service so it’s a win win situation and we all need more of those. Thanks Dubliner!

I planned my stay in Dallas around this place and I’m glad I did. Great draft choice and the staff was very welcoming. It was a bit loud, but I had a great time. Threw some darts, drink some beer, and I’m almost certain Olivia Wilde was our server.

This is the first bar we experienced in Dallas. My hubby and I walked in excited for a night away from the kids, and to check out this new city we live in. The menu wasn’t real impressive, but that’s ok because it’s a bar. My husband asked the bartender what was good, and he replied with«I don’t know you». Ummm ok… We’re just trying to pick a sandwich dude. The place was pretty dead, but it was early. The bartenders really acted put out, but one of the guys did warm up to us after we ordered a drink. It was our only drink. We ended up at The Libertine which was awesome drinks and food. We won’t be visiting The Dubliner again. There’s a lot of other choices out there.

The Dubliner is what I like to call a «hover bar». You hover by the TV to watch a soccer game, you hover by the fireplace to get warm during the winter and you should DEFINTELY hover over the toilet seats. Honest beer, good bartenders, with Harley and scooter«gangs» appearing outside on sunny Sunday afternoons. It’s a true neighborhood pub. Tip: they open early on St Pat’s Parade Day. If you want a table for the block party, arrive no later than 10am.

The Dub and I have continued our 16 year romance. I won’t go for a while, and then I’m there every weekend. The hot pressed ham and swiss cheese sandwich is about one of the best sandwiches I have put in my mouth. Delicious. I just love this cozy bar with all my heart!

For me, the Dubliner plays a pretty pivotal role not only in the Lower Greenville scene, but the whole Dallas scene, as well. A dark and warm environment welcomes you into the pub that resonates with Irish appeal. The small, but quaint pub is dominated with old-school beer signs, high boy tables, dark wood booths, and a comforting fire place in the back. There is nothing but warmth that envelopes you as you either sip a craft beer from their impressive tap or a warm cocktail during the winter months. Though, this joint is not a party place, it’s a spot to meet friends and share memorable times. Therefore, marking it as a Dallas gem. When wanting to just wind down and enjoy your afternoon or evening on a lovely Dallas day, this is where you go.

Legit. Great atmosphere and hits the mark as a traditional old world pub. I know it’s an Irish pub and I should have been drinking a Guinness but my friend talked me into what he called the«Best Manhattan in Dallas». He was right, go try one…

I love walking into a real Irish pub. Soemthing about this place totally relaxes you. Just sip on some beers and enjoy your time with your company. My husband enjoyed the brat hoagie, amazing soft pretzel and I love the cheese board. The food was really good. Great place for having fun, with friends or your spouse.

The Dub is one of my favorite places to go on weekends, and especially Sundays. They have a fantastic patio with a great view of Greenville that makes for some great people-watching. On Sundays, you can go and there will be vintage motorcycles and scooters for you to gawk at, too. The drinks here are plentiful, with a decent variety of beers. If you are a Bloody Mary fan, I hear that Tara makes the absolute best! They also have tasty baked potatoes and sandwiches, too. Parking is not easy, so be on the lookout for that. We all know how Lower Greenville is!

What luck. We captured a parking space right in front of this bar this Sunday afternoon. Wooo Hooo !!! Nice bar, very comfy, cozy, very friendly bartenders at our arrival just at opening time at 1300. We were the first ones there, but as the afternoon wore on, several others wandered in. BF and I had a Stella and a Harp, followed by a super spicy, delish Bloody Mary, My, my, very yummy and tasty. But, I am such an easy person to please with great service and lots of attention !! Yep, loved the atmosphere, the comfy bar chairs and the semi-quiet sound, with some not too loud music in the background. Another hot spot on Greenville Avenue, one of my favorite areas, quite out of my ‘hood; but that’s a good thing. I must venture out of my comfort zone more often. Addison is great, but can get sooooo boring !!! Toodles, have a great week! See Dubliner again soon!

The Dubliner equals good times anytime. I’ve been on many occasions and this place still fails to disappoint. Whether you are falling over yourself during St. Patty’s day fiestas or falling over the cutie who happens to know your friends(this is my embarrassed face), the Dubliner means good times for all. A long patio sits out front allowing for bar peeps to smoke(cigs – not crack), couples to snuggle in the cold(sick me out) and drivers-by to see all the fun that you are having and THEYARENOT! Booyah. The beer selection is quite impressive offering Chimay Triple Ale, Carlsberg and Murphy’s Irish Stout on draft. They also have combination brewtails like Priest’s Collar and Black and Tan, ciders, bottled imports from all over, wine, sherry, ports, champagne, and whiskeys for you toughies. I haven’t tried their hot drinks, but upon further investigation(i.e. looking at their menu online) they all sound tasty. I think I’ll come in on a cold evening to try a Knox Chox made with hot chocolate and butterscotch schnapps. Yummers. The food menu isn’t huge, but it is tasty. The cheese plate is awesome and comes with Drunken Goat, French Brie, Irish Cheddar, Stilton with Apricots, Maytag Blue and Hungarian Salami.(Insert drool here.) Other menu items include Welsh Rarebit, veggie, roast beef, french dip, Reuben sandwiches and a wee bit more, lad. So when you are looking for a chill spot to meet up with friends, sip on some brews, eat some grindage(sorry, just popped in my head) then go check out the Dubliner. It’s the shiznit. F’real dawgs. Important biznass: Happy hour is all day Monday and Tuesday through Friday from 4−7pm. Prices are knocked off a dollar for all drafts, domestics, call and well liquors.
