I tried this place today and It was ok I WAS looking to get my street taco fix and it did it for me good service

Stopped in for an emergency breakfast taco. I was starving, which of course is always a red flag for excessively positive feelings toward food, right? Sadly, the migas breakfast taco just didn’t do it for me. A moderate amount of scrambled eggs and some INSANELY greasy fried tortilla strips(visibly soaked and dripping with grease)…in a sort of uninspired flour tortilla… served open-face without a fork(which I realized too late after I’d driven off with my to-go order)…meh. At close to $ 3, not at all worth it.

Snapshot: 4.4÷5 Price Point, Quality 3.4÷5 If your looking to get your street taco fix, this is a Dallas staple. There’s location throughout the metroplex. You can’t go wrong with the breakfast tacos I recommend adding brisket. My favorite street are: pastor, carnitas and brisket. The chips are ok but the guacamole is good. It’s better then fast food

Let me start this review by saying that I am by no means a breakfast taco connoisseur. I am new to the breakfast taco scene of Texas. However, the breakfast tacos at Tacos Y Mas are pretty darn tasty. There is a good ratio of ingredients that all complement each other. I have had breakfast tacos where there is nothing but wet eggs with a teaspoon of meat(yuck). Not here! There is a little bit of a wait, but not too long. Give them a try!

This place is the pits. I’ve given them so many second chances to redeem themselves because it’s so close. This go round, they screwed up the order again and the carnitas dry and flavorless. There are too many good taco places in Dallas for people to waste their time here.

Had a taco craving last night so I drove a little further to go to this location with an inside area. Ordered the chicken fajita taco and buffalo pulled chicken taco + a drink. Over $ 9… A little steep in my opinion. Found it odd that there is a bar inside and a table to eat at but no chairs? Food came out in around 5 minutes… big let down. The fajita taco had hardly any meat, mostly bell peppers and the pulled chicken taco was not tasty, the meat tasted dry and could’ve used sour cream or something to make it better. I ended up spitting out a few bites and didn’t finish. In a town filled with taco places like Torchy’s and Velvet Taco, they aren’t anywhere close.

So I’m just going to go ahead and assume that every who has given this place more than 1 star has no type of taste buds or is going at a different time and getting different service and different food. I wish I could have put no stars, but fuck it Unilocal likes to give some type of credit I guess. I went in for some late night tacos on a Friday night slightly intoxicated, but not enough to miss what horrible food taste like. Anyway the service sucked, the food was awful, and I also found a bug in my Sprite :). I spent $ 20+ on what should have been on a pizza at the GAPC or some other late night taco joint. If you know what good Mexican street foods taste like then you probably shouldn’t come here… ever.

I guess the people and the food sucks at 2am! Dry ass food! For one and the people who work there had the«kill me now before i shoot the place up» face. BUTMOSTIMPORTANTOFALLTHEYARESOOVERPRICED. No joke 1 burrito and 1 quesadilla with drinks was over 20 bucks. Spending all that money i thought it was gonna eat the best in town but i was sadly mistaken.

A friend once told me he was sick of people telling him that there was a place that had the«best tacos in the city». His argument was that a taco wasn’t something that could truly be «the best». I was happy to tell him that Tacos y Mas was that very place. This location is similar to a food truck. You walk up to a window next to a menu wall and choose between what sounds the best. This will take you a moment. The fish tacos, whichever they are: tempura shrimp, mahi mahi… are amazing and the barbacoa tacos are often voted the best in the city. The foot traffic that passes by is a healthy dose of people down on their luck. If interactions with strangers asking for money makes you uncomfortable, this loss of a star is for you. Otherwise, call ahead and grab-n-go, but check your privilege.

My favorite breakfast tacos hands down. There is only limited bar top seating inside. Parking is ok if you can get one of the few parking spots. If not, be prepared to walk.

Great tacos, great hot sauces/salsas as well. The people who work there are nice. Drove from Far North Dallas just for some tacos one night.

Great prices a bunch of deals. The staff is kind and conscientious willing to offer assistance provide recommendations and answer questions. The salsas are very different in terms of heat profile and flavoring so be sure to taste all of them.

This place is bomb!!! I Was driving around, I grew up around the Dallas area always seen the place but never stopped but when I did it was a late night, not only did they have a sitting area but it was also very clean. Really gives you the traditional Mexican taco stand feel. I Absolutely loved this place and wanted to share that I went back the next morning and had breakfast tacos also I’m now about to place an online order!!!

This place has one of the best breakfast burritos! Get it with chorizo and egg. And it tastes even better at 2 in the morning after all the bars close. If you like spicy, try the second hottest hot sauce – the first one might be a tad too hot.

Very hit or miss. The tacos can be really good but when it’s bad, it’s bad. I ordered 1 taco and refried beans. They left out the bowl of beans. That’s 50% of the order. They left off the avocado on the taco, which was one of three ingredients that was supposed to be included. The salsa looked like it’s been left out for days; it was dry and sticky. Moral of this story: check your order thoroughly before you leave!

Delicious breakfast tacos! I ordered takeout from here and even after an hour in the car the tacos were warm and tasty. I got 1 of the sausage and one of the chorizo. They were both outstanding and for around $ 4 I don’t think you can get a better breakfast! They offer plenty of sauces to spice up your taco. The service was fast and the shop is clean.

I love tacos here! The best breakfast tacos I’ve ever had. Very good customer service and much larger than the original location on Ross Ave. the Fish tacos are very good and you can’t go wrong with the El presidente, the pastor and the pescador. Anytime I have a taco craving I come here. Great choices, great flavors and great prices

This place makes awesome food at a good price the Big D is my recommendation. The only thing is they haven’t been open for very long to have a real bad odor. The whole place smells like restroom. Its not a pleasant smell if you want to eat there. Most of the time you show up drunk when you go so you don’t notice the smell as much but I would love to eat breakfast there one day. A taco shop should smell like tacos not restroom.

I really like the new location better than Ross one. You can order online, pay with PayPal, and your food will be ready when you get there. The Ross location always has a wait and sometimes the credit card machine is broke. Not complaining, bc this happens with hole in the walls, but the new location has zero issues. We usually get the breakfast tacos. The chorizo is by far my favorite and has most flavor. If you like chorizo, you have to try one. I tried a sausag, chorizo, and jalapeño breakfast burrito. Was very legit and ingredients were fresh as always. It’s very heavy, so stick with tacos unless you’re looking for abusive levels of eggs and wanting to lay on your couch for the next 8hrs.
