Very nice selection of beer. Sometimes this place get too crowded during big soccer matches but it makes it even more fun. 4 starts because on a big soccer match occasions it’s a challenge to find good seats where the walls are not blocking the TV view.

Excellent food from the British Isles paired with great local and and imported brews. They also have a comprehensive Irish whiskey and Scotch menu with flights. I highly recommend this pub and it’s cuisine, especially if you are looking to get your Euro-fix!

So this is my favorite«go to» pub in Dallas… BUT they stopped serving Hofbräu on tap which was a big loss in my book. Much better choice than the Franziskaner. I hope they go back to serving Hofbräu as soon as possible.

Really cool atmosphere, great service, big portions. The atmosphere does feel like an Irish or British pub, with darker woods, slightly smaller tables, and European football playing in the background. Very chill. They also evidently have events like poker, pub quizzes, and live music which seemed very interesting. The service was also great — very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. The food itself was very delicious, with very large portions. My British husband and father-in-law enjoyed the shepherd’s pie and bangers & mash, while I enjoyed an eclectic cheese plate. They also have several vegetarian options available, and the menu had a separate insert for vegan and gluten free options, which was very nice. Parking was also not an issue since the shopping plaza had many spaces available. Definitely would recommend.

Comfortable patio, although that afternoon sun is going to be pretty hot in the summer. The loaded fries we got were really good and a nice value in both quality and quantity. they were served with about a ¾ cup of thin ranch. The British entrees look promising. The birthday discount is interesting. It’s available only on the Sunday immediately prior or subsequent to the actual day. The discount is your age(30 year olds get 30% off, etc.) and it applies to all the food on one check for your entire party. Finally, a reason to grow old. Alcohol prices are about average for this high-brow neighborhood. «20 oz. Pints»(poured at about 18 oz.) start at 6.00 and go up from there. The random ale I chose was $ 7.50. The Unilocal check-in discount is a hearty handshake from the manager. That’s a first — I passed.

Such a fun place to have a pint or two at! On this particular Sunday, I had the unexpected treat of Trinity Hall having live music playing while I drank and ate! Nice! The ambience is to my liking: dark wood; dim lighting; I chose to sit at the middle — being able to see the musicians and to keep tabs on the hockey game on screen at the same time! Service was great! Note to myself: self seating, you can imagine how long I stood and waited to be seated! Once seated though, let’s just say, my glass was never empty! As for their Fish and Chips: their COLESLAW was creamy and delicious; the fries were not greasy at all, the Atlantic cod was fantastic; yet the batter was dense and bland! Maybe with my lower expectations of the batter, I will still order it again! I will definitely be back for another good time to be had! See you there! Cheers!

This experience was such a BEATING! Came here with a friend to enjoy the St. Paddy’s Day crowd and we arrived early. We found a spot and grabbed a server who was passing by delivering lunch orders and I placed an order for cheese fries. The place was packed and they were all slammed so I was patient but after waiting about an hour and watching food order after food order pass by and get delivered to people who showed up after us, I finally asked our server what the status was on my cheese fries. His response was«Oh, yes!» like he had completely forgot about it. He said they would be right out. After waiting another 30 minutes, we gave up and moved to another section and the female server who was waiting that section was completely on top of her game and brought us out the cheese fries within 10 minutes AND also brought us out some complimentary chips and queso for our trouble.(That was very sweet of her). As for the cheese fries, it was nothing but average French fries with«queso» dribbled over them. They were pathetic. I was expecting something more like Snuffer’s where they melt actual«cheese» over the fries. Additionally, I paid $ 7 for a glass of wine at their outdoor cash bar but when I ordered another from the server, it was billed to my tab at $ 8. What a waste of a Saturday afternoon. If I never go back to Trinity Hall, it will be fine with me.

Tiss the day after St. Patrick’s Day it was very quiet in the house not a soul site. Dove in for a little brunch with a acquaintance it was just ok Ordered the grilled chicken sandwich that came with french dries of course. And the bartender was pleasant not a lot to say but it was cool i asked for a Mimosa which was small and not bottomless I will just say the grilled chicken had no seasoning to taste yet it was fresh and presented well. FF were hot to taste very nice. From what i saw when the weather is nice out it is a great place to sit out and chill with whoever. Thats all folks thanks for reading 3 stars

If you want an Irish Pub, this is definitely a good place to go. For starters, the parking is super easy. If you park in the free garage and walk the stairs or take the elevator up, you will be right at the doorsteps of Trinity. The service here is spot on. I’m not sure if the service was so great because I was at a private social gathering or not, but the waiters were nice and attentive the whole time. Along with the beer I chose, I ate on a few of the appetizers. The shrimp kebob was good, but it was the toast with cheese and pork(I think it was pork) that had me wanting more! The chips and queso were also pretty good. Overall, I had a good time here and if I’m in the area and am in the mood for a cold one in a pub setting, I may stop in again.

This bar has it all– Great food. Lotsuv choices – more than just pub fare, but LOTS of classic pub fare, too. The stuff that’s not traditionally Irish Pub-like is STILL good. Really good! Great servers. They may be busy, but they try their best to get the job done. No silliness, no nonsense. Great prices. Well – normal, anyway. Great alcohol selection(‘specially beer). It IS a bar, after all. Great ambiAnce. You can have the dark, woody, Irish interior. Or do a complete 180 and sit outside overlooking the Mockingbird Station spoiled rich kids(and those still trying to be kids). Either way, a good time will be had by all.

Fun place to go for a drink on a random weekday. My boyfriend and I frequent here when we’re in the area or just want a low-key night. They have an amazing selection of drinks and the service is great. Macrino was our waiter last time and he was awesome! The cheese fry platters are a must and they come with a ton of ranch so it’s a great group snack!

When I first moved to Dallas, 6 years ago, I was right around the corner from Trinity Hall so I would come by all the time. Now that I live a little further away, I don’t come as often but Trinity Hall is consistent. The food always tastes the same and the service is always on point. They have a great turn out during St Patty’s Day but can handle the crowd well. My favorite things to order are the Shepherd’s Pie and the hard cider. I’ve had plenty of friends drink the darker beers and love them. The atmosphere is eclectic and fun, patrons vary in age so the wide variety of drinks, along with the live bands draw in all kinds.

Currently sitting here on New Years Eve wondering how much worse the service could get. I really hate to bash on servers but this was absolutely ridiculous. Paul was awful to us. Not only did he mess up my fiancés drink order, but he forgot what we ordered. All through the night we saw him 3 times, but he went to all his other tables delivering hats, necklaces, blow horns, while we waited for a sign that he remembered we were still here. When he finally remembered, he dropped off the check and we had to ask for hats. His response, «oh we’re scarce» while the table in front of us who literally got there 2 minutes ago, already had multiple hats and necklaces. Thanks Paul! Happy New Year.

The bartender SUCKS is this old man I don’t remember his name but he was RUDE. My husband asked what tequilas they had he say that he barely serve tequila and it depends in how much he wanted to spend. You can tell he hates he’s job he’s very rude when u ask him for some he doesn’t even answer back I think he was been prejudice. If ur are black or don’t look white I guess you will get the same service. SAD

This place is so cute! The inside is decorated adorably, and the outside seating is on a balcony/patio area overlooking Mockingbird Station, which is really nice. We ate outside, and our waiter was super patient and helpful with us. I ordered fish ‘n chips and my friends ordered salmon salad, a sandwich, and a burger. My friend who ordered the salad LOVED her order, and my two other friends were disappointed with theirs. The fish ‘n chips are pretty good as long as you eat it with the tartar sauce. All of their food comes in large portions, and we all loved their spicy beef cheese fries, which comes as a shareable appetizer(which will make four people full pretty quickly). I’d hesitate to come to this place again soon, but I would like to visit again at some point!

This is a go to bar in Dallas. From the beer selection to the live music it’s definitely a great place to be. I love that it’s outside of Dallas’ more popular bar districts. I have found my favorite beer, Delirium Nocturnum, here.

This is by far the best and closest authentic Irish pub you can ever find in the DFW area. We have toured through Ireland 7 times which gives us plenty to compare to and Trinity Hall fills the bill to a T! If I were to have anything to complain about, it might be the volume of the live music. Sometimes it seems difficult to have a decent conversation but every-time I mention to my server the problem, they have always addressed it. Based on that, there is no reason to discount the 5 star review. We have never been disappointed! The Guinness is always served properly. the staff is top notch. And the food has never disappointed us. Be sure to ask to meet the owner Marius. He is a kind Irish soul that loves to mingle with his customers and since he is from Ireland, adds to the charm of your experience! Enjoy!

Great Irish pub. Maybe 2 dozen beers on tap. Seriously. Nobody in Dallas has a better Scotch selection. They have more Scotches than they do beers on tap. Tons of Scotch. I wouldn’t be surprised if they had every possible Scotch. They also have great food. Don’t get a burger. They have great Irish stew, shepherds pie, fish and chips(not my favorite), and corn beef and cabbage. They also have live bands Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. They have free roll poker on Mondays and Scotch tasting Tuesdays. If there is a soccer game, it is going to be on most likely. Just an all around great place.

My new favorite Irish pub(sorry, Fadó. I still love you, baby, but I’ve found a new boo). Here’s why: GREAT beer selection, vegan menu(whaaaat? Irish pub vegan fare? How does that happen?) and extensive whiskey list. I tried the buffalo chiken, the cheesy fries with the coconut bacon shreds and the shepherds pie. Ohmygoodness, the shepherds pie was legit! Get that. For real though. The buffalo chickn was tasty and buffalo-y. The ranch dip with it was dandy as well. I was disappoint by the fries with those coconut shreds — it was kinda«meh». But I’m not going to kick Trinity Hall out of bed for it. You’ve won my heart, Trinity Hall.

Our brunch experience was so awful that we couldn’t stop laughing and for that alone, two stars. The vegan brunch was absolutely horrible; hopefully these are just growing pains after adding a new menu item. That is forgivable but what is not forgivable is the waiter’s attitude. Not my fault. It was the chef. It was the computer. It was the way you ordered it. We heard it all. My favorite was him telling us if want tofu scramble the way it is described on the menu, we need to be sure and order it by listing all the ingredients. You know, like ordering a BLT by saying«I’d like a BLT with bread, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise.» If you’re still interested, I’m including a picture of the tofu scramble, 86 the scramble since all we got was a bowl of mushy tofu with a side of excuses. Oh and a $ 16 bill for some breakfast tacos. Cheers!

The location is fantastic. It’s right in the middle of Mockingbird Station. Twin Peaks is next door on one side and The People’s Last Stand is on the other. If you don’t live here or take the DART, park at the DART lot anyway because it’s free and there’s no time limit like there is in the garages at MS. They have a killer selection of beer. I always find something delicious. My only wish on the beer situation was that they kept some of the«rotators» a little longer. Just when I find one that I love, it’s gone never to return. The food is delicious. I love the grilled chicken sandwich. It reminds me of a cold Irish day with rain, bagpipes and grilled chicken. The outdoor seating is great for people watching and just chilling with a good beer. I love it when it’s not 100+ degrees out here. They have free wifi sort of. If you are unlucky enough to have Time Warner Cable like me, you can get online with you credentials for an hour at a time. I guess TWC is good for something after all.

Nice Irish pub above a strip mall. Underground parking is relatively easy to find and is FREE as compared to the limited spots outside(especially if it’s a weekend). Came here on Sunday at 3pm. The place was quiet and a little dark but plenty of seating. They have a patio for when the weather is good! Beer menu is exhaustive and food options are Irish. They do brunch on the weekends till 3pm and they were more than willing to accommodate our request even though it was past 3pm. Got the waffle scramble and fried chicken and waffles along with a couple of beers. I found the waffles and eggs to be ok(nothing wrong but I’ve had better). Our server was mostly attentive and gave suggestions on other dining places to try(I am new to Dallas), which was helpful. During our meal, an Irish band started playing music and some people started dancing. Engaging and entertaining! I heard this is a common occurrence during the week/weekends. They host trivia/game nights and show soccer games regularly. Their menu also has a lot of Gluten free and Vegan options. +1 beer selection and food options +1 friendly and accommodating staff +1 not cramped +1 entertainment included –1 server was too distracted and food could have been better(IMO)

Cool pub at Mockingbird Station with a TON of vegan and vegetarian options. I’ve had their vegan cheese fries and spicy cauliflower bites. My non-vegetarian brother and I loved it. They have a ton more vegetarian and non-vegetarian items! Next time I want to try loaded vegan potato skins! They also have some vegan desserts! Obviously, being a pub, it has a ton of drinks and beers. Great place to watch sports or hang out with friends! My favorite place to kill some time before going to a movie at the Angelika!

UPDATE: Marius of Trinity Hall, sent a review reply assuring me that there is no food coloring in their Bread Pudding sauce. It’s simply made with Whiskey, butter and syrup; which is absolutely authentic! With that new info, I’ve updated my rating to 4 Stars. The Bread Pudding is everything to me :-) and theirs is a good one. No wonder; it’s made from croissants & danish pastry! ORIGINALREVIEW: I’ve tried Trinity Hall a couple of times, but since I’m not a ‘pub’ eater typically it was primarily because of its convenient location to the Angelika Theater Mockingbird and… my first choice to eat was closed. The fish and chips are OK, nothing outstanding or crave-able. The Veggie Burger was a bit dry; but, the vegan Chiken Strips are tasty. I really appreciate that, for a pub, they do a remarkable effort to provide vegetarian and vegan options; even vegan beers; spirits; wine and cider! That is what will probably lead me to visit again and hopefully find a 4th Star. BREADPUDDING: The second time I visited I had the time to try their bread pudding. It’s a ‘rare and elusive’ steamed pudding –as compared to the typical that’s just baked– so the consistency is more authentic. The flavor of the pudding was nicely spiced. But, in the dim light of the pub, I couldn’t see the color of the Whiskey sauce until viewing the flash photos. WOW, that bright neon yellow sauce is alarming! I don’t know what ingredient brought that hue(besides unnecessary food coloring?), but it certainly doesn’t add to the flavor. Sometimes the Bread Pudding at a location can pull up my Star rating; but, not in this case. That sauce coloring has got to go! FORMOREBREADPUDDINGREVIEWS…

I like Trinity Hall. The staff are very courteous and they have all the things you’d expect from a good Irish pub — Guinness(my favorite), Harp, Smithwicks, Irish Breakfast, big screen TVs with soccer games on, and a great atmosphere. I came here a while ago when they hosted the Olympic Gold Medal men’s hockey game for Canadian’s living in Dallas. I’ve been to Ireland on several occasions and Trinity Hall is a great pub that I can visit locally and enjoy the experiences I had when visiting Ireland. And yes, my profile pictures is indeed me pouring a pint at the Guinness brewery in Dublin. It’s always a friendly place so hope to see you there.

A few years ago, we lost our go-to Irish pub in Cincinnati to a lease war between restaurants(a moment of silence for our dearly departed Claddagh), and it’s always a craps shoot how my husband will react when we try out a new pub since he’s still grieving his post-work sanctuary. And on vacation in a different state? Venturing into Trinity Hall Irish Pub was definitely a risk… But DIDWEEVERHITTHEJACKPOT?!? While searching Unilocal for a decent pub, we stumbled upon Trinity Hall, which also happened to have a live Irish folk band scheduled for a Thursday night when we had nothing else to do in the nasty February winter weather. We had little trouble finding the place, even though it’s on an upper level of a shopping complex, and parking in the deck was free! We arrived about 90 minutes before the band was set to play and easily found open seats at the bar. Let’s just say, my husband promptly forgot about his old bar when he saw the plethora of whiskeys available to him! Scads of beers on tap and in the bottle… if you can’t find something to drink here, you’re beyond help. I ordered the Smoked Salmon Savory(Fantastic. Absolutely fantastic) and my husband had the Fish and Chips, which he was really happy with — not easy to do, since as he will tell you, no one makes them like the Claddagh did(God rest her soul). Food was out quickly, and the service we had from all the bartenders on hand was great. But then… then the fun really started! Turns out we made it to Trinity Hall on the night Derek Warfield and the Young Wolfe Tones were performing. Mr. Warfield has been an Irish folksinger for several decades, and the Wolfe Tones are a première Irish folk group. This was NOT one of those little bands whose members all have last names that start with and O and an apostrophe so they think they’re Irish. This was LEGIT. And the crowd knew it. We had a fabulous time, clapping and singing along, making some new acquaintances of Dallas locals and Irish transplants, and people watching(which is made infinitely better the more everyone takes advantage of that great beer selection). Now in fairness, and as promised to the lovely owner Marius, who made very clear to us tourists that this was NOT a typical Thursday night at Trinity Hall, I’m sure that the atmosphere at the pub is significantly mellower most other evenings. But not only did we have a rip-roaring good time, even scoring a Hearty Handshake from Marius, we would absolutely go back any chance we get on future trips to the DFW metroplex. Great food, cozy atmosphere, jolly company, and all the whiskey you could want create a fabulous replacement pub for anyone grieving the loss of their previous establishment… or for anyone else who doesn’t get emotionally attached to a bar. Five stars for fun memories of our Irish-infused evening out on the town!

Being from Ireland and pubs being our hang out spots, it’s difficult to find a pub that even slightly mimics the characteristics of a pub at home. I’ve found a great compromise. The place has the same feel, décor and music as a pub at home, even the owner is Irish, which really helps! I’ve been here twice now, and found the atmosphere to be great, there’s no rushing you out, I could stay here all day, and they have a huge selection of drinks and some Irish food too! I had the Irish Stew the last time and my friend had an Irish coffee. Needless to say, the irish Coffee was properly made, whipped cream, brown sugar and good serving of whiskey too! The staff are courteous, and keep checking on you. It is a little on the expensive side, but as they say… you pay for what you get!

Dallas is riddled with fake Irish pubs but Trinity Hall is by far the better of the mockeries. Perched atop a strip mall with plenty of seating in the front patio/pedestrian walkway, there lies a so-called pub where at nights you can catch live Irish music, drinking and laughing away, while in the mornings you can wake up to one of the best full breakfasts you can find in the area. Irish coffee with either Bailey’s or whiskey will definitely do the trick too. This isn’t the place where you can party your knickers off and dance on top of couches and tables. At most people will be boisterous and will likely sing along if there is live music that night. The interior is all dark with a sort of old time décor, think papa smoking a pipe while enjoying some whiskey. They definitely have a selection of Irish Whiskies and Scotch malts that I usually just take one sip of and settle with drinking beer the rest of the night. The beer staples of an Irish pub are always on tap: Smithwick’s, Guinness and Harp. You can get a 10oz or a huge 20oz if you’re a freaking boss! They go up to 25oz so if you want to hang out and drink the night away without looking scantily clad, this is the place for you! I am a sucker for Irish pub food with a tall glass of beer and they have a great Shepherd’s pie that has the perfect amount of potatoes in it. My favorite is their Full Irish Breakfast, made with American ingredients according to the menu. I can’t eat the entire thing in one setting. It comes complete with two perfectly sized juicy bangers and black & white pudding. I do prefer my black pudding to be a little mushy but there’s is thick all the way through so the puddings just taste like a nicely fried sausage patty. The taters are pretty average and not seasoned at all, but that’s what HP sauce is for! The sauce probably can’t help the baked beans much which tasted canned but I am always down for some can. I love how they serve«back» bacon. It’s not a true back bacon but I’ll take it over the regular American cut bacon any day! Lastly, you can get your two eggs POACHED! Yeeeesss! They come in a small bowl so the yolk doesn’t touch your other food, but you can easily dip toast in it to get that yolk-y goodness. Oh boy, I previously ordered them over-medium until I found they could poach eggs. There is no other way now. I admit you will probably have to know what to expect to enjoy Trinity Hall. This isn’t Ireland after all and nothing will ever be as good as the real deal. However, the fact that you can enjoy a bit of the Emerald Isle right here in Dallas, along with other cultural food, makes me love this area even more. Even an Irish harp player shows up sometimes and they play soccer and rugby games on their projectors(check the website for events and showings)! Beer and Ireland, how can you resist?
