Just got into Brooklyn. Love the pizza! Try the pepperoni, such a great flavor. Nick was awesome. Keep up the great work!

Three words, OUT OF BOUNDS, I ordered a large pie, extra cheese sausage onions and peppers, this is in my opinion a 5 star pizzeria, if anyone from the food network reads this post, please check them out, it’s indeed a experience

Best pizza in NYC in my opinion, great prices, AMAZING pizza, and the meat patties (get it with cheese trust me) are fantastic. The workers are really nice and the variety of pizzas are really awesome.

First time customer and HELLO. Their grandmas pizza was pretty darn good. Guy working there asked if I wanted a fresh one and made one for me on the spot. Out in 15 mins and for $ 17 and some change, you get a massive pizza. The reviews hold true. Go to Luigi’s!

my vote for best traditional slice in the city… pies run a little small sometimes, but the plain and sicilian are perfect. Old neighborhood joint with a walkup window. This place is as good as it gets for a slice of Brooklyn in every possible way. Walk through the gated community, Pratt, while enjoying.

I have tried many of NYC’s top pizza joints and Luigi’s still ranks on the top of my list. I am sort of glad they haven’t made it on the top of many lists, it keeps their legendary pizza underrated and a local secret.

Me and the gerf went here, and she and I got the buffalo chicken ranch (which I highly recommend).
My girlfriend loooooves this place so I had to see what all the fuss was about, and now I’m glad to have tried it. The buffalo chicken ranch was great! I liked how the sourness of the buffalo was offset by the ranch so I didn’t have too much of a tang in my mouth (which I hate because I don’t do buffalo) but I was satisfied this time! My compliments to his pizza joint, 5 stars!

Delicious pizza I shared with family. Loved it! Definitely recommend this place to all people in Clinton Hill area! Yum! My cousins made great choices! Ricotta good, as was the plain cheese slice! More love coming at you, Luigi Pizzeria!

The Buffalo chicken pizza was spectacular! Every bite had just enough crisp and I can’t wait to go back there!

i need to try more of the pizzas. my margherita was good but not exceptionally flavorful. crust was crunchy, think and still doughy. i liked that the tomato sauce had chunks of plum tomato.

Legendary pizza. Literally. Our cutter pulled into NYC for drydock for a couple of weeks and a group of us went to Luigi’s, thanks to the reviews on Unilocal.It was our first « Unilocaled» experience and wow was it good. From that day forward we used Unilocal at all our port calls. We ended up eating here several times before we left.
To this day, my friends and I compare every pizza place we attend to Luigi’s and we have yet to find a better place.

Not all pizza is the same! Usually, I settle for pizza almost anywhere when I have a taste for it. Some were good, some were bad, some were decent. Luckily I found this place! This was a great discovery.
I ordered the Margarita Pizza and Plain slices. The pizza is thin and crispy. The flavors are delicious. The pizza isn’t doughy and oily like most pizzarias!!! Every thing is perfectly balanced! The crust is also crunchy! ¹⁰⁄₁₀ recommend this place. Definitely recommend the Margarita Pizza. Will come again~.

At first, I didn’t want to write a review because I don’t want people to know about my favorite neighborhood pizza joint than it needs to stay in business, but once I saw that over 130 people already reviewed it, I guess the word is out.
I’m about to make a bold statement, something I take VERY seriously.

Don’t believe me, try it.
Crust is crispy on the outside, fluffy inside. Cheese is freshly cut mozzarella balls. The Sauce, wow, the sauce. Sweet, savory, there just aren;t the words. I could sip it like a fine wine!
This place may be out of your way, and thats ok. Its worth the trip. Lucky for me, I can walk there!
Special mention to the buffalo chicken slice, a favorite of my wife, and for good reason.
TIP: they don’t serve beer but there is a bodega next door, you can buy a brew and drink it at the counter if there is room inside to wash down THE BEST PIZZA IN BROOKLYN!

Seeing all of the good reviews this place got, I was baffled when I showed up there. In the dark and rain, I saw a man get a pack of beer from the convenience store next to it and bring it over to the guys behind the counter, and I thought to myself, «This place? This tiny, dingy little room?»
Make no mistake, this is a –room-​. Cut in half by a counter, there’s a place to stand, and on the other side, a place where they make the pizza, take your order, take your money. Standing room only every single day, so get ready to take your pizza and walk.
I was feeling extra hungry that day, so I went Sicilian-​style, with thick, puffy crust. Two plain slices ran me $ 5.00, so the price was pretty average for a slice like that. Nobody said much to me, but I was offered a bag, which was appreciated (see: rain.) And then I started eating it. WOW.
What a slice of pizza, oh man. That thick crust, perfect. The sauce, it’s got that taste of being somebody’s grandma’s and boy was it cooked and seasoned to perfection. I’m usually not even that into sauce, but this was some delicious sauce. And this cheese — real cheese! Real, hot, melty, delicious cheese — abundant without being overpowering. I was literally licking my lips hoping to find a missed bit of pizza after I finished, it was that good. It’s a bit of a trek from my place, but I can definitely see myself making it for a product like this.

I decided to stop here for some lunch. This place is tiny more of take out place since there is no place to sit. I ordered two slices, a Sicilian and a regular drizzle with pesto. The Sicilian was good but nothing special, however the regular drizzle with pesto was delicious. The sauce, cheese and bit of pesto was the perfect combination. It was full of flavor and the crust was thin and crispy.

Might just be the best Sicilian slice I have found yet and the regular slice with the pesto sauce drizzled on top… brilliant! Yeah — finally a 5 star pizza place in NYC!

Best pizza in Clinton Hill, hands down. Left off a star because they don’t deliver, which is such a shame!

Is it because I had so much expectation for these pizzas thanks to these Unilocal review? Yet I’ve been a bit disappointed. I mean, if the only thing on which you have to be judged is the quality of your food (the place is just a selling place, the people are just cooks), it has to be great to get a 4 or 5 stars rating. Here, it was just good. The Italian sausage is tasty, the pizza itself is nice, but really nothing special. Don’t try to reach specifically this place. But of you’re in the neighborhood, you can stop by with no fear.
