Had my first experience last week and I can’t believe I have never tried it sooner! Mark the owner super nice and the place was charming. Loved the old time music, they were super busy but to be expected since it’s a great place. My burrito was super delish, and I’m a big burrito snub and it was so good. Love the crunchy hearty combo of the burrito and would come back here again! In fact I’m headed over now!

My favorite coffee in the Portland metro area. I get the shot in the dark. Great breakfast sandwiches too. I love the mini-crispy bacon. Friendly atmosphere. We generally find a table and play cribbage.

This place has mad good burritos and breakfast sandwiches. I went here for my first time on a 90 degree day. I asked for water and was told that I could get it myself at the end of the bar. I guess that their water dispenser was broken and when I asked for water again some middle aged red headed lady said«I’m tired of this» and stormed away. If you can deal with the employees shitty attitudes and aren’t thirsty then the burrito is worth it.

Wow. Awesome spot to grab coffee & some breakfast if you’re in the Beaverton area. We had the Crispy Bacon bagel sandwiches which, were amazing! Great coffee, yummy smoothies and friendly folks behind the counter make this place a true winner, y’all. So sayeth the Rockman.

Breakfast sandwiches were outta this world! Cream cheese, bacon, hash browns and eggs on an English muffin — genius and oh so delicious! Staff was also super friendly. They have tons of board games, too, which is a nice way to spend an hour or so.

You have to try the breakfast burritos! They are huge and delicious. The coffee is great and the staff is amazing, I really can’t put into words how amazing those little ladies are. I come in here everyday before a long shift and even when I’m upset and need a quiet space. I always end up leaving with a smile.

Great quick breakfast and the lady behind the counter was very nice. It’s hard to find a decent breakfast in coffee shops!

This is a great coffee shop. Very welcoming and friendly. Coffee and espresso are spot on. Try the coffee cubes if your getting an iced drink! The food here is always fresh and tasty as well.

Yum. I had one of their bagel breakfasts & a chai latte. Both were really good & the owner(I’m assuming) was super sweet! Can’t wait to come back & try one of their breakfast burritos!

Wonderful experience. Marc and the rest of the staff were friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Ordered a breakfast burrito, did not realize(although the menu said there was a smaller burrito) just how big it was going to be. A huge breakfast burrito with a lot of flavor throughout. Ambiance is pleasant. Will definitely be back for a visit next time I’m in Oregon

This is a great stop. I love that they have actual breakfast options, not just the muffins/coffee cake-type offerings that most places have.(Although come to think of it, not sure they have much in the way of sweet choices there.) I had a chai tea latte, which was wonderfully spiced with just a bit of sweetness. I also had a mini crispy bacon sandwich, which is a fried egg, bacon, hashbrowns, and cream cheese on a toasted english muffin. The sandwich is very good, but pro tip — if you take it(or any of their sandwiches) to go, don’t try to eat it in the car. The yolk is a bit messy. Good, but messy. ;) It’s worth stopping for a few minutes to enjoy it there, or get a breakfast burrito if you must eat as you drive because those have scrambled egg. Lovely interior with varying sizes of tables and a good mix between regular chairs and lounge space(soft chairs and a couch.) It was a little noisy as it’s a great gathering spot, so while I wouldn’t suggest it for studying it’s great to catch up with a friend.

This is a great little shop. It’s right down the street from my house and they have great coffee and great food. Just an overall relaxing spot and the owner really cares about his customers! 1 piece of advice, if you see an open seat you should snag it up quickly or someone else will.

First off we are visiting from Colorado and really were craving some breakfast burritos. From the moment we walked into this place to finishing our meal, we were in good hands! They had 2 mini burritos left. Yummy and bursting with bacony goodness! We got 2 coffees one lavender latte with soy milk and one regular toffee latte. No complaints just darn great food! The owner was incredible and you can tell how hard he works! We will come back!

There is not a ton of seating here, but if you get a spot, it is a great place to work for a few hours, which is good because it take a while to eat one of their huge and delicious breakfast burritos. They know the names of their regulars. Chilled out place with a mild warm happiness that is perfect for relaxing. And the regular brew coffee is the best I have had in the area.

This is a sweet little coffee shop. Others have been in this space over the years but I like this incarnation best. It was pretty busy at 11am on a Sunday. Coffee buddy and I were lucky to find chairs. Marc was at the register. Super friendly, he made an effort to know and remember our names, even yelling«Bye Janet!» as we exited. Nice. The iced half sweet mochas with coffee ice cubes were stellar. Really good. Bagel breakfast sammies were yummy. The egg yolk was still runny! I love that. There were a number of breakfasty options like burritos and english muffin sandwiches. There’s interesting art for sale on the walls. There are board games to play and a comfy couch. There’s ice water available to serve yourself. Only two drawbacks, that I could see: 1) it was pretty noisy and needs some acoustic tiles or fabric up on that cool industrial ceiling to ameliorate some of that. 2) we didnt see any scones, muffins, coffee cake, or similar sweet options. Maybe they were cleaned out, but if my teen had been with us she might have been sad since that is often her breakfast desire. The egg based options are appreciated though, and there was oatmeal or a few cookies available too. It reminded me of a pared down Java Mamas(RIP), which is a good thing. Friendly people, good coffee. 4.5 I got a punch card, I am totally going back.

Love this local coffee spot around the corner from my house. But what I love more than the coffee is the breakfast. I’ve had the breakfast bowl, the breakfast sandwich and the breakfast burritos, and all are awesome! Choice of meat; sausage, bacon, ham! Service is awesome and there is always a seat open and the day’s paper.

I just had the house decaf coffee, which was good. But their breakfast burrito was amazing. They call it the burrito with bacon, but it should probably be called the kitchen sink burrito. The flavor was fantastic and the burrito was huge. I only ate half, and I’m a pretty good sized guy. My son had the bagel sandwich which was delicious as well. He also had a white chocolate Americano which he liked. He used to work in an espresso shop and is a bit of a coffee snob. If he said it was good, then you can count on it. This place is definitely worth a try for their coffee and breakfast.

I came to get some brews and was told the brew will be coming soon. Beaverton always confuses the hell out of me so I was in need of a brew. It was a god damned scorcher out also, perfect time for an ice cold brew. I guess I coulda had a coffee… that’s brewed at least. But it’s not brew. It’s just not the same. I want a cold brew. A pilsner brew. Maybe a coffee stout brew. Hell I’d take an IPA brew. Not a coffee brew. Not a tamed brew. An actual brew, a beer brew. The staff was really cool about it, though. Said they were a brew person themselves. Said they couldn’t wait to get some brew taps going. I was like yeah, shoulda got some brew going before opening a business called«brew» something… they agreed. Should get some brew asap, right? So when Taming of the Brew can get some actual brew me and my Beaverton brew bros will come down for a few brews. Provided the brew tap lines are clean, the brew’s cold, the brew selection is a wide variety of brews for all kinds of brew enthusiasts, the brews are fairly priced and the brew tender is as nice as the first visit: Taming of the Brew may become this brew guys destination brew spot indeed! BREW!

Yummy coffees, nice staff, quirky seating area. I love that they have coffee ice cubes for their iced beverages. Their breakfast options are delicious and they have rotating specials that are always worth the gamble. A little on the slow side though. Don’t expect a five-minute stop.
