Normally I don’t do this, but this place had me irritated. In my search to find something yummy that wouldn’t make me feel guilty for eating it, Freshii came up on my mobile bandit radar. I was in the store for 15 minutes(no other customers) and they couldn’t place my order. Why would you subscribe to a service and not train any of your employees on how to use it? My coupon expired before she had the chance to enter it, and at that point I was just done. I didn’t order anything, I won’t go back, and I’m super disappointed. Clearly franchises don’t have the best quality control.

Food was good. Service was ok, but not as friendly or helpful as you’d like. Overall good experience though. I still recommend going, as it has large, very filling portions.

This place is very clean and presentable with a very good simple menu that has options without overwhelming you. The food is made to order and they use fresh ingredients. There are some reviews that say they are expensive. I actually disagree — I believe there is excellent value here for what you pay. One can’t expect McDonalds prices. You can get a good breakfast for $ 5.99 — that’s a great deal!

I recently arrived from visiting Toronto and a fabulous Freshii experience at each of the two locations I tried there. Unfortunately, today I tried Freshii on Broadway and it was one of the worst meals I have ever eaten. I had the Asian soup, which was water, overcooked corn and a few noodles. It tasted like bath water, with no flavour at all. I ended up throwing most of it away. So sad, as I travelled from a distance to try the BC version. Yuck…

Deliscious! I ordered the Buddha bowl and a carrot ginger juice. The ingredients were fresh and vibrant. I would recommend this spot for a quick and healthy meal. My only criticism would be that they use a throw away plastic bag to mix the ingredients in each and every time they make a bowl despite having compostable bamboo bowls and cutlery. Seems like they could come up with a greener way to mix the ingredients together but I appreciate their efforts at keeping everything else compostable. Would have been five stars otherwise.

There is a huge discrepancy between the photo of what you order and what you actually get. I ordered the Buddah Satay on more than one occasion and it is consistently disappointing. It is almost all noodles and noodle bits. It’s supposed to come with broccoli cabbage and some other things. This last visit there was literally two pieces of broccoli. I had to return my bowl on another occasion because they didn’t put in broccoli or cabbage at all. They often run out of ingredients and don’t tell you. Sometimes they try to make substitutions, and other times they don’t. The bowl comes less than half full, unlike the photos on their menu where the bowl is overfull and there are tons of yummy looking veggies. I think there was a change in management in the last year because it used to be a lot better. Service is slow and careless. Lastly, they always put a lid on your bowl even if you are eating in. Even if you ask them not to. I think this is very wasteful.

Open at 11 am Sat-Sun. Came for egg, spinach, goat cheese wrap. Super delicious A nice change from typical breakfast sandwich. $ 4 for small, $ 8 for large and asked if I wanted a nice salsa add-on complimentary. Very nice service !

Had a super Mediterranean salad and Carrot juice on a Broadway cool shaded patio! Servers were fast and very helpful with helping me decide. Coming back tomorrow!

Let me preface this review by saying that I really, really, really wanted to go and give this place a good review. So many businesses that I really like seem to get the short shrift by unrealistic expectations of Unilocal users, and reading the reviews for this place, I figured that’s all it was — oh was I wrong. Having some new dietary restrictions, I was desperate for something fast in Fairview that I could actually eat, and Freshii’s menu was the only place where I could get that. For that, I give them two stars instead of one. There are many reviews on here of slow service; they are not exaggerated. I walked in several seconds behind two others, and I think it was a full 15 minutes before I was leaving. We all ordered wraps — I haven’t worked in the food industry in years but I would bet money I could have made all three in half the time. The server took his time, and kind of looked bored and generally unconcerned about whether any of us might be in a hurry(I was). My burrito, the spicy Thai, was flavorless. I’m not a huge fan of sauces and I prefer most things plain, but this was still bland by my standards. It was 95% quinoa(which I guess explains the price) with some sprinkling of veggies. Because it was mostly quinoa, it was basically impossible to eat without it falling apart and getting everywhere. Finally, as if that wasn’t enough, there was a long, black hair stuck in it, pressed under the edge of the burrito when it was grilled. It was clearly from the head of my server, who I believe was not wearing a hairnet. So, yes, two stars. Only because this is the only place in Fairview where I could find a meal that fit my ridiculously strict requirements.

Got the soup thinking it would be served in a bowl. It was not. I had to eat it out of a plastic tub. It would have been nice to know that before I ordered. The soup was mostly tasteless and had no spice, even though it was called Spicy Lemongrass. Third time here, and there won’t be a fourth. The previous time my food came out lukewarm.

I love the concept and I appreciated how most of the items are healthy and gluten free which is good when you’re in a pinch and don’t want to do the horrible fast food thing. I am seeing a lot of places go this route. What I don’t like is the price point. I get that they’re trying to market a target audience but it is still $$$ that I can’t make it a regular thing on Broadway(sometimes I forget my snacks at home). I did buy the soup and salad. I make better soups. More spices are needed. If they’re going to charge a lot they should at least make it taste good.

Came in to grab a quick juice and be on my way. Place was not even that busy and it took them 15 minutes to make it.

I visited the Freshii on Broadway for dinner yesterday(Oct 27th) at around 6:30PM and had the Teriyaki Twist. The other thing on the menu I have tried before is the frozen yogurt. I liked the food, it was really what I was looking for– a fast and easy meal that had some conscious. I also love the frozen yogurt and would recommend it. The prices are fine according to me. NOW. I have to mention this because I was really disgusted by the cleanliness in the store. There was leftover garbage on two of the tables, and I walked around trying to find a table that was clean but all of them had food, grease and dirt on them. The floor was very dirty. I took some napkins and laid them across a table before eating. As I looked around I realized how very, very dirty everything was. Gross. There were two male employees on duty at the time. They were very nice and I have no problem with their service. However, it was not busy at all and other than me there were about 4 other people dining in the restaurant. Therefore I can’t understand how they could not wipe down the tables and throw away the garbage. It was really very dirty, I actually had trouble eating because it was so gross to look anywhere; if it was not raining I would have taken my bowl outside and had my dinner on a park bench. Are the employees very, very underpaid? Are they treated badly? Otherwise do they just really not care at all? I hope the root problem can be found. If they need a $ 1 raise to keep the store clean, then maybe the employer should consider that. I am not exaggerating and I seldom leave Unilocal reviews, but this I just had to bring to the attention of the business owner. It’s a pity because I like the menu. I will go back because of the food, I look forward to, hopefully, a clean place to eat.

Overpriced and underflavored. How can a fiesta salad, which costs maybe $ 3 to make, cost $ 9? It’s not even enough volume to make you feel full. Not worth it. My buddy had the felawful bowl. I never knew rice could taste so bland, and the felafel itself was amazingly like smushed bread. There are emboldened yellow jackets outside — better sit inside. I think I’m going to assume this whole chain just caters to the affluent who want something convenient and healthy. I hope my future workplace has other options.

This freshii franchise is poorly managed. The staff is extremely vacant and slow-moving. The normally-outstanding spicy lemongrass soup is inexplicably made with a sweet chili base and lemongrass is undetectable. Also several times the soup has not been at all blended so the flavor is at the bottom and the upper 4/5ths are watery. The last time I was there I added steak, which turned out to be strangely-colored and so rubbery it had certainly gone bad. When I asked for my money back I was refunded for the soup, but not the«protein». Very disappointed, will not visit this location again. Good thing there are so many other lunch options on Broadway!

The good: Consistently friendly and quick service. Lots of options and definitely tasty. The bad: I’ve been going to this location for over a year now and I’ve only noticed 1 ongoing issue — it appears only the week day staff members are trained to process app payments. Freshii encourages customers to earn rewards via the mobile app, but half of the time when I go to pay with it the cashier looks at it like it’s from outer space. Unfortunately more experienced staff or managers are not always available to figure out how to process the payment(like today). Perhaps a how-to guide by the cash register would be helpful for new staff.

Café-like salad restaurant. I order a Buddha’s Satay plus shrimp. The food is fresh and clean. I will try DIY next time!

I love the fresh flavours if freshii! It’s so difficult to choose what to have for lynx whenever I come here! I absolutely love the Buddah’s Satay, which is a delicious peanut noodle bowl with plenty of fresh veggies. It’s a healthy and scrumptious treat for a rainy Vancouver day!

Great, healthy food options from salads, wraps, to soups and frozen yogurt. Great to vegetarians and meat eaters alike. Their Thai peanut wrap is delicious and filling. Try it with rice instead of rice noodles. Salads are big and filling. Space is bright, clean, and has more seating than you’d expect. Fast service and healthy to-go lunch options if you’re on the run.
