Spirit Halloween Store

They changed locations this year, however, still on W.Broadway.
I came to this store every year ’cause when I am at a loss for ideas, there is always something that is inspiring. I find certain Halloween costumes in general to be overpriced for what you get, however, when you factor that most costumes for women can be doubled as cosplay for the bedroom, it seems worth it. I always laugh how every women’s costume somehow is made slutty. Since when did a Ghostbuster look like a stripper? The staff are always friendly and helpful. Everything in one spot.
It was a cramped store and there wasn’t much diversity in «themes» compared to last year. I actually walked away disappointed.

They have a variety of costumes, props, accessories, and more to choose from. I find since they change location each year, the variety of items will depend on the location size.
Staff is friendly and they have change rooms to try on for the right size.
Prices are a bit more (maybe $ 5 – 10 pending on the item) compared to other locations. That being said I find there aren’t as many stores that has the same variety in selection.

Fake blood, costumes, and Halloween decorations galore!
Spirit is exactly what you look for in a Halloween superstore. It’s quiet now but I’m sure in a month this place will be packed.
Prices range as with any costume shop — and do it yourself is still better/​more creative… but for the basics or last minute costumes spirit is where it’s at!
