It was a nice foot massage — first time there. I think that it was cut short about 10 minutes. Also, you pay first as soon as you arrive. It gives you the option to tip(how are you supposed to know if you are going to get good service at that point?). After the massage ended, I put my jacket on and the lady who gave me the massage was staring at me like she was expecting a tip… I would have given her $ 5 if I’d had any cash on me. I left and she followed me down the hall asking why I didn’t tip her? Kind of left me with a weird taste in my mouth. I usually tip for everything, but, I thought that this would be similar to an RMT where you don’t tip for this type of service.

It’s not just for feet! 10am-10pm 7 days a week! Affordable rates! Close to a major transit node! I had a full body massage and Leo was great. Simple clean room, and the massage made a huge difference for me. He used lots of expertly applied pressure to work out the knots and I feel so much better; so much more limber. I could definitely tell my cortisol was significantly lowered. I bet I will sleep very well tonight. Just one thing to keep in mind for those with scent allergies; their sheets were quite strongly scented from what I assume was the laundry detergent. Though reassuring for that fragrant, freshly washed smell, it was a bit strong, since your face is basically right on top of it during the massage.

ooookay then! So i am a runner. and my feet are a bit gnarly and love some TLC. But i can’t go out for pedis anymore because i lack many toenails and i’m afraid of the harsh judgement. BUT i heard an ultrarunning elite friend of mine(who’s feet are ATROCIOUS) comes here all the time so figured they are used to the gnarly! Three of us booked foot massages together. It was basically just us in the room until another woman joined. We spoke(and gasped) at a pretty normal level but that woman was NOT having it and reprimanded us for talking. **** wtf?**** So that was annoying. But otherwise, for the price(i think $ 30) it was AMAZING! Literally lasted like an hourly, was crazy intense and painful at times but SO needed. They all did a great job and I found it really therapeutic for my sore feet. But be warned, if you are there with friends you may get«shhhhhh-ed» by singletons or if you are singletons you may get annoyed by groups. Either way, just chillax and enjoy the madness.

The first time I went to Golden Feet I had a very painful massage but decided to go back and try someone different and now i’ve been going back every week to get my masages! Awesome and affordable place to go. You can get a package of 10 massages for $ 350 which isnt half bad imo. They even have a water tank with the option of cold/warm water.

I’ve been here a few times for a good, economical full body massage, but my experience yesterday was horrific. I asked the male masseuse to work on my shoulders and arms during my hour. He spent the entire time kneading my butt and thighs(I’m female) even though I asked him to work on my arms again during the massage. I told the lady at the front desk that he didn’t do my arms, and asked to be a booked for an additional half hour so that someone could address my arms. This time, she spoke to the masseuse to let him know what I wanted done. Even though I said he was too hard and the«massage» was painful multiple times, he would not let up under pressure. The bruises in the picture below are on both arms. Skip this place or if you must go, go to the female masseuses.

I have been going here since their previous location. I love that I can get the acupuncture /massage combo for only $ 50 an hour. Eric is great for acupuncture, but never massages hard enough. If you prefer a harder massage(like I do) and don’t want acupuncture, ask for one of the other guys.

First time @ Golden Feet and love that they’re in this new space so it’s super clean! Hope they keep that up. I had Gary for my 50mins foot reflexology and it was nothing short of amazing. I’ve had enough foot massages in the past where it feels nice during and half hr later, you forgot you had one. This one I could feel the difference after. They really know their stuff here. I also like the tip box, it’s anonymous and secured so you know it’s going to that person. My companion had James as her feet reflexologIst… also very good!

I love this place and come here quite often but by chance I got someone today that I’ve had a bad experience with in the past. He was supposed to give me a foot massage — and his name is Steven. And you should avoid him like the plague. He fell asleep through half the massage but brilliantly was able to keep his fingers moving ever so gently. And just like last time, he tends to wander his eyes and stare at your groin without shame. I like my massages a little harder than most but it felt like he was going to rip my skin off. Oh and he was also ‘pushing’ on my leg so aggressively that my chair started to face sideways. Funny, right? I had to adjust my chair back a few times so no chance of me relaxing any time soon. He also placed the stool that your leg goes on so awkwardly that my other leg kept falling off. Just don’t do it. Not even if he’s the only one working that day. Go smoke a bowl instead. Lastly, I called after I left to explain my experience and all I got was ‘oh sorry’ and she hung up. I’m giving it a 3 and not a 1 because there are so many others there that are amazing and you should try out — like Peter, Leo, Sophie or Eric! I still love you, golden feet, just amp up your policies and customer service just a tiny bit! Oh and don’t hire the creepers!

Who wants a body massage? If you’re looking for a place to relieve your aches and pains for a reasonable price — this is your destination. Golden Feet is a godsend. Their new HQ on Broadway is a nice upgrade to their old ground level venue just down the street. It feels very welcoming and modern and even has digitial clocks in all of the rooms so that you know you’re getting every minute that you paid for. Great idea! Although they also do foot massages, I typically go for an «hour» body massage(55 minutes) for $ 42 with Angela. She is my personal favourite. In her homeland of China, she was a professional masseuse — and it shows! Unfortunately, her license doesn’t equate to anything in Canada so she works here instead. Thankfully, there is a box for tipping each and every staff member so you can give them a little extra to show your appreciation. The only reason I am giving this review 4 out of 5 stars is because not all of the staff members are great at massages. A lot of the employees are hired with little to no experience in the massage industry but rather because they are Chinese, don’t speak English very well(or at all) and they need a place to earn some money. The good news is that if you hunt around, you’ll find somebody like Angela who knows how to work out your knots. There are a lot of masseuses here so make sure you remember which one you like and see them as often as possible before they find a better paying job!

The person working on my body the reflexologist, his name was Eric and he was AMAZING. He worked on both my feet and hands and also did some acupuncture. Highly recommend it. you could tell this was his specialty and he was a professional at what he did with years of experience. Also, the rooms are very clean and hygienic. Its a new space so its really nicely decorated, great lighting and ambiance. The only reason they lost one star from me is that the front desk person, a young lady, wasn’t very nice. I asked her a question and she was really jumpy. Maybe she was just having a bad day, but that was my experience with her. So, just be ready to not be greeted in the best way, but don’t let that take away from the experience with the reflexologists.
