Ok I’m being really generous here giving this place 3 stars. I’ve tried quite a few things on their menu and the quality and taste was soso. You can get this quality or better anywhere else but I, along with others come here because of the price. The price use to be cheap but ever since a year back they’ve been raising their prices over and over again. I understand inflation but when you think about it if you’re paying the same price as anywhere else that’s serving the same kinds of food your options start to open up. Aside from the price hike the consistency of their food taste and quality is just not there. Some days you get decent quality food and some days the same dish would be so bad. It’s like you’re taking a gamble every time you eat here. I use to recommend this place to friends and family because you can get a decent meal for a good price but now you can spend the same amount of money somewhere else instead of taking a gamble on this place.

Terrible service! I waited for my food(rice with spare ribs and fried beef noodle) for 20 minutes and when I checked back with them, I saw the food on the table. I asked the lady if the food on the table was mine, showing her my wait number. The lady said no. After 15 minutes, the lady called my number and said that the food sitting on the counter for 15 minutes was mine. WTF? The food left unattended; as such, it was cold. The lady didn’t apologize and told me to take the food. I had to make my point clear to get my food re-heated. What kind of garbage service is this?! The food was bland. The rice was über wet and soft. Never will I visit this place again! Terrible. Just terrible.

Big portions when you order the BBQ food with rice. I like their BBQ pork with rice. Another dish to try is their rice rolls. Legit HK style!

I came to Aberdeen Mall to have tea with a girlfriend and we did some browsing in the mall. This was one of the stores that we visited. Actually my GF ordered something from here and I took a few bites of her meal = ultra greasy. I am sure that it is full of MSG. Either way I didn’t feel too great after consumption.

I like their bbq pork rice noodle soup with lean and meaty BBQ pork and a few green vegetables too — reasonable price. This one doesn’t come with drink like the other meal combos. As I order combos I would usually go for their milk tea. I usually brought my own mug and container for the food and drink to take away, for healthier and Eco friendly eating habit. They are ok with that too which is good. :)

Excellent home cooked meal. Great deal for your dollar. Amazing portion size. The only criticism I have would be that it’s in the mall. Not something I would expect from mall food. Excellent two thumbs up

Leung Kee is one of the food vendors at Aberdeen Centre with the most traffic. In fact, they’ve even implemented a screen numbering system to keep up with their heavy flow of customers! They’re popular for a reason: they make delicious, authentic Cantonese food, and give out huge portion sizes. I didn’t see this on the menu, but I read a few reviews about it on Urbanspoon and Unilocal,so I decide to try it! You have the option to swap out the plain rice for fried rice for an additional $ 1.00. It came out to about $ 8.50 for the meal + an iced lemon tea. I ended up waiting about 10 mins for my food. The portion size was huge and could definitely suffice for 2 people. There were about 5 pieces of pork chops. I ended up eating about 2 pieces and ¼ quarters of the rice. Taste wise, it was pretty impressive for a food court! Definitely on par with some casual Cantonese restaurants. The pork chops were perfectly crispy and the interior was very moist. It was seasoned very well without being too salty. The rice was long grain rice and wasn’t too dry or soggy. Overall, a delicious meal for the price!

Whenever I visit Aberdeen Centre I have to pick up an order of Yang Chow Fried rice. It’s about $ 7CAD and you get soo much rice. It tastes pretty good and you def get more than your moneys worth.

This place really is good as it gets for fast Chinese food. Cheap, huge portions and TASTY. When I need a quick fix for fried rice and noodles, this is it. You def can’t finish their stuff in one sitting!

Maybe I’m just not into this kind of food court food all the time, but for $ 6.80, you sure will get home comfort food. boneless chicken leg, rice and a few strips of gai lan! rice w/the soya sauce yummy. possible repeat.

Leung Kee is located in Aberdeen Centre, and since I ate at Aberdeen so much during my week at Canada, I was able to try out most of the places that seemed very intriguing. My family and I definitely got a few favorite dishes from Leung Kee. I really liked their pork cake rice, which took awhile to make, but was always worth it. I tried their one with the pickled vegetables and the one without and both were really good. Mixed with the rice and the sauce that they provided, I didn’t have a problem eating almost all of it! My sister also tried their BBQ duck rice, which came in a pretty big box with duck and some vegetables. The duck was pretty fresh, and it came with a lot of rice. And the other dish I really liked was their sticky rice. A very heavy, but very fulfilling dish. Came in a round foil bowl like the pork cake rice, but with the cilantro and everything, I loved it! Flavors were spot on and definitely filled me up. Prices are decent, too!

Stir-fried Rice Noodles with Beef Slices — $ 6.75(5.75÷7) This is a classic Cantonese dish comprised of beef strips, «ho fun» rice noodles, onions, scallions, and bean sprouts. The dish is very straight forward and is usually seasoned with soy sauce and salt. You can complement the dish with hot sauce(preferably sriracha) to add a spicy kick to your meal! Leung Kee makes this dish quite well, although a bit oily. However, at the price of $ 6.75 for such a huge portion, we can’t complain! The dish comes with a Chinese soup which can be substituted with a drink for a dollar. The size of this dish is actually enough for two people to share! Ratings: Food: 5⁄7 Value: 7⁄7 Service: N/A

I *heart* Aberdeen Centre. The competition is so cutthroat here that pretty much every booth in the food court tastes awesome. Parking is available in the nearby lot. Just don’t hit a pillar like one of those Asian drivers. I always chuckle at the sheer number of scrape marks over pretty much every pillar. Body shops and painters must be raking it in. I actually wasn’t sure where to eat until I saw this stand, with pictures of their food stuck to the glass display case. Everything looked fine and dandy until I saw the«Photo for reference only» caption taped to one of their pictures. See photo. That was a head-scratcher. What else would the picture be used for? I guess they also didn’t hear that I wanted to eat in, because my food came in styrofoam containers instead of plates. I think I killed twice as many fish and trees and I needed to. There was a bit of confusion as I was waiting for my order. I was given a numbered card, but I guess they’re not sequential so I actually thought they had forgotten my order, but it came after some 10 minutes. Each combo comes with vegetable soup(Chinese-style Russian borscht). This stuff is always freaking awesome no matter where you go. Just be sure not to spill it on your shirt as the stuff is bright orange. BBQ pork — both tender, and not caked in fat. Really really beautiful. However, it was missing a little *something* that would put it in the same league as HKBBQ Master a few blocks away, or Kam Gok Yuen in Chinatown. I was really split between giving this place 4 stars or 5. It’d be a 4.5 if I had the ability. Soy chicken — also tender, and not-too-fatty. A special remark goes to their supplier. This is one of the best I’ve had anywhere. Curiously it came with a small dish of oil. Really fragrant and good, but this is the 1st time I’ve ever gotten one with soy chicken. Normally it comes with«white cut» chicken instead. Maybe I’m just ignant. Both combos came with a huge huge portion of rice. Unless you’re a human garbeurator like myself, their combos can easily feed 2 people each. Add another place to buy from again. Recommended.

Aberdeen Mall is competitive with various types of food offered by a number of vendors. Leung Kee offers amazing food to order not like the vendors at Yaohan. You do have to wait 5 – 10 min. as they cook your food after you order. The portions are huge and very reasonable priced. I visit Richmond 8 – 10 times a year and eat here every trip and have nevered been dissapointed. This is a no brainer if you are shopping at Aberdeen Mall or in the area.

Delicious! I tried the soy sauce chicken with rice, HK style tea, and pan fried rice noodle with beef. All dishes were super good! Also, each dish is huge-2 dishes shared among 3 people and we still had 1 take-out box filled to take home. There’s a long line for this place and that’s exactly why-it’s worth every penny!

One of my go-to food court joints, this gem is located in Aberdeen Centre. Parking blows if you go during the lunch time peak hours, but if you get there before 11:45, it’s pretty smooth sailing during the weekdays. Weekends though? Fuh-ged-aboudit. Recently, I ordered the Steamed Pork Spareribs with Chinese sausage on a bed of rice. This is a combo that comes with soup, a hot drink(coffee or tea) and an option to «upgrade» to a cold drink. I usually end up getting the Iced Lemon Tea. Portions are huge and cheap. Meals cost under $ 10 here easily. Their BBQ Duck with rice noodles is great and cheap as well!(under $ 6)

This place takes chinese fast food to another level. Leung Kee is the King of the Hill in terms of excellent food at Aberdene Centre. Although there are so many options in the mall, i always tend to stray back towards Leung Kee. My favourite dishes include: Pan Fried Soy Rice Noodles with Seasame and Sweet Sauce all over, Chicken and Chinese Sausage rice, Spare Ribs and Chinese Sausage rice, Soy Chicken with Lai Fun, and their drinks! The only reasons why i didn’t give it 5 stars is because of the wait. Some days it’s quick, on other days it’s really slow. This is all dependent on what time you go at. The other reason is i had a bad experience where my food was sour. This was when i ordered the Chicken and Chinese Sausage rice. Overall, the good experiences trump the bad.

Add this to the beef stew list. This place is in a food court, so it is for the most part fast food. That said, the food here was quite good. I ordered the Chinese beef stew(gnow nam) and a side order of Chinese broccoli(gai lan). Both dishes came out to about $ 9 total. The gai lan was seasoned well and cooked to a perfect al dente. They made everything to order and any chef in Vancouver that would over cook gai lan would be shot. The gnow nam portion was generous and seasoned well. By this I mean that it was the right level of sweet and salty. I would have wanted a more interesting spice blend, so as the flavor of the beef stew, it is average. The texture was quite nice, so for fast food, this place is really good value. Three stars.

Hello chow fun lover, come to me! I was expecting something a little more ghetto than what I received. Ordering beef stir fried noodles I couldn’t believe how far my $ 6 went. They accidentally gave me mine in a to go(Styrofoam) container, and it’s a good thing they did. I could only eat ½ of it! The presentation wasn’t pretty but the flavour that I love of chow fun was! I brought it home and enjoyed my leftovers, cold, for breakfast the next day too. Don’t judge, just try it. I think you’ll agree that Chinese leftovers for breakfast are the most decadent way to roll!
