Taiwan Yong Lai Xiang Dried Food

I came to Aberdeen Mall to have tea with a girlfriend and we did some browsing in the mall. This was one of the stores that we visited. I always get this and the other dried food place mixed up. First time in here since I lost my way and it ended up being a different store (see other review for the dried food place). There isn’t a lot here, especially for the amount of space. I don’t have a fancy iphone, therefore, could not look at the reviews, however, the pushy customer service mimics what other’s have said. I found some dried banana chips and the lady started putting the bag and taking it to the til without allowing me to decide if I even wanted it or not. She even rung it up for me. I looked at the chips, took it form my hand and proceeded to ring me up. WTF?

Its not very often you go into a store and the workers there actively try not to sell you anything. Was in the store yesterday and every time eye contact was made with the one employee on the floor (as I had a question I was going to try and get their attention) she would instantly turn/​walk away. at one point it looked like somebody was coming to help but then she also turned away when she got closer… I don’t want to claim racism but it was very hard not to feel this way when actively ignored while trying to receive help whilst every other person who came to the store was nicely greeted and asked if they needed anything.
I eventually found what I wanted to buy but decided I didn’t want to spend my money in the store. and went to another nearby where the employees were helpful.
